APPEARANCE HEIGHT 5'1" WEIGHT 98lbs Short, but ready to row as she ages, like most 10 year olds. Mai is athletic, and toned, like many ninja become, with the few exceptions. Her skin is of a light colour, as she's spent very little time under the desert sun, or outside of the walls of Sunagakure, when she does she's hidden underneath a cloak. Her hair is kept neat and tidy, her bangs brushed to the side for a gentle sway, without a strand out of place, held by a white bow on the top left side of her head. In the back it's flipped up at the center. Her eyes are of a blue colour. She doesn't really tan, but simply burns, then peels. Mai has a few different dressing styles, depending on who 'Mai' is at the given moment. Luckily for the sake of looking a little less pyschotic, many share the similar taste in clothing. Black dresses with adorning white on it, mostly with frill though they're occasionally skipped. There's almost always a big white bow stuck in her rather dark hair. Tights, and simple little dress shoes are what she likes aesthetically. Sometimes, during her rare social times, she'll wear loose pants and a hooded sweater, often up despite the heat, or robings that help protect her from the heat. Makeup. Mai is actually quite skilled at makeup, and when a ninja it shines. By making her face and skin all a singular tone with a small grain pattern, and lines beneath her eyes and and at the corner of her mouths. Her eyes stare widely, slightly off targed, and her arms just kind of, hang there. With quick, sudden jittery movements, and a well hidden noise maker, she looks, sounds, moves, and acts like a puppet with meticulously practiced pantomiming. While like this, Mai will hide beneath a cloak, and on her shoulders, will be placed her 'face', or the puppet that pretends to be the 'ninja' This 'ninja' is her personal puppet, crafted by herself, and takes the place as her. It's placed with vinyl, covering the joints of the neck and mouth, has, while a dead stare, glass eyes to look realistic. Mai will often make the puppet look like it's controlling her, to create an eerie, rather uncanny valley effect between the two. At any given time, she'll hide beneath this, very rarely venturing out as her 'true self', possibly tricking even those she's teammates with. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY NINDO Mai, or possibly moreso 'Mai' with quotations is an odd individual, in that this little girl possesses, or maybe is possessed by not 1, or 2 other personalities, but 5 unique personalities, which are almost individuals all their own. Most have either no care, or the same fashion taste as one another, making their physicals differences minimal, besides expressions. Each one has their own set of triggers, that when pushed will result in that one coming out. All but one are secretive of their condition, though an observant individual may pick out the differences. Things they share in commons. Each personality views the others as a close sibling. They talk to one another, argue, fight, keep secrets give advice, and play pranks on one another, even Mae. Each have a tendency to absentmindedly draw near perfect circles of varying sizes, resulting in their room being covered in the drawings. Their fidgeting tends to result in drawing one continuously in the dirt, or just tracing one with the finger. From top to bottom, are the order of frequency the personalities. Leading off, the one mostly in control of the body, if only marginally, is Mai, whom took their birth name for her own. Mai is antisocial, and easily frustrated at others, though that may simply reflect her own frustration towards her shyness, finding it difficult to communicate with others how she feels, and misinterprets others words if the implied meanings are subtle, instead of direct. Mai often says things she doesn't mean when she becomes overwhelmed. Because of this she finds it hard to make and keep friends. She's largely still a child, with a liking for bitter treats, and colourful objects. In combat, Mai is a more typical puppeteer, preferring tricks and deception. Second up to bat is Ron. Ron is boisterous, a bit, and quite the social butterfly, loving interaction between others, and tries to make as many friends as he can. Unfortunately, for him, it's hard to keep friends, with Abi and Mai around a lot. Despite this, he's optimistic to a fault, and genuinely friendly, and really doesn't like to battle, though when he does, his aim is often guerilla tactics to further his squad's goals. Ron likes to think of himself as a lover, not a figher, and will often take a chance to try and charm someone. As you've likely guessed, Ron is the only male among the personalities. The ace, Abi, is third up. Abi is a piece of work, acting, thinking, and talking much like an adult. She sports picturesque manners at the dinner table, doesn't really like candies, though will often accept a cup of coffee, though just from trusted sources, as she's rather paranoid. Whiel Abi will speak with easily broken base line respect, which once lost, is nigh impossible to get back. It'll be hard to gain actual respect from her, as she really is just putting on an act. In actuality, Abi observes everyone in her vicinity with acute detail, in order to further her own means, but honestly couldn't care less about anyone unles they can benefit her, and will feel zero regret if they die. By her hand, or otherwise. In battle, she's a chessmaster, often planning several moves ahead, and measuring at the very least twice if she'is in a hurry, before leaping. Then finally is Mae, the cleanup. Mae is a viscious, territorial, angry little monster, that will engage on any target in her viciinity with extreme prejudice. Mae has very little actual personality, beyond being angry, and if she's in a 'good' mood, you might get a guttural growl. Though to the other 3, Mae is insulting, and rude, just remember how she really feels about them. Mae will come out if someone makes Mai cry. In the rare chance you find a calm way to bring her out, Mae has a tranquil fury, and while she'll talk, albeit in as rude a manner as she can, it will be calm, but drenched with malice, and it's not hard to tell that all she wants to do is kill something. Naturally, the others keep this one in check as best as they can. Though no one can forget the bench warmer Circle, or if you want to get her attention, Circle-Chan. Useless in battle, Circle comes out, when the others aren't paying attention, often usurping Mae. Circle is a girl of simple tastes, as a sloppy eater, and likes the word Circle, hence her name. 'Cirrricle, Cirrrcle,' is her mantra, which she repeats periodically. She wanders around in a daze, ignorant of those around her, and while she'll avoid ramming into stationary objects, she'll walk straight into others. And if they don't get out of the way, Circle will simply keep leaning into them until they do so, with increasingly sad sounding 'cirrrrrcle's. Ye be warned, as Circle is the easiest of them all to let Mae out. If someone that Ron and Mai don't trust moves her against her will, Mae will come out. Circle is special though. By either speaking 'Circle-Chan' or with a snap of the fingers you gain her attention. She'll answer simple questions, and perform simple tasks, though more complex ones are beyond her. You can also ask to talk to one of the other personaities, but only if you ask for them by name. | ||||||||
