Wasp

蜂刺 | Hachisa [Wasp Sting] WEAPON TYPE: Senbon [Accupuncture Needle] RANK: C ELEMENT: 雷遁 | Raiton [Lightning Release] APPEARANCE: These senbon are lined with thousands of minute "teeth" like the proboscis of a mosquito. From a distance the senbon appear almost fuzzy, as if covered in thin hairs. Like standard senbon, this variation is incredibly light and due to its nebium composition, exceptionally durable. The "wasp" senbon can be thrown accurately up to 30m without any physical enhancements (special abilities, jutsu, etc.) NOTE: These count as one item in one's inventory at 25 per "slot." ABILITIES: 宇宙鋼状い資財・隕石硬度 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Insekigōdō [Nebium Property: Meteorite Hardness] This variant of senbon possess a special property beyond their nebium composition. Much like their standard counterparts, these senbon are used to inflict minor piercing wounds, albeit slightly greater due to the specific metal used. However, due to the shaft of these senbon being lined with thousands of minute "teeth" much like the proboscis of a female mosquito, the initial piercing of the skin causes the various "teeth" to move in such a way as to go "with the grain" of skin and muscle tissue, effectively preventing the senbon from trigger sensation nerves within the area. Naturally the needles can cause minor external and internal bleeding; what makes these weapons much more devious is the effect following once the senbon have pierced the skin. The barbed edges of senbon are charged with Lightning Release chakra, and react aggressively when stimulated by the surrounding nerves. The Lightning Release chakra spreads out from the senbon, attaching to the nearby nerves; while removal is not impossible, doing so is incredibly painful, as one is essentially ripping out a thumbnail-sized chunk of muscle tissue and nerves. Despite its small size, this kind of senbon when thrown can easily pierce through skin, muscle, and bone, and even travel its length deep into bedrock; obviously, any defensive armor or technique of a higher rank can stop the senbon's penetration. NOTE: These senbon' durability stems from nebium, granting each one resistance to basic elemental chakra nature damage [c-rank and below] and moderate physical attacks [c-rank and below taijutsu/bukijutsu]

Tarantula Hawk

大多毛蜘蜂刺 | Ōtakegumobachisa [Tarantula Hawk Sting] WEAPON TYPE: Senbon [Accupuncture Needle] RANK: B ELEMENT: 雷遁 | Raiton [Lightning Release] APPEARANCE: These senbon, unlike the standard variants, are fashioned after an augur, granting these senbon exceptional aerodynamics; while in flight these senbon hum ever so slightly, akin to a bee just within earshot. The "tarantula hawk" are only slighter thicker than the standard, measuring roughly 1.6mm wide and 12.7cm long (~5in). Like standard senbon, this variation is incredibly light and due to its nebium composition, exceptionally durable. The "tarantula hawk" senbon can be thrown accurately up to 30m without any physical enhancements (special abilities, jutsu, etc.) NOTE: These count as one item in one's inventory at 10 per "slot." ABILITIES: 宇宙鋼状い資財・隕石硬度 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Insekigōdō [Nebium Property: Meteorite Hardness] This variant of senbon is similar to a standard senbon, albeit possessing an enhanced durability and strength due to its nebium composition. The aerodynamic design of the "tarantula hawk" allows the senbon to quickly reach maximum rotation only seconds after being thrown, allowing for an incredibly potent piercing capability. Despite its small size, this kind of senbon when thrown can easily pierce through skin, muscle, and bone, and even travel its length deep into bedrock; obviously, any defensive armor or technique of a higher rank can stop the senbon's penetration. Due to the design, simply removing the senbon (i.e. yanking it out) can cause potentially serious injury, as the senbon is able to penetrate deep into the body; in order to successfully remove the senbon, one must twist up in the opposite direction the senbon entered.  NOTE: These senbon' durability stems from nebium, granting each one resistant to basic elemental chakra nature [b-rank and below] and advanced chakra nature damage [c-rank and below], as well as resistance to intense physical attacks [b-rank and below taijutsu/bukijutsu]. 宇宙鋼状い資財・生気導電性 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Seiki Dōdensei [Nebium Property: Chakra Conductive] Similar to the "wasp" senbon, the "tarantula hawk" senbon are naturally forged with Lightning Release chakra. As the senbon flies through the air, the rotation of the curved blade around the center shaft builds up dangerous amounts of static electricity; upon piercing the skin, the senbon will violently discharge the static electricity into the surrounding nerves and muscle tissue. The affected areas instantly begin to literally twist and coil around each other, like spaghetti on a fork, assaulting the target with a pain so severe that it becomes difficult to move. The initial penetration is relatively painless, and often unnoticed; however, it is the immense discharge of Lightning Release chakra directly into the body that is equated to a tarantula hawk's sting, giving the senbon its moniker; such a sting is only described as immediate, excruciating, unrelenting pain that simply shuts down one's ability to do anything except scream; the only true counters to the adverse effects are those who possess enhanced physical durability or immense willpower (special abilities). The pain inflicted fades quickly, lasting no more than one rotation; however, the area effected remains extremely sore, making most movement rather strenuous [taijutsu/kenjutsu b-rank and above are unusuable for 2 posts]. Due to the nature of the senbon, the effects do not stack (i.e. using multiple senbon will not increase the stun rotation time; in order to reapply the effects, the initial stun rotation must first wear off).

Shocking Tag

感電罠 | Kandenwana [Zap Trap] WEAPON TYPE: 札 | Fuda [Tag] RANK: C ELEMENT: 雷遁 | Raiton [Lightning Release] APPEARANCE: These look like normal explosive tags. However, the fūinjutsu-shiki [sealing technique formula] that is written upon them is done so in a midnight blue ink. The tags do not explode like normal tags, as they possess the elemental properties of [Lightning Release]. While they can still result in an explosion, they also can be used very strategically in battle. ABILITIES: 生気導電性 | Seiki Dōdensei [Chakra Conductive] These tags have [Lightning Release] chakra sealed within them. When one is activated using the standard [Explosive Seal Technique], it releases a large amount of electricity, though in varying fashions. If activated by a release involving the bird hand-sign, the result is an explosion the size of a single [1] explosive tag, albeit with electrical sparks. Not only will this explosion result in shocking damage, but it will also send violent jolts of electricity through the body of those caught within it, resulting in temporary stunning, lasting roughly [1 post]. However, if released with the normal means for explosive tags, namely the seal of confrontation, the tag releases its stored chakra much slower. If attached to metal or submerged in water, a tag will send the electricity through the conductor. For metal, this means that the strikes contain piercing and shocking damage; this charge will last for roughly [3 posts]. For water, this will send the electricity out much faster, sending the shock towards anyone within the water in a 5m radius from where the tag was located. If attached directly to the opponent and activated, the tag is able to cause severe pain and paralysis for [1 post] unless removed.

Hidden Cloud Marbles

秘蔵雲形真珠 | Hisōgumogata Shinju [Treasured Cloud-formation Pearls] WEAPON TYPE: 生気弾き玉 | Seiki Hikidama [Chakra Marbles] RANK: B ELEMENT: 雷遁 | Raiton [Lightning Release] APPEARANCE: Not a weapon in a traditional sense, this kind of necklace is typically worn by higher ranked ninja, consisting of 108 chakra-reactive glass "pearls", each one 1.5cm (~.6in) in diameter, held together by a chakra-string which requires no maintenance once created, and can be created multiple times for minimal chakra. Each "pearl" is actually multifaceted, having 100 smooth sides, giving the appearance of roundness; however, should one hold a "pearl" in one's fingers the slight edges of each facet can be felt. When first created each "pearl" is a milky white reminiscent of a true pearl, however upon a wearer sealing a bit of one's [Lightning Release] chakra inside each "pearl" using the [Generic Sealing Technique], the [Lightning Release] chakra will appear to swirl around as a sunflower and cream hue swirled together. Upon channeling chakra into a "pearl", the wearer can cause it to enlarge to fit in one's palm to be thrown more easily; upon shattering the "pearl" releases the [Lightning Release] chakrain a billowing smoke-like cloud. ABILITIES: 生気導電性 | Seiki Dōdensei [Chakra Conductive] Similar to his personal mayoke fuda tags, these "pearls" are intended more to give Kanka an edge in a pinch than to cause any damage, causing nothing more than a very brief stinging; when used en masse, a target may receive moderate bruising, though nothing greater nor fatal. Each "pearl" has a minute amount of Kanka's kindness chakra aura sealed insealed via his [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique]. To embue all 108 "pearls" requires Kanka sacrifice a mighty 1/10th of his total chakra, which takes roughly one day to recover due to the nature of the sealing process. Due to the nature of Kanka's fūinjutsu, upon impact with another surface, be it metal, wood, another living being or even water, the glass "pearl" will shatter releasing Kanka's chakra aura in a smoke-like cloud in a 1m radius. While the "explosive" release of stored chakra does not actually cause any damage, the chakra will illuminate anything within the affected area with Kanka's signature orange-and-purple chakra aura. Much like Kanka's passive kindness chakra aura, these "pearls" serve to act as a medium to temporarily disable targets by flooding their chakra coil with his own pacifying chakra. The calming effects of Kanka's kindness chakra aura only last 10 seconds, after which the affected target(s) quickly comes to their senses. While using multiple "pearls" at one time does not increase the duration of the effect of Kanka's chakra aura on any individuals affected, this can be used as a way to cover a larger area. After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will channel their Lightning Release chakra into their lungs, causing one’s chest to expand nearly twice in size. The user will proceed to change and mold the elemental chakra into a mist, expelling it as a cloud-like formation up to 20 meters. This electric mist remains suspended in the air, lasting five [5] posts (unless blown away by a Fūton technique) before evaporating. The mist imitates the nature of a conductor. When an organic substance, which produces its own bioelectrical field, enters the electric mist field, the mist will attach itself to the nerves on the skin's surface. The chakra will then suddenly change its structure, effectively acting as wires. By doing so, those who enter the mist field supply the necessary battery, in this case one’s own bioelectricity, to complete a current. Victims will be shocked with roughly ½ an amp of electricity as long as they remain within the mist field. More than two [2] posts of exposure can lead to severe 2nd degree burns and chest pain. Naturally, should anyone within the field have their eyes open, they will suffer a severe burning sensation and greatly increased tear production, temporarily rendering those in the mist blinded as long as they remain in the mist's area.

縫い目裂け目 | Nuimesakeme [Seamripper] WEAPON TYPE: 金味武器 | Kanamibuki [Bladed Weapon] RANK: B ELEMENT: 雷遁 | Raiton [Lightning Release] APPEARANCE: A rather unique tool, the seamripper was commissioned during Kumogakure's clan wars to provide an advantage in weaponizing a usually "everyday" item. The weapon takes the guise of an enlarged seam ripper; the bottom blade measures 76cm (~2'5") long while the upper blade measures 50cm (~1'6") long, both only 6cm (~2.3") wide. The edge of each blade is hued a deep, ruby red, the rest of the body a obsidian-sheen, pitch-black. Created from a titanium alloy, and folded over 10 times, each seamripper is very sharp and sturdy, able to match with most blades of similar and lower rank. While the yakiba [lit. hard section] of both the upper, shorter blade and the lower, longer blade are indeed sharp, it is the "inside" of the seamripper that is where its primary purpose lies; lined along the length of the inside of the blades (not the yakiba, but the section opposite) is lined with hundreds of tiny, jagged teeth like a shark's mouth. These small "teeth," while able to cause cuts, are a minimal danger on their own, but when [Lightning Release] chakra is flowed through them the seamripper becomes a weapon worthy of acknowledgement. ABILITIES: 宇宙鋼状い資財・隕石硬度 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Insekigōdō  [Nebium Property: Meteorite Hardness] Just like most bladed weapons, the seamripper is able to clash and defend against other bladed weapons to a degree [B-rank and below]. NOTE: The seamripper's durability stems from its nebium composition, granting resistance to basic elemental chakra nature [b-rank and below] and advanced chakra nature damage [c-rank and below]; resistant to intense physical attacks [b-rank and below taijutsu/bukijutsu]. 宇宙鋼状い資財・生気導電性 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Seiki Dōdensei  [Nebium Property: Chakra Conductive] What makes this weapon unique is similar to that of a seam ripper used for clothing; when Lightning Release chakra is channeled into the weapon, beginning at the handle near the user, the chakra will proceed to jump from the "teeth" lining the inside. Due to the many hundreds of teeth present, this allows the Lightning Release chakra to effectively increase in cutting power, similar to how electrons running through a railgun get exponentially stronger. The chakra near the front of the seamripper, where the shorter blade ends and the longer continues, is where the blade is the sharpest; using the front end, the wielder can cleave through most corporal chakra constructs [B-rank and below] and even non-corporal constructs such as Fire Release, Lightning Release, and even Wind Release techniques, at the cost of a high amount of chakra per post. This is due to the Lightning Release chakra effectively destabilizing said chakra constructs by inferring with the composition with immense vibrations, effectively nullfying said construct's stability. Due to the nature of this weapon, the seamripper has an exceptional advantage when going against bandage or cloth-based techniques or equipment made from silk, due to the material reacting especially negatively from the seamripper's vibrations, being easily rent apart [A-rank and below techniques, B-rank and below clothing].

In order to keep the technique active, the user must place the palm of their other hand on the bicep of the arm enveloped by the technique; doing so allows the user a more direct and precise flow of chakra into the appendage. Possessing a large hand-like shape roughly 3m at its widest point (the arms are roughly equal, if a bit smaller, to the size of arms enlarged by an Akimichi's “Partial Multi-Size Technique”), the appendage can be used to defend against techniques and weaponry of equal or lesser power, as well as act as a giant hand, picking up objects of similar size for various purposes, such as throwing moderate sized boulders or restraining a person. Due to the nature of the bandages, the hand is able capability to easily break bones and crush stone; however, much harder substances, such as metal are nearly completely unharmed.

After doing so, the user will launch the mass into the ground right in front of them, only to have it violently explode upward from the ground as a wall 20m (wide) x 20m (tall) x 5m (deep). Due to the nature of the bandages, bypassing the wall would require a strike from a weapon or a jutsu, either Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Bukijutsu of equal or greater strength. The barrier is unable to be cut by purely physical means however, with the woven silk distributing the force of the strike along its length and disperse the force of the cut or strike. The bandage wall is self sustaining, so once the wall is destroyed, the user must must simply create another if they so choose to.

The weights can weigh almost anything and is completely dependent on what the wearer wishes to accomplish by wearing them, additional weight seals can be placed on the weights to make them even heavier. The weights appearance can come in different forms but are usually long pale colored iron braces that have the word for "weight" in smaller compartments for each of the weights that the braces hold. They can also be a completely different article of clothing such as armor or a head band. The downside to the training weights is that they reduce the speed of the user, however once the user grows accustomed to them they are able to still move at astounding speeds even with them on. When removed, the user feels incredibly light and will find that their speed, strength, and reflexes have drastically increased from their training.
