Chibi Bunshin

NAME: Chibi Bunshin [Little Child Clone] RANK: C TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: b/a CHAKRA USAGE: Low DESCRIPTION:This odd technique came about when Setsuna attempted to learn how to use Kage Bunshin. Due to unknown side effects, probably involving his at-the- time shoddy chakra control, Setsuna somehow managed to develop this ability instead. This technique creates solid clones roughly half the user’s size, sporting over-sized heads and comically large eyes that... sparkle, for lack of a better term. These clones speak in high pitched, annoyingly adorable voices, and squeaky sounds resonate from their feet as they walk around. Similar to the clones produced by its parent technique, these Chibi Bunshin are capable of performing jutsu on their own, but will disperse after one or two solid blows. However, unlike traditional Kage Bunshin these chibi variants possess only half of Setsuna’s strength due to their diminished size, though their speed is relatively unaffected. Additionally, the user’s chakra is not evenly divided among the clones when created; instead, each bunshin receives set quantity of the user’s chakra. While this allows Setsuna to use his clones much more frequently that Kage Bunshin their small chakra pool prevents these replicas from using chakra-intensive jutsu of above C-rank, and causes them to disperse after roughly five or-so minutes. NAME: Hirameki Bunshin [Strobe Clone] RANK: C TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: b/a CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low DESCRIPTION: Setsuna uses a quick single-handed seal to summon forth a Chibi Bunshin that possesses only enough chakra to sustain itself for a few seconds. Oftentimes Setsuna will have the clone appear and attack at the same time he lashes out at a foe, or will use the clone immediately after making his own attack while the target is still focused on him. He can even summon this short-lived replica in the middle of his more advanced taijutsu or kenjutsu attack patterns to ensure the foe does not escape, or to simply add an unexpected element into the fray. NAME: Shichikaiki [Seventh Anniversary Of Death] RANK: C TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Low DESCRIPTION: After gathering the necessary chakra and forming hand seals, the user of this techniques snaps his or her fingers at a target no more than ten meters away. Immediately a Chibi Bunshin poofs into existence in front of the target and delivers a basic taijutsu or bukitjutsu attack. Hit or miss the replica disappears after attacking, only for another clone to emerge mid-leap from the previous clone’s smoke cloud to deliver another attack. This process continues, with clones appearing one at a time in front of foe and attacking, until a total of seven clones have attacked the foe. The sheer speed at which the clones manifest and attack can be used to overwhelm the target’s defenses, with the entirety of this attack occurs in under five seconds. NAME: Issunboushi Senzai [Earth Release: Spouting Clone Garden] RANK: C TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Low DESCRIPTION: The user summons a group of five Chibi Bunshin, all of which erupt up from the earth in mid-leap towards the target. The clones attempt to latch one the target with basic grappling skills to hamper the victim’s mobility for the brief period of time they stick around. Even with their weak physical strength, their sheer numbers can even inconvenience opponents of great physical strength. The clones can additionally attack the target while restraining them, lashing out with their tiny fists or handheld weaponry as best they can. NAME: Fūton: Akachan Kerimasu [Wind Release: Kick the Baby] RANK: C TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Fūton CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: The user summons a Chibi Bunshin infused with wind chakra; said wind chakra causes the clone to float helplessly in midair, writhing and screaming in terror. The user then punts the freshly-made clone and launches it towards the target like a missile (albeit a hysterically sobbing missile). While in flight the clone’s physical form is destroyed, unleashing the Fūton chakra within it as a powerful gust of wind in all directions. At full power this concussive blast of air can flatten large trees in a wide radius and fling debris with enough force to embed it in concrete. The clone can be loaded up with weaponry in order to add an extra element to the attack, launching all manner of kunai and shuriken at high speed upon detonation. NAME: Katon: Bakudan Teishoku [Fire Release: Firebomb Special] RANK: B TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Katon CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: The user summons a number of clones infused with katon chakra, causing them to immediately burst in flame and scream in agony. The ideal use of this technique is for the clones to function as living bombs, rushing the target at full-speed and subsequently detonating in a fiery explosion that [does a lot of damage]. In practice, however, the clones will often turn on the user and try to take revenge for their suffering. Bearing this in mind, the user will generally require some means to coerce the clone towards their victim, be it willingly or otherwise. NAME: Pachinko Jjigoku [Pinball Hall Hell] RANK: B TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: The user knocks the target backwards with a physical blow then summons seven Chibi Bunshin to surround the target while they are still reeling. The gathering of clones and their creator then deliver a flurry of punches and kicks, knocking the victim back and forth between them in a manner akin to that of a pinball. This unrelenting flurry of attacks from every angle launches the victim at such speeds that their body doesn’t touch the ground between blows. The user and his or her replicas then all rush toward the victim and deliver simultaneous blows with enough force to cause the clones to dispel. NAME: Chibi Tsuchikage [Little Child Hammer Shadow] RANK: B TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: An odd little technique, similar to the Food Cart Destroyer technique in function. After performing the necessary hand seals the user produces a cluster of up to thirty Chibi Bunshin tightly clinging to each other, forming a rough sphere up to roughly 10 meters in diameter, directly above the target. This wrecking ball of intertwined clones immediately drops straight-down out of the sky towards the victim below. Just as one swings a hammer to pound a nail into a wooden board, the user drops this wrecking ball of mangled limbs to try and pound his target into the ground. After slamming into the ground, regardless of whether or not the attack was successful, the clones fall apart and subsequently disappear due to a combination of the force they experience upon collision and their already limited lifespans. NAME: Chibi Bunshin: _____ [??] RANK: B TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: The user summons two Chibi Bunshin and, in a fit of what might consider sheer insanity, grabs two by the feet in each hand and lunges at their opponent. The clones hold their swords overhead as the user flips the clones over his shoulder and haphazardly swings them as if they were clubs a total ten times. Each clones slashes with their individual blows blade with each, allowing each attack to come from an unexpected angle as to prevent predictability. Additionally, the Chibi bunshin can hurl throwable weapons using their free arm with each swing. The end result is true chaos; though undeniably silly and unprofessional, the sheer speed at which this series of blows is performed at – as well as the storm of thrown projectiles - allows for a rapid blitz to catch foes off guard and, quite frankly, leave them speechless. NAME: Kage Chibimawaru [Shadow Child Rave] RANK: A TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: High DESCRIPTION: This technique allows Setsuna to create a number of clones with the limited ability to self-replicate. Upon initial activation, Setsuna produces what appear to be regular Kage Bunshin; after taking a solid blow these clones disappear in a cloud of smoke, and two new clones, standing at three-fourths of Setsuna's height, appear in their place. The clones generated from destroying one of these second-generation clones produces a pair of clones standing at half of Setsuna's height. The amount of chakra possessed by each clone is half that of the previous generation it came from; in short, the smaller the clone, the more difficult it is for it to perform high-ranked ninjutsu. Curiously enough their diminished size has no impact on their physical abilities; every clone is every bit as agile and powerful as Setsuna himself.
