APPEARANCE HEIGHT 5'9 WEIGHT 160 LBS Michio's appearance is close to that of a bishōnen, a pretty boy basically. To stereo typical men, he's a wuss, to stereo typical girls, hes dreamy. His build is above average, with six pack abs. He has neck length blonde hair and turquoise eyes to compliment them. His skin is Caucasian and has no blemishes or flaws. His clothes consist of a white shirt that he only buttons in the middle. This is worn with burgundy/light purple pants with a black which is being held up by a white belt. A black studded collar encircles his neck and a black tie is also included but it is worn extremely loosely. Michio also has various ear piercings, three silver loops on his left ear, yet on the right he sports only two silver loops and a red stud. Hero also wears a ring on the middle finger of his left hand. He carries himself in a relaxed yet showy air, with a constant smirk on his face. He normally has his hands in his pockets, his shirt untucked and his tie hanging loosely. His clothing is meant to stand out among other genin, as are his piercings and other accessories. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY NINDO "To be the best shinobi." QUOTE: "Lets make it showy" "Hade ni ikuze."  Michio is easy going yet a show off. He doesn't like to stress out over much, and prefers to live in the moment, in a bit of a showy and adrenaline filled fashion. That means running, jumping from high areas, training, sparring, and anything that gets his blood running. Now, this doesn't mean he isn't in capable of relaxing, infact, he does it alot. If not busy getting his adrenaline to course through every vein in his body, he's probably some where relaxing in the shade. He has a very sarcastic and laid-back, "go with the flow" outlook on many things, including missions. He also is shown to have a very kind and protective side towards towards those he gains a close bond with. He acts like an older brother towards them, he gets them out of trouble even when it could get him into trouble, will crack a few insult jokes, and normally have some treat for them. He is known for being, among friends, an encyclopedia of random information. Michio is not easily read when you aren't close to him. Even when stressed he keeps his normal attitude, though he becomes more sarcastic. He doesn't really change unless you do something bad, like hurting a friend, or doing something very emotionally painful. He, however, does have one trigger: insults. Not at him though, you insult this and he'll either counter or laugh it off. Its when you insult friends and family that he gets pissed. Do this and he will snap, and possibly beat the crap out of you. Michio strives to be the best shinobi he can. He, as his father before him, wants him to become a great ninja. This is one of the few things that he cann't take lightly. He has to be great, and has to win most of the time. He cann't handle multiple losses in a row, and when he does, he becomes much more stressed than usual, and clearly shows. He'll also train heavy until he can try and beat someone who was on the same level as those who've beaten him. | ||||||||
HISTORY Michio was born into the Sotaru clan on New Years Day. He grew up with a pretty normal life for one with shinobi parents, his parents spent whatever off time they had with him, which was alot thanks to the recently ended war and new peace was every day. When not with his parents, he was normally with his friends or grandpa. He,like many children with shinobi parents, was convinced he was destined to be a great ninja, despite his grand-father's constant sarcastic jokes about it. As such, as soon as he was able, he joined the new-ish Shinobi Academy. During his time at the academy, Michio began to develop his flashy personality, making sure people knew what he could do. However, the jonin's slowly realized something about him, he didn't have a talent for anything like most shinobi. Most had decent skill in one field, a bit of skill in other, and sucked at the rest. In other cases they showed a ton of talent in one area, while sucking in the rest. He however, was average at everything. Michio of course, hated it because: being average at everything wasn't flashy. However his grandfather explained that he had a special ability that most didn't have. He had no problems learning and adapting. Basically, even though he didn't excel in ninjutsu or fuinjutsu, he didn't have any style he had a hard time learning. Michio, while seeing that this was good and useful, still hated it and his academy title of: Average-At-Everything Michio. Eventually of course he graduated, honestly a bit earlier than most genin. It was at this point that they took the paper test to see what chakra nature they had. Strangely, for him, two effects happened at once. The paper grew soggy, the power of gravity alone causing the paper to fall apart. Michio was then taken in by his father to learn to utilize his chakra nature. Thus began his first genin missions. His parents had left on a mission and it was time to find out what a D-rank mission was. Unfortunately, D-rank missions were glorified missions. So short they were done with three in a few hours. When he returned home he rested and repeated the cycle. Four days later, he was concerned as his parents had not returned home. Two days after that he was informed that both his parents had died on their missions. Michio was now an orphan a fact that sent him deep into depression, only responding to his guardian, his grandpa. It wouldn't be until the next batch of genin came out that he would get out of his depression. His grandpa crafted him a sword as a gift, and gave it to him under one condition: he continue his dream of being the best shinobi he could be, and to make his parents proud. With his grandfather's sword, and his dream pushing him back up, Michio rejoined the shinobi force. To celebrate, Michio decided to try and climb Bald Mountain, a feat few lay claim to. As one may guess, a genin trying to climb the tallest mountain of Kumogakure is suicide, and Michio would have died from the winter cold it were not for the help of the Guardian of Bald Mountain: Nozarashi. Nozarashi would find Michio 100 meters up the mountain. rescuing the child and taking him to the only part of the mountain habitable by humans. She would spend two months nursing him back to health, as well as helping him grow his chakra pools to help him survive the trek down the mountain. She would learn much about Michio, his past, his shinobi training, and the loss of his parents. As the two grew close, she would adopt Michio, performing a ritual where he fed his blood to Nozarashi, bonding the two. She would even teach Michio summoning jutsu to call her when he needed her. When the winter finally ended, Michio was brought back to Kumogakure by the Rakage himself, Nozarashi's way of assuring Michio made it to the village alive. Shortly after these events, Michio was sent on a mission with his new squadmates, Raitomoe Ranmaru and Mitsu Tennin. Here he would battle several enraged mountain lions, a local super beast in the land of lightning. Using the super beast's size to their advantage, Michio's team managed to kill the animals before they could become a threat. However, they unwititngly caught the attention of a stronger super beast, one empowered by the chakra of the 8 tails. After a long and tiring battle, the three managed to kill the beast, returning to their commander in the hope of joining the battle against the 8 tails. However by the time they arrived, the 8 Tails had been sealed. Michio dejectedly returned with the rest of the shinobi to Kumogakure, most of them needing to rest, even if they were barely involved in the 8 tails fight. Michio and his squad would be brought into the Kage's office, to finally report on their mission. Here, Michio would be foolish enough to consume the pearl that housed the 8 tails. Despite the jonin and chuunin's best efforts, the pearl would not come up, without surgery. However, a near by Uzumaki had a better idea. She would take Michio away for a small period to place a seal on him, becoming the first 8 tails jinchuuriki. Michio now holds within him a demon of unrivaled physical ability, and a strength to finally set him apart from everyone else. | ||||||||
SPECIALIZATIONS: BIJUU CONTROL SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Michio's control over the 8 Tails is minimal. Him and the 8 Tails are unable to communicate in a full conversation, Michio able to be heard by 8 tails, but 8 Tails unable to respond. Michio is not even able to see what 8 Tails looks like. While Michio may someday be able to get him to help, it will take a lot of work. NINJUTSU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Like all of his abilities, Michio's skill in ninjutsu is average. Although he uses more of it than any other style, he isn't great. TAIJUTSU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Like all of his abilities, Michio's skill in taijutsu is average. His style is like his all around ninja style, not focusing on speed, strength, or endurance, but using all of them at once. BUKIJUTSU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Like all of his abilities, Michio's skill in bukijutsu is average. He can handle shuriken and kunai well, although he obviously favors the blade. GENJUTSU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Like all of his abilities, Michio's skill with genjutsu at his level is just average. He can perform Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu, and break out of weak genjutsu. FUUINJUSTU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Like all of his abilities, Michio's skill with fuinjutsu at his level is just average. He can preform Hikin Fuinjutsu but thats all so far. The only thing that separates him from other shinobi in this field is his ability to make ink at will, thus bypassing the need to carry ink on his person. | ||||||||

Now with their chakra combined into one, Michio's chakra pools rival most jonin. His chakra control however has suffered from this, and Michio has recently been known to cause accidents as he becomes use to his sudden large pools of chakra. Magenetic Personality Michio has a...special presonality. He is just so inspirational and passionate about what he does, that he can convince others to join him. This allows him to, although usually not on purpose, influence other's decisions, such was persauding them to join his side, or increasing the moral of his teammates. | ||||||||
