Aburame |
VILLAGE:--Konoha ORIGIN: -- Unknown CLAN HISTORY: -- Long ago the Aburame were little more then wild savages. No goals or ambition just nearly mindless animals in human flesh. They had no real means to thrive aside from slaughter which they were only marginally good at when compared to their contemporaries. It wasn't until Rinko Aburame, a young girl of only 8, found a bug in the dirt. The strange bug seemed to call out to her and as she picked the strange bug up, the bug burrowed into her skin and took over her body. Under the thrall of the strange bug she planted more and more strange bugs in her many siblings. As more and more people became hosts for these bugs, their minds cleared and they began to share one hive mind. Soon the entire Aburame clan came to be under the thrall of these bugs. For some reason when they tried to put the bugs in members from another clan or no clan the bug and host died. This is how the Aburame came to have the parasitic bond witht he Kakaichu. After what the Aburame call the unifying Calm, The clan started to learn to utilize their insect parasites. The seen learned that the bugs ate their chakra and they learned to manipulate them through that. This unique style of jutsu made the Aburame targets for clans trying to duplicate their bond. Many of their shinobi were kidnapped and dissected and on more than one occasion their queen killed or worse. For decades the Aburame traversed the continent, searching for a place to call home. During their travles the Aburame came to garner a reputation for their ability to gather and use information though mostly to ensure their own survival. For generations the Aburame eeked ot a "life" by being one step ahead of those that would hunt and attack them. Due to the dozens of times the queen had been killed or taken the clan adapted by losing their hive mind. This was a dark time for the Aburame as for the first time they had no home or a "leader". The clan instinctually looked to their newest queen for guidance but she too was devastated by the loss of the hive mind. A particularly strong member of the clan made up his mind to join with another clan as allies, and form a bond with them in hopes of ensuring gthir survival, That's when the Aburame clan made their way to the Vast forests of The land of fire and to the door steps of the Sarutobi clan, Who showed up in force to meet the clan. After months of deliberation and negotiations the Aburame were allowed to live in the Forest so long as they helped protect it and didn't harm any animals. The clan agreed and they set up their new permenant home in the Forest of Konoha, witht he Sarutobi clan as their protectors. For generations the Aburame clan grew and expanded their underground compound, carefully to not hurt the roots of the forest in the process. The clan grew under the sarutobi's protection and in time the clan was back to it's former glory both is size and ability. They became the information network the Sarutobi counted on to give advanced warning for attacks and geographical input. When the ten tails attacked and the shinobi world came together to confront it, the aburame were pivitol in the destruction of the clones and organzing the various squads and ascertaining the enemies weakness and strengths. They saved many lives simply by having the right information at the right time and this garnered the Aburame a great deal of respect with in the land of fire and what would later become the Village hidden in the leaves. Even to this day the Aburame clan compound is a series of maze like tunnles under the village they use to gather and disperse information through out Konoha. CLAN IDEOLOGY: -- FOR THE HIVE!! The Aburame clan more than most respect rank and order. They are the worker bugs that work for the betterment of the whole. When the clan was on it's own they worked for the survival of the queen as that needed to be their top priority. After the gained the protection of the Sarutobi clan they learned the strength of allies in their own ways. The assimilated the idea of others into their hive mentality and started to work to their betterment as well. The aburame clan are considered one of the noble houses of the Leaf village and that also has a play in their way of thinking as well. While still being the worker bee's they under stand their workers are respected and as such have to behave in a proper way and as such are encouraged to do so. CLAN ABILITIES: -- crazy bugs: Bikōchū: The bikōchū is an insect that was once used by the Aburame clan in the great ninja wars. It was becoming an endangered species, however, so they let it live in a special bug habitat, uninhabited by humans. Two of the female's distinguishing traits are its long nose and its blue eyes, but a giant bug-like creature that looks exactly like it is sometimes confused with the real thing. It also has an incredible sense of smell, stronger than even that of a dog. Kidaichū : The kidaichū are a species of beetle-like insects that are bred and utilised by select members of the Aburame clan as part of their Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique. Though initially small in size, if provided with the incorrect amount of chakra, these insects immediately begin to devour the flesh of their host, causing them to undergo rapid growth to ultimately giant proportions. Kikaichū: The kikaichū are a species of small, beetle-like insects that are bred and utilised exclusively by the Aburame clan, forming the basis for their unique techniques. The bugs have the ability to adapt and become immune to various conditions and elemental hazards as well as their rapic consumption of chakra from their target. Shōkaichū : The shōkaichū are one of several species of insect used by members of the Aburame clan. They resemble worms. They can dig into the ground and locate chakra signatures that they then report the positions of back to their respective Aburame. Bug Brained: The Aburame can communicate with their host bugs and their host bugs can speak to other bugs. So in a round about way the Aburame have the ability to speak to other bugs through their host bugs. This allows them to gather information and even set traps based on bugs information. CLAN HIERARCHY: -- The fact that the all share a hive mind puts the aburame in a odd position as far as hierarchy is concerned. The only way to put it is that the Aburame have a queen, who Is the only one capable of producing more queen kakaichi. She places these bugs in the children of the aburame and they join the hive. When one queen dies, the whole clan feels the sense of loss and in that conjoined sadness a new queen emerges to take her place. Becaause of this the queen is never a combatant, even if she was one before becoming queen. MEMBERS: Clan Leader: Clan Heir: Clan Member: Clan Member: |
