Border Jail (場留覇原; baruhara, lit. "realm detainment hegemony field") is the specific section of forest deep within the Damned Evergreens where resides Zaizarashi (材晒; zaizarashi, lit. "timber beaten (one)"), the titan-sentry hyena who watches over all the inhabitants of the Hidden Cloud Village, acting as one of the legendary sentries of the Land of Lightning alongside the titan-sentries of Pipsqueak Mountain and Bald Mountain, Jizarashi and Nozarashi respectively. What appears to be millions of panthers prowling about are truly Zaizarashi's body divided, effectively making herself her own pack. Of the spiritual triality popular through the Land of Lightning, Zaizarashi represents Earth, twilight and maternal insecurities (body, mind and soul). Unlike Jizarashi and Nozarashi, whom choose their abode willingly, Zaizarashi was exiled to Heart Mountain because of her extreme violence, cruelty and destruction whilst living in the Land of Lightning. For this reason Zaizarashi harbors intense hatred towards Jizarashi and Nozarashi, and will intentionally aim to fatally maim those she finds have contracts with either of her "sisters." Of the three matriarchs however, Zaizarashi is by far the most callous of the three, rarely offering her services willingly without payment.
