NAME: Hiraishin no Jutsu [Flying Thunder God Technique] RANK: S TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu, Jikūkan Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None CHAKRA USAGE: Neligible [Tag Creation] | Very High [Activation] DESCRIPTION: The apex of Inu's mastery of jutsu-shiki, the Flying Thunder God Technique is one that incorporates the "shunshin" ("瞬身") technique-formula, but with altered kanji, similar to what he accidentally accomplished through his Orbital Motion Technique. This alteration changes the nature of the technique into something more abstract, granting Inu the ability to "flick from one point in space-time to another". The “shunshin” tag serves as the anchor for the technique, fixing a certain destination in space as the point of arrival. When the technique activates, the tagged point overlaps with Inu’s point in space and time, a process that occurs so quickly that Inu seems to “fly out of existence”, appearing to ascend from his current point in space only to descend upon the tagged point in the very same instant. However, manipulating the fabric of space-time with such dexterity requires massive amounts of chakra. Added to this are additional chakra costs that take into account the size of the transported body and the distance of the transportation. While the tag is, in most cases, a necessary portion of the technique, the true nature of the technique is that anything in contact with Inu’s chakra can be transported to a separate location where his chakra also exists. The tag, essentially, grants range and stability, as it is impossible to remove by normal means. However, objects or people can also be transported to remote locations where Inu’s chakra does not exist, but this is a more general form of transportation that lacks the precision of the “shunshin” tag, making it more useful for transporting dangerous and threatning bodies (such as bombs) than people. Activated with the Seal of Confrontation, the technique’s ability to transport designated targets is so fast as to trump even the most accurate forms of sensory, such as high-level dōjutsu like the Sharingan. NAME: Hiraishin: Dōrai [Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder] RANK: A TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu, Jikūkan Ninjutsu, Kekkai Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None CHAKRA USAGE: Negligible [Setting the Tag] | Very High [Activation] DESCRIPTION: This barrier technique incorporates the use of the Flying Thunder God formula to erect a barrier space capable of warping away anything which comes in contact with it. Once erected, the barrier is powerful enough to warp away techniques as destructive as a Tailed Beast Ball. Once warped, the subject of the technique can be directed to another location marked by the formula. NAME: Hiraijin no Jutsu [Flying Thunder Formation Technique] RANK: A TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu, Jikūkan Ninjutsu, Konbijutsu ELEMENT: None CHAKRA USAGE: Neglible [Setting the Tag] | High [Activation] DESCRIPTION: A simpler version of Hiraishin, which incorporates collaboration, the technique grants multiple shinobi the ability to warp a target towards a marked location in an instant. This requires that the shinobi in question form a circular formation around a given point, which then allows them to transport anything within that formation. NAME: Hiraishingiri [Flying Thunder God Slash] RANK: B TECH TYPE: Personal | Ninjutsu, Jikūkan Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None CHAKRA USAGE: Neglible [Setting the Tag] | Very High [Activation] DESCRIPTION: A technique combining the use of a bladed weapon and space–time ninjutsu. The user teleports to a marked target, with weapon in hand, to instantaneously deliver a swift, devastating slash to his opponent. Because of the speed of the technique's execution, not even an individual wielding the Sharingan — a dōjutsu capable of predicting movement — has enough reaction time to defend themselves against this technique.
