NAME: Raiden WEAPON TYPE: Sword RANK: C APPEARANCE: Ryukage is a weapon forged specifically for Michio by his grand father. It is, as Michio's request, made to be very flashy, and stand out among most swords. It is a.....Longsword never scene in this world before apparently. The blade is doubled sided, having no dull piece, not matter which way it is swung. The blade its self is white steel on the outside with a hard metal of the same level on the inside and holding it in the hilt, though it is made to look golden. The hilt is also made of the same metal and is eloquently designed, causing most to believe it is for decoration, also possessing circle at the end, the guard goes outwards to give the blade a look like a cross. The blade's length three feet even. ABILITIES: The blade has the ability to equip all five basic elements, although in Michio's hands he can only currently give it water. This is of course done through chakra absorption. While this cause no constant drain, the element will not go away until the jutsu is removed, and there for makes it unsheathable. Further more, each element give it some sort of sound, and thus makes it mostly useless on stealth missions as it will give away one's position. Katon: When Katon nature chakra is flowed through Raiden, the blade begins to glow a firey red, allowing it to create burns (first degree on contact, second if the blade is held onto the target for more than two seconds). This mostly is used to make the cuts even more painful, but can also be used to cauterize wounds if held to an open one. The blade will make a hissing sound until the chakra is expelled. Raiton: When Raiton nature chakra is flowed through Raiden, the blade takes no visible changes to the naked eye. The blade will cause the area (one foot) around which it was cut to become numb, making movements lag commands. At will one may focus the raiton on the point, making it glow, allowing it to pierce objects it wouldn't usually be able to. The blade cannot increase piercing power and give a numbing effect at the same time. The blade will constantly buz until the chakra is expelled. Fuuton: When Fuuton nature chakra is flowed through Raiden, the blade takes no visible changes to the naked eye. However, the fuuton around the blade will make it seem as if a heatwave is around it. The blade's cutting ability will be increased on rank, allowing one to slash through objects easier and cut objects of a higher rank. The blade will seem to whistle at all times. Suiton: When Suiton nature chakra is flowed through Raiden, the blade will constantly be covered in running water. The water is just as sharp as the blade, and will double its reach and the depth at which it cuts without adding weight. The blade will make a constant splashing sound until the chakra is expelled, sounding like the waves on a beach. Doton: When Doton nature chakra is flowed through Raiden, the white parts of the blade turn black, while the gold remains the same. The entire sword's durability becomes a rank higher as long as the blade is under this effect. When the Doton chakra is activated, a crinkling sound can be heard, although the sound ceases afterwards. The blade is about as durable and sharp as your average C-rank weapon. It can cut through flesh and wood easily, but weapons or armor of higher density just make it clank off. As far as durability, one must use a powerful attack or sharp weapon to break it. |
