NAME: Nise no Kuchiyose [False Summoning] RANK: D TECH TYPE: Universal | Genjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Low DESCRIPTION: A fairly simple, yet useful technique for tricking an opponent. The user will proceed through the process of summoning in the normal manner. Upon the target(s) seeing the user place their hand on a surface the technique will be triggered. The technique allows the user to summon a small to medium size summon of any animal type they wish, which then may be used to "attack" the target(s). It may even appear to do damage to them, but the truth of the matter is that the creature and it's movements are fictional. Generally the technique is utilized to make an opponent waste time and energy fighting something that is not even there. The target is running around fighting an imaginary summon the whole time, and can still see the user. NAME: Fukushi no Jutsu [Double Vision Technique] RANK: D TECH TYPE: Universal | Genjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Low DESCRIPTION: A fairly simple technique used widely by starting shinobi. This technique tricks the mind into doubling its vision. While this is a very low rank technique and one that even children can use, its usefulness in combat should not be underestimated. Using this technique the user could suddenly cause a weapon or taijutsu user to have their combat effectiveness drastically reduced. The technique is activated upon seeing a single handseal. This doesn't actually affect their ability to move their body, just mentally makes it harder to make those judgement. NAME: Utsushidasa Reta Kotoba [Projected Words] RANK: D TECH TYPE: Universal | Genjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low DESCRIPTION: Another fairly simple, but ever useful technique. Upon hearing the user say "read it" the target(s) will be captured in the illusion. Rather than being used offensively, this technique causes the target(s) to see whatever the user wishes or is required on a piece of paper. This could be used to change a flyer into a letter of recommendation or even to change the words already written on a document to change or include something else. In reality the paper is either blank or does not contain what the illusion caster wants them to see. NAME: Magen: Yajuu [Demonic Illusion: Monster] RANK: C TECH TYPE: Universal | Genjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: Cast by hearing the trigger word "beast", once under the effects of the Genjutsu the target will see the caster's eyes begin to glow as they turn black. The black silhouette of the caster's figure will rupture, with a monstrous beast leaping out from their body and opening it's mouth wide in order to attempt to eat the target. While this cannot actually eat the target, sometimes the shock of thinking they've been eaten can be enough to knock out a target. In reality the caster has just been removed from the vision of the target for the duration of the Genjutsu, giving them an opening to attack, escape or prepare another jutsu. The belief they are being eaten can often leave people paralyzed since they don't think they can move. NAME: Magen: Medusa no Kisu [Demonic Illusion: Kiss of Medusa] RANK: B TECH TYPE: Universal | Genjutsu ELEMENT: n/a CHAKRA USAGE: Medium DESCRIPTION: This genjutsu is activated upon eye contact being made. Upon activation the target's body will begin to stiffen up and eventually be unable to move. From the target's perspective they appear to be turning to stone from their hands and feet inwards. If the target under the effects of the genjutsu does not break out of it by either releasing it or by other means, they will fall unconscious when their head is turned to stone too. The target will also experience great pain followed by a numb sensation in the areas of the body they are being convinced are turning into stone. In reality the target is just paralyzed until they either break the illusion or fall unconscious. |
