Kami no Setsuri

NAME: Kami no Setsuri [Divine Providence] WEAPON TYPE: Sword RANK: A APPEARANCE: It takes the form of a sleek, medium-sized chokutō. The hilt's grip, which has a gentle black and silver decorative wrapping, juts out at the end at a sharp edge and lacks a pommel. Two silver wires dangle from its base, connected at a double, silver leaf charm that matches Mugen's earrings. The tsuba is silver and one-pronged jutting out in a point on the same side as the grip. The blade's hamon is straight, colored black with a silver edge, and is somewhat thicker than the usual weapon used for the day. It remains straight and slim with a somewhat medium size, with the tip ending in a slanted razor-like edge instead of tapering to a point. The blade is made up of many chakra conductive metal, as well as the hilt grip and scabbard, able to be used in conjunction with his sword in battle. ABILITIES: The Blade is extremely durable and sharp, able to combat any A-rank and lower weapon without losing vitality or prowess. It is also quite sharp, able to cut through solid stone unaided. The sword and scabbard are also durable enough to withstand A-rank attacks with no signs of withering or damage. Kami no Setsuri's blade is produced of a special-made metal that can be infused through "chakra flow" with elemental chakra or even Yin–Yang chakra to produce added effects. According to Mugen, the blade is able to absorb the chakra type of the user, and become the origin of many techniques making it the perfect combination with Mugen's own Killing Stroke Style which focuses on fusing chakra in one's weapon constantly during battle.

Do they just withstand or block techniques of A rank? Like will it still go past the weapon and damage the user?

When you say it gives added effects depending on the chakra, are you making jutsu for these or do I need to ask for examples?

~The blade acts as any normal weapon. It, itself, can withstand attacks of the A-rank or below but it doesn't cast up a barrier or anything. If the surface area of an attack is enough to eclipse Mugen's own body, yes, it will go past the blade and effect the user.

~Pretty much the chakra applied to it results in its effects. For instance, Mugen's Killing Stroke Style uses oscillating wind currents to attack an opponent. The sword will be able to shoot of such attacks so long as a jutsu is made for it. The sword is simply the gun, the user gives it it's bullets (chakra) but all techniques used through the weapon must be kenjutsu specific bukijutsu approved before use.
