The technique does this not by transferring chakra directly into the body, but by connecting the spiritual energies of two people. Once these energies are connected, the chakra of the individuals naturally comes together as a composite reality. This creates what the Hagoromo refer to as the Universal Soul, a temporary reality of shared chakra that is governed a single spirit. It is this "Universal Soul" that the Hagoromo priests pray to when using Ninshū — Secrets of the Priesthood. The technique is only able to target one person at a time, but does not require physical contact. it has a small range of five meters as well, and it should be noted that the connection established by the technique can be resisted and repelled. Because of the nature of the technique, this isn't particularly difficult; however, once the connection has been established, a telepathic link forms between everyone apart of the Universal Soul. It should also be noted that when the caster connects to a target, the range of the technique will also include their body.
