It is one of the non-combat abilities that Moeru possesses that he believes to b on the same level of his genjutsu and ninjutsu, as it allows him to more easily manipulate those around him. With his words, his tone, his intent, his semantics, his bravado, Moeru is able to cause self-doubt to creep into the minds of others. He can turn people’s attention towards the more negative aspects of themselves, causing emotions such as sadness and feelings such as lethargy to creep into a person’s body. He can produce internal conflict, or even degrade morale, or tickle the dark lusts of allies and enemies alike, sometimes triggering responses in the process. Often times, Moeru’s words will take time to cause things to happen, usually lingering in the minds of those who have heard him speak. However, because these effects vary from person to person (meaning that the role player of the character is the ultimate determining factor) the effects of his words can also be rather immediate. He has paralyzed enemies before, and has taken others out of the fight with his mind games. And even still, he has wholly convinced others to abandon their loyalties and causes. When combined with his Power of Life ability, it has produced effects profound enough to sway people towards him; this being the secret to how he built Karasugakure no Sato. The Power of Life The tongue also possesses the power to speak life into the lives of other sentient beings. This grants Moeru the ability to increase a persons morale, to make their day feel fundamentally better when talking to him, to flood the person’s mind with flattery (such as what happens when two people “click”), to produce positive emotions within others (or some semblance of it at least), to feed their ego, and etcetera. People who experience this side of Moeru will come away feeling rejuvenated, remembering the moment with him as somehow fundamentally different from their interactions with other. Moreover, the fact that he is actually a kind and gentleman-ly sort of figure boosts this ability even more. Of course, this ability varies from person-to-person just as the Power of Death (same parameters), but due to its increased potency, it usually remains more consistent, and the effects are typically more immediate. He has, on many more occasions than not, been able to talk his way out of situations; and more so by just being himself than trying to manipulate the person. He has also mastered the RPG-hero-character art of acquiring allies in the moment, where he (upon seeing someone in trouble or either being in trouble himself) can convince someone to team up with him in order to tackle an obstacle, even if only for a moment. Pheromone Manipulation As it happens, Moeru’s pheromones aren't actually pheromones in the technical sense. Rather, by combining his life force with Ninjutsu, he has created microscopic parasitic creatures that act as pheromones, affecting their host body’s behaviors by simulating things such as hormonal responses through their bodily secretions. On their own, the pheromones are not strong enough to overpower a person’s will; however, by changing a person’s will and/or emotional state of being to agree with the desired effect of the pheromones, the influence becomes substantially more powerful, such that the will could be potentially overridden. The pheromones can also be used crowd control, causing riots and protests, the formation of militia, the triggering of mass socializing, and etcetera.
