Welcome to NRB ~ An AU Naruto Role Play created by life long friends and inspired by many different RPs that we've created or Rp'd on. NRB is about creating your own shinobi or Kunoichi within the early years of the Shinobi Village system. The fun of the site is to not only go on awesome adventures as the likes of Naruto or even Kakashi but to also get your character recognition and raise their Rank and Legendary status by gaining experience and achieving legendary feats.

Sub-Boards
The Hidden Cloud Village (雲隠れの里; kumogakure no sato, lit. "hidden cloud village") is the ninja village of the Land of Lightning. As the ninja village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, the Hidden Cloud Village has a Kage as its leader known as the Raikage, of which there have been two in its history:
1) Shodaime Raikage (初代目雷影; shodaime raikage, lit. "first lightning shadow") Yokoshima Kurahama, whom brought about the idea of a ninja settlement in the Land of Lightning
2) Ūdemikōshi Mikijōnara, the Nidaime Raikage (二代目雷影; shodaime raikage, lit. "second lightning shadow"), whom officially founded the Hidden Cloud Village.
The village is located in the southern part of the 7th Heaven Mountain Range, and is literally hidden in the clouds. The Raikage works in a large blue structure built into the mountainside. The standard attire for Cloud shinobi consists of a long, grey top which gathers just at the waist to give a sash-like appearance, with a matching coloured bottom. Over this they wear white, one-strapped flak jackets and arm as well as shin-guards. Many Cloud Village ninja use Lightning Release and Earth Release techniques. |

Originally the first largely populated settlement in the Land of Lightning, and intended ninja village, Foreigner's Thunder (遠来雷; engurai, lit. "distant visitor thunder"), known by most of Lightning's citiizens merely as "Metropolis," now serves as the country's capital. Here one can find busy cities and towns full of activity at all hours. GUNBU has a post stationed here for when the Lightning daimyō visits from Castle. |

Shouldering Mountain
Shouldering Mountain (担山; katsuyama, lit. "shoulder mountain"), the 2nd tallest mountain in the 7th Heaven mountain range reaching a height of 7.71km (7710m), is most well-known for it being the location of the Hidden Cloud Village. Shouldering Mountain is more notable for its climbing challenge, and is one of the hardest peaks in the Land of Lighting in terms of technical difficulty because of its complex structure, its vertical relief, and the particularly steep climbing near the summit. The north face, in particular, has been the scene of some of the most technical (and controversial) climbing achieved at altitudes over 7km. |
