Depending on the quantity of items sealed, as well as size, determines how much chakra Kanka has to donate. Due to this Kanka often will create his tags in mass quantities at once, and thus expend a large amount of chakra, instead of constantly draining from his own supply in the heat of battle. It takes roughly one [1] second to seal one tag, three [3] seconds for small weaponry like shuriken, kunai and senbon, seven [7] seconds for standard katanas and similar sized blades, and ten [10] seconds for anything larger. "I solemnly swear"]. His hands radiating his kindness chakra aura Kanka will then clasp hands with another, his hand on top while the recipient's is on the bottom. Upon Kanka's command his chakra will tattoo the kanji 接 ["jō;" lit. "touch"] upon the recipient's palm, illuminating the extremity accompanied by a very brief but intense heat. Recipients at this point may then apply the seal to those they wish via the kanji on their palm, though they must first have initiated a connection with Kanka so he may channel his chakra through the seal. It should be noted that only those who willingly desire to communicate with the sealer, be it Kanka or someone else, may receive the seal. Kanka will then proceed to touch the recipient's cheek with his palm, causing the kanji 語 ["go;" lit. "speak"] to be tattooed. By touching the "touch" kanji to the "speak" kanji, the seal bearer may communicate with anyone else bearing the seals as long as they reside within jōdo ["pure world;" "human realm], regardless of distance; the greater the distance the more chakra will be required to maintain contact. By expending a moderate amount of chakra Kanka or another seal bearer may project an iridescent chakra-hologram of themselves to others who bear the seal [no more than five [6] others at one time]; while projecting to all seal bearers requires only a moderate amount of chakra, sending a hologram to a specific seal bearer has a slightly higher cost due to the focus needed to hone in on one specific seal bearer. Initially it would appear to a seal bearer as if they are watching the person they are communicating with from a distance; until another seal bearer chooses to receive a "call" the hologram projection will produce no sounds, nor allow any communication to occur. Due to the nature of this technique, it cannot be used in combat situations where one is involved in physical combat. In particular this control manifested as a sieve of sorts, normally preventing Kanka's kindess chakra aura from emanating from his body at all times, instead only manifesting when his life was in peril. Now as a veteran shinobi Kanka can use this technique to dampen his chakra aura from radiating, essentially trapping his chakra in a minute layer of chakra [akin to wearing under armor during the cold season to prevent heat loss], thus forcing his kindness chakra to cling to his body, appearing as if he is heavily perspiring. This also masks him from chakra sensory methods as long as he does not use any techniqes requiring chakra, otherwise cancelling this masking effect immediately. Perhaps the more heinous application of this seal is not one Kanka is aware of; upon Kanka's death the elaborate fūinjutsu will remove itself from his back and chest, attempting to attach itself to another chakra source within 10m. Should this be successsful the seal will take all of Kanka's chakra and forcefully inject it into the foreign chakra-source. While this is no way revives Kanka or any of his memories or knowledge, it transfers his chakra aura to a new host should the seal be able to attach itself to one. With this a small portion of Kanka's personality remains as it is heavily intwined with his kindness chakra aura, most notably his kindess and compassion. OOC NOTE: This in no way revives Kanka in a new body. It is solely the vestiges of his personlity embued in his chakra aura. At most, should the seal be successful in acquiring a "new body" said person (or potentially animal) will gain Kanka's style of fighting. That is to say, the newly affected vessel will be unable to engage in combat of their own volition unless an attempt to attack them is initiated first (as is the case with Kanka). Like its parent technique Kanka will begin to sending a supple amount of his chakra as a pulse throughout his body by performing a special handseal (SAGE); even from dozens of meters away one can observe Kanka's body momentarily increase in girth as if he suddenly weighed many tons, creating a small 1m wide x 1m deep crater where he stands. This reaction is actually his chakra aura condensing to incredible pressure underneath his skin. Once again Kanka will send another pulse of chakra through his body unto which a loud cracking sound, followed by a cringeworthy rip, will resound; this is Kanka's skin literally cracking and tearing under the intense pressure of the contained chakra. Within moments a great burst of mist-like chakra, the same jetblack-purple and sunset-orange hue of his aura, will burst forth from the numerous cracks on his skin. The chakra-aura mist will then proceed to envelop Kanka in a 10m radius, obscurring him from view, the only telltale sign is a very faint silhouette illuminated by the soft purple and orange aura. The chakra-aura mist will float around the entirety of Kanka's body. While unnoticeable to the natural eye (except chakra-viewing Dōjutsu and sensors), Kanka's kindness chakra aura has been condensed and concentrated to that of fresh molassus; due to the heavily concentrated state of the chakra, The pacifying effects of Kanka's kindness chakra aura are increased tenfold. As such this allows Kanka to severely hamper and even halt the motion of physical bodies (i.e. humans, animals, etc). almost to a standstill upon entering the cloud of his kindness chakra aura. Should an opponent get caught within the technique as it's activated, their movements would be synonymous to being trapped in a jello-mold of molassus, forcing even the fastest of Taijutsu user to travel as if moving in slow motion. Within the affected area everything will appear as if it has been obliterated by an intense white nothingness; entering the field causes all objects without a chakra signature to appear as if they have vanished completely. Anyone within the field can clearly see Kanka, as well as any others with a chakra signature;, however one's primary five senses are lessened while within the area of the chakra-mist sea. To those without chakra-sensing abilities, the vast sea of kindness chakra will make it seem as if time and space are heavily distorted; this is due to the fact that those within the affected area no longer have any physical landmarks to judge distance or depth. Those capable of performing jutsu while within the kindness chakra sea are still capable of doing so (with the exception of Kanka, who may only use leg-based Taijutsu B-rank and below); however, while within the range of the technique depth perception will be severely distorted. Kanka is able to know exactly where a source is as long as it is within the technique's field. Unlike conventional shielding techniques which are purely defensive, this method takes a combined approach, being defensive in an offensive approach, attempting to intercept the oncoming attack with full and equal force. Upon seeing an attack launched, Kanka will send a surge of chakra into the chakra-aura mist, which will then form into giant hands of concentrated chakra. These great hands will attempt to grasp the oncoming attack and smother it. As Kanka is able to adjust the density of the chakra-aura mist, he may also theoretically use the arms to hold an opponent in place, requiring a force equal to or higher than that of this technique to break free. Due to the intense concentration needed, the only movement Kanka may perform is turning his head or shifting his body slightly for a better angle if needed; however any form of walking, running, fighting, etc will automatically cause the arms to evaporate and disperse the chakra-aura mist. After first applying his [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique] seal above a willing target's heart, Kanka will then proceed to channel a large portion of his chakra into the seal using a unique handseal (SAGE). It should be noted that unlike the parent fūinjutsu, Kanka temporarily disables the seal's property of destroying whatever is marked after using up the stored chakra, as the purpose of this technique is solely to provide as external source of Kanka's chakra to muffle and distort that of another ninja. Doing so effectively masks the affected target in question by temporarily overwhelming their chakra with his own. While in no way harmful to the affected, this causes the chakra signature of one marked to essentially disappear from all sensory methods; Kanka's chakra, however becomes more prominent almost like a beacon, making him notably easier to pick up via chakra sensing. At most Kanka may mark and mask up to nine individual, this putting a great deal of strain on Kanka's chakra; if the maximum number of subjects are marked, Kanka's chakra will appear to chakra sensors as a blinding light, clearly marking his presence. Whilst under Kanka's protection, any marked are unable to use any techinques which utilize chakra, or forfeit their camouflage as a result. By performing a special handseal (SAGE) Kanka will activate the chakra stored within any of the [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique] seals on those Kanka has placed the seal upon; unlike its parent technique the activated chakra does not retain its one-time explosive properties, instead acting as a transmitter for Kanka's chakra. When Kanka's chakra is resonating with another willing seal bearer (up to, but no more than, nine [9] individuals), Kanka is able to temporarily impose his masterful chakra control on others. This effectively allows ninja with massive chakra pools but horrible chakra control to temporarily, while resonating with Kanka, benefit from his masterful chakra control, allowing said ninja to launch volleys of attacks without wasting any energy whatsoever. Each seal bearer Kanka connects to places notably more strain on his ability to regulate another's chakra; being connected to any number of seal bearers ensures Kanka cannot engage in any combat due to the sheer concentration required to perform such a task. Kanka's chakra presence when using this technique has been described to him by others as a sudden sensation of drowning followed a calming clarity and sharpness. What makes this technique even more useful in combat is Kanka's ability to mould his kindness chakra aura to adapt to another person's specific chakra type. Doing so allows Kanka to envelop any who bear the [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique] seal a smaller version of Kanka's Onjō no Reishi ["Aura of Kindness and Compassion"], effectively granting any seal bearer the passive ability of Kanka's calming, kindness chakra-aura, albeit at a reduced radius of only 2m. Due to the nature of the seals Kanka needn't use additional external connections such as chakra strings to maintain the effects of the technique. However, as the range of this technique is 100m, any seal bearers who leave that range will lose the benefits this technique grants. Until this technique is cancelled or Kanka runs out of chakra, any who fall out of range when the technique was initiated can not regain the benefits. In order to help prevent this situation, Kanka will often give any seal bearers a 100m bundled length of thin gossamer silk attached to his knuckles; upon a seal bearer exceeding the 100m range the silk will snap, alerting Kanka someone has gone out of range. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sennin: Bujinireiki [Immortal Mountain Wizard: Safe and Sound Aura] RANK: A TECHNIQUE TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Yōton | Yang Release CHAKRA USAGE:-- REQUIREMENT: Chakra Aura SA DESCRIPTION: -- A powerful technique when used in the right situations, yet very easy in application. Activated simply by performing a special handseal (SAGE) and saying onjō ["aura of kindness"] to focus his chakra, Kanka will call forth his “golden” aura in a concentrated mass around him, giving him the appearance of a glowing, golden, heavenly-esque being. When activated Kanka's aura of kindness extends up to 50m in every direction including any space above and below him; Kanka must remain stationary in order to do so. The primary purpose of this technique is to flood a space, be it the air above, earth or even water, with Kanka’s aura of kindness. Due to the nature of his chakra, Kanka’s chakra seeps into a space temporarily occupying said space. As well, due to this nature, one must be protected by some manner or form of chakra-repellent material, if even just raw chakra itself (such as the Hyūga clan's [Rotation] technique, albeit this is only a temporary protection) to be unaffected. This effectively reduces anger and violent tendencies, typically stopping said behaviors in their tracks, as well as producing a sensation comparable, but less overwhelming, to a euphoria, bliss or high. It should be noted that this does not force or cause one to drop their guard. The pacifying effects of Kanka's aura are not resolute, however; should any affected persons in the area be attacked in any way by another not affected by this technique, the technique will cancel, breaking its hold on the affected being attacked. Kanka is able to manipulate his aura in a similar, yet less tailored and precise, manner to the Nara’s shadow manipulation techniques; by condensing and concentrating his aura on one specific area, Kanka is able to even subdue a bijū. Kanka’s golden aura in no way allows him to seal a bijū or boss-level summon; however, by effectively creating a heavy concentration of his aura, Kanka can subdue such a creature for some time at an extreme cost to his chakra pool. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sennin: Gakijizaihō [Immortal Mountain Wizard: Hungry Ghost Earthly Vices Liberation] RANK: A TECHNIQUE TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Yōton | Yang Release CHAKRA USAGE: High - Very High REQUIREMENT: karanohoshi: ijokotsuinaki; sennin: bujinireiki; sennin: shibuitonji butaiuchi DESCRIPTION: -- Much like its parent this technique is activated simply by performing a short string of special handseals (SAGE, CONFRONT, SIN, ANGER, FIGHT). Holding the last seal of this particular sequence will begin to flood the giant seal on Kanka's back and chest with his kindness chakra aura, temporarily weakening the restraining effect, allowing his chakra to become much more concentrated. After roughly seven [7] seconds the kindness chakra will have manifested into no more than a tensome [10] of worm-like constructs, seemingly emanating from his very skin and clothing. Each worm-like chakra construct is roughly the width of a grown man's shoulders while being able to extend up to 40m in any direction. While holding a special handseal (CONFRONT), Kanka may freely direct each worm-construct to move as he pleases; while Kanka is more than capable of traveling while using this technique, he cannot engage in direct combat nor use any other techniques while maintaining this one. Due to the composition of the worm-like constructs being almost entirely chakra, in particular the spiritual energy, the chakra is considerably unstable. Therefore, the constructs are naturally drawn towards physical energy of others, appearing to chase a target. Once within range Kanka can then proceed to have the kindness aura worm-constructs attack a target, appearing to grow teeth out of nowhere (but in reality is actually Kanka's kindness chakra condensed to a solid state) and bite said target. While no physical wounds are visible nor created, the worm-constructs will slowly drain the target's physical energy, slowly filling the target's chakra coil with Kanka's kindness chakra aura with each attack. Unlike the parent technique, [Immortal Mountain Wizard: Safe and Sound Aura], the pacifying effects of Kanka's kindness chakra aura are not instantaneous, requiring a few minutes for each injection (attack) to effect one's chakra coil. As with the parent technique, should any affected persons in the area be attacked in any way by another not affected by this technique, the technique will cancel, breaking its hold on the affected being attacked. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sennin: Jōdojunkoshi [Immortal Mountain Wizard: Pure World Innocence Withering] RANK: A TECHNIQUE TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Yōton | Yang Release CHAKRA USAGE: Very High REQUIREMENT: ongaben shukan no jutus; sennin: bujinireiki DESCRIPTION: -- A rather innovative and highly unconventional use of his kindness chakra aura, this technique was originally created to serve as a counter for the forbidden [Summoning: Impure World Resurrection] technique. Having heard of the legendary attrocities this technique was capable of Kanka was determined to create a counter; at the request of the Yondaime Mizukage, Yuki Nanami, Kanka was granted permission to read the logistics of how the technique works. After performing a couple special handseals (GOD, RELEASE) Kanka will cause his [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique] fūinjutsu shiki ["formula"] to take the form of the kanji phrase 不通静止 [futsūseishi, lit. "cessation repose"], multiplying itself and expanding, transmogrifying and solidifying in a sword-like manner. This effectively creates a blade from the stretched and skewed formula, extending 1⁄2m from Kanka's forearms, made purely from his kindness chakra aura, its sharpened shape and extreme density being stronger than steel. The cutting potential of such a technique is comparable to an elementally-enhanced blade, being able to slip through iron and steel quite easily with a solid swing. The more unique aspect of this technique regards the effects if it were to be used on someone resurrected by the [Summoning: Impure World Resurrection] technique. When the kindness chakra-aura formula-blade stikes a chakra construct, the formula-blade injects a large quanity of Kanka's kindness chakra aura in a burst-like fashion. This process disrupts the stability of the chakra construct, thus rendering it useless and in most cases will end a chakra-based technique. It should be noted that unlike the parent fūinjutsu, Kanka temporarily disables the seal's property of destroying whatever is marked after using up the stored chakra, as the purpose of this technique is to override's one's chakra coil with his kindness chakra aure to create temporary submission. After Kanka's kindness chakra aura has flooded the marked target's chakra coil, he can then will the target to slow [medium chakra] or even halt [high chakra] their movements using another special handseal (SAGE) Should the target be strong-willed enough to resist the initial submission, Kanka may then proceed by using a final special handseal (GOD), completely flooding the chakra coil to such an extent [very high chakra] that the sheer overwhelming pacifying effect brings a target to their knees, as their mind begins to feel "foggy" and drained while the body is perceived to suddenly weigh many tons. To release a marked target from the effects of this technique Kanka merely perform the snake handseal. A sudden, massive burst of chakra such as that granted by opening the Eight Gates, Chakra-enhanced Strength, Bijū chakra, or other similar methods can release one from the pacifying effects of Kanka's chakra aura. Kanka is unable to compell marked target to do any other explicit actions against their will; it should be noted that while Kanka is more than capable of marking multiple individuals with little effort using his [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique] seal, using this technique on multiple high-level ninja can quickly exhaust him and prove fatal. Kanka will first use his [Graceful Crown Subjectivity Technique] to mark any inanimate object he wishes to act as anchors for the clones, being able to create no more than five [5] at one time; the clones may travel no further than 30m from an anchor or they will disperse, returning any remaining unused chakra back to Kanka. If he so chooses Kanka may mark more than one anchor to ensure the clones' survival. Since the anchors are generally objects already present such as large boulders or trees, should an anchor be destroyed whatever clone is attached to that anchor will automatically be destroyed; if all of the clones are attached to one anchor than all clones created will be destroyed upon the anchor's destruction. After marking his desired anchors Kanka will perform a special handseal (CONFRONT), channeling a massive amount of chakra into the anchors, regardless of number, from which the clones will then emerge. Unlike elemental clones or other similar variations, the clones created from this technique are notably different as they are not initiallly created with a physical body, instead having a physical anchor in the form of some inanimate object such as a rock or tree from which chakra in shaped and projected. Due to the clones lacking a true corporal body, the clones are merely projections of chakra shaped and formed to have a general appearance of Kanka. To unaided eyes, including Kanka's, the clones appear as mere smoke-like whisps of orange and purple seeimingly emanating from an unseen source. Those capable of seeing chakra will see the clones as human-esque masses of burnt-orange and jetblack-purple chakra, though they ultimately lack any real form or shape. As well, chakra sensors will see a slightly varied from of the clones, viewing what appears to be an inverted color variant of Kanka. It should be noted that while one may be able to see or sense the clones, the clones' skill is based off of Kanka's own and as such keeping up with them is determined by one's own physcal ability. The clones are capable of engaging in basic close combat (punches, kicks, headbutts, biting, etc.) as well as using any non-chakra based Taijutsu Kanka may know. Due to the nature of the clones any non-chakra based techniques (i.e. Taijutsu, Bukijutsu) are completely ineffective, as the clone can simply reform if it takes a fatal blow due to the anchor still remaining intact; however, high-ranked [A; S] strikes [Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, etc.] can temporarily disrupt clones, while multiple powerful attacks in a brief period can dispel a clone entirely. Like one of its parents, the [Shadow Clone Technique], the clones can move independently without needing Kanka's explict control, but they do require commands to recilitate actions beyond basic fighting (i.e. go after so and so, defend this area, etc.). Performing the seal of confrontation, Kanka will begin to build up a massive amount of chakra, all the while channeling it through the entirety of Jūka, lasting roughly ten seconds. He will then releasing said chakra, causing massive amounts of cloth to erupt from the cloth bolts stored with Jūka, creating an ethereal, billowing sheet extending in a 25m radius. Initially appearing as a floating black-and-white stripped curtain, the large quantity of cloth will quickly form into A LARGE DOME AROUND KANKA, COMPOSED OF HUNDRED OF SMALL HEXAGON-SHAPED STRUCTURES, appearing a very milky white. It is not the numerous amount of hexagons which make up the dome that make it such a powerful defense; between each hexagon is a chainmail like sheet comprised of chakra-silk. By condensing the chakra surrounding each individual hexagon, and adding sticky properties to it akin to other silk techniques within the Waruichi clan, the chakra acts as a thick layer of flexible chainmail. The condensed web-like silk, besides being sticky, acts as a buffer of sorts; the hexagons are all separated by a mere 5cm of unprotected space, occupied by the chainmail-chakra holding the dome together. While the space is incredibly miniscule, a Jōnin could fit a kunai or other such tool in the crack, assuming another can spot the small chink, let alone throw a weapon with enough force to bypass the sticky chakra. Coming in contact with the chakra creates no ill effects to anyone. Kanka is able to counter assaults on the small areas of space by smashing any given area of hexagons together to form a less vulnerable defense; however, he must first be able to see the attack he is countering in order to react according. Otherwise the dome will take the hit head on, and repair itself as needed. The most unique feature of the dome is what the Yondaime Mizukage coined Jigoku no Me ["Eye of Hell"], in which Kanka will open a section of the dome by folding sections of the hexagons over each other. This allows any allies or clones the chance to attack while Kanka continues focusing on defense. These gaps can range in size anywhere from 1dm to allow for small weapons like kunai and shuriken, to many meters allowing a volley of jutsu or weaponry to be released. Due to the gaps causing a disruption in Jūka's ability to maintain its harmonic resonance, lest the area opened collapse, gaps may be open no longer than a minute at any given time. Due to the sheer control needed to do so, Kanka must wait twice the amount of time a gap is kept open to regain complete resonance again. There is no limit as to how many gaps Kanka may create a gap at any given time, but the less time a gap is open, the more he can create. Due to the massive concentration and chakra this technique requires, Kanka may not use any other form of jutsu, as well as having to remain stationary (disregarding shifting his footing or body position), as long as the technique remains active.
