 SHŌ'S SINGLE PUPPETS |
NAME: Matoryōshika WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: A APPEARANCE: Shō's older brother created the puppet, its design based upon a peculiar toy that opened up to reveal a smaller replica of itself, and that replica opened up to reveal another, and another, and so on, while also making use of the idea of seppuku. The puppet appears like a futuristic samurai, and is a titan, standing at 15ft in height. However, once it breaks down, it's next layer is 11ft, then 7ft, then 5ft. Its swords also grow shorter in respect to the puppet's size. It is totally metallic, from its armor to its body. ABILITIES: Matoryōshika partly inspired Yuji's design, being a self-sufficient "cooperative" puppet of perhaps the highest caliber, while also being extremely formidable in close-combat. Essentially one puppet covered in three layers, Matoryōshika's primary mechanism is for its top layer to experience a "frontward explosion", where the front portion of the layer shatters into shards/needles about a quarter of an inch thick, piercing the target these shards travel tell feet from the explosion. The needles are saturated with both Jiton chakra, being highly magnetized, transferring their magnetism to the body of the target so long as contact is maintained. Then, the back of the layer can be fired towards the target, tracking them until it makes contact. Once contact is made, the layer locks against the target's body, robbing them of their ability to move through magnetic disruption of the nervous system. In terms of durability, the puppet's armor presents consistent defense against attacks that ranked lower than B-rank, only showing damage after two successful direct hits. A-ranks will shown immediate signs of damage, but moderately so. The speed of the puppet, however, increases with each layer that is shed, where the core is able to bother Taijutsu specialists with its base speed. Its legs are obviously formed for movement, which is bolstered by a rudimentary piston system that works like a human body's joint-and-muscle, but with the raw power of a machine, which, along with the general human-like structure of the body, allows it to move at great speeds despite its metallic frame.. Through the cannons on its back, it is able to propel itself with chakra. However, the canons can also turn forward to be used as an attacking mechanism, firing off piercing bullets of raw chakra that penetrate most defenses, or either forming a dual-blast energy wave with the concussive force of A-rank, cable to obliterate a small forest. (The firing system must recharge for five posts before the blast can be used again, and it is chakra-taxing.) The swords are typically made of a tamahagane alloy, which is the type of alloy used in the highest quality katana. However, while resembling katana in a way, the swords are actually straight-swords with slight curvatures that become more pronounced near the tip. At the largest size, they can (alongside the puppet's natural strength) cut into hard substances such as metal, but are slower, which is due to the size of the swords and the decreased dexterity that results from the layering. Thus, the combat form is usually different with each layer change. It terms of its natural strength, the puppet can uproot trees and toss them for yards at its core strength. While able to retain its strength at the higher levels, the lack of dexterity lowers the range of the puppet's throwing power. It can also break bones with its grasp. Through its eyes, it can fire poisoned senbon, each eye holding ten senbon within a small firing mechanism. The senbon, however, are colored like the light of the Matoryōshika's eyes, which makes them virtually impossible notice when combined with the high speeds that they are fired at. When it opens its mouth, the puppet can also emit a stunning frequency of sound that causes temporary deafness and throws off the equilibrium, ruining balance and also blurring the eyesight. NAME: Yama WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: A APPEARANCE: Yama is notably bulky, weighing in excess of four-hundred pounds. It is made of steel-reinforced timber, the timber making up most of its body, and possesses “locking joints” that help with its shield defense mechanism. It has long-dreaded hair and wears nothing but pants. It stands at 5ft5in tall. ABILITIES: Yama wields a gigantic shield that weighs just as much it does. It is entirely made of metallic alloy, and is in no way light. Thus, Yama displays great strength in wielding it. The shield can tank many B-ranks before it ever shows damage, and is able to absorb damage from A-ranks with moderate damage each time. Its weakness, however, are piercing Raiton techniques ranked B or higher, where C-ranks will create "weak spots" that can be exploited. Part of this great defensive prowess is attribute to Yama’s “locking joints”. With its great strength, Yama is able to tear human beings in half; however, it is usually much to slow to grab hold of anyone. Instead, Shō will usually dislocate its body parts and use the sheer size, weight, and power of them as offensive weapons, crushing bones with great ease. NAME: Yuji WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: A APPEARANCE: Modeled after the appearance of her dead friend, Yuji is a puppet of the same caliber as her deceased brother’s Sasori puppet, boasting great durability and versatility and efficiency of locomotion. On the outside, the puppet appears like a teenage male, with the exception that most of its body is made of metal, covered in graphene plating. It has been hollowed out, having its metallic innards substituted with steel-cable. It has golden eyes, vibrant blonde hair, and sharp lupine features, intended to capture her friend’s beauty. It is five fee ten inches tall and weighs one-hundred sixty-two pounds. ABILITIES: Yuji posses a high amount of durability, but more so towards blunt/concussive trauma. Its durability is a combination of its graphene-reinforced metallic exoskeleton and its steel-cable indoskeleton, where the former resists the force of enemy attacks and the latter absorbs and displaces any extra/excess force, making able to resist even the strongest of non-piercing techniques. It would take several A-ranks to weaken the puppet enough to damage its hide, but with piercing techniques, A-ranks pierce through with one hit, with B-ranks creating holes and C-ranks creating weak spots. (Raiton is especially effective.) Although its torso is hollowed out, the fists and legs of the puppet are still solid metal. While this makes the arms and legs less durable, it retains the striking power of her friend’s prosthetics, allowing Yuji the ability to crunch bones with full-powered blows. The limbs also attach to the cables, which allows for dynamic attack patterns. Which can be devestating given that Yuji moves fast enough to match most Taijutsu primaries. The fists are able to extend for up to ten feet. Moreover, the puppet also has certain traits that Shō modeled after her friend’s most characteristic qualities. She has gifted it with the “heart of a lion”, a powerful battery-type mechanism that converts chakra into the energy that powers the mechanism. It has “lightning-quick wit”, which represents a mechanism within its head that records battles for later examination. His “blazing speed” is represented by the air-propulsion system that absorbs air through a ventilation system and emits them at high pressures from the feet and the shoulders. Her friend was also well-versed in Suiton, which she tried to capture through the cannons in Yuji’s palms. Both are connected to water tanks that hold up to a gallon of water, the tanks having seals inside that hold gallons of water, pouring the water into the tanks upon command. Pressurized through the air-propulsuon system, the water can be used in one of two ways. Through the right hand, the water is fired off with lazer-like precision, able to slice into mettalic constructs, or even through them depending of the thickness. Through the left hand, the water is emitted as a concussive wave strong enough to match a B-rank Suiton technique. However, the true value of Yuji lies in the fact that it has a self-sufficient capture-and-assault mechanism. At any given moment, Yuji can be separated into ten main pieces, nine of which are connected by the puppet’s steel-wire cables, trapping the target in a “cage of steel-wire”. (If you can imagine the planet Jupiter having multiple parrellel rings lining the planet from its head to its toe, this is what the “cage” looks like.) This trapping can be further enhanced by using the Mechanical Light Block Shield to seal the target within a near-impenetrable barrier (although, the bottom and top are open for escape). The finishing blow comes from the head of the puppet, which immediately appears above the cage, opening its mouth and revealing the kanji for “incinerate” before blasting the target with a superheated flame that is hot enough to char flesh with direct contact. However, Yuji can only fire this flame two times in a thread. NAME: Kishi WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: B APPEARANCE: Kishi is formed of thick timber, surrounded by a durable acrylic plating. Over this, it wears a reifornced variant of the old-time shinobi armor. Its sword is made of the finest metal, and so is its shield. It is six feet tall. ABILITIES: Kishi boasts amazing prowess in both offense and defense. Although its movement speed is closer to average, it holds a shield that is able to withstand a number of B-ranked attacks and a sword that can cleave deeply into the human body, even bruising the body through armor with single blows. Besides its shield, the make-up on the puppet’s armor and body is enough to tank an A-rank with significant damage to the defensive layers. Apart from these things, Kishi also has a certain feature meant for surprises. Inside stomach-area is the kanji for lance. At any given moment, the stomach can open and fire off a thick and heavy seventeen-foot long lance to pin its target to the earth. (The lance can pierce B-ranked defenses). It has only two of these within its seal. NAME: Yūwaku WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: B APPEARANCE: Easily discerned as being a puppet, Yūwaku is made of extremely light timber, possessing no real durability to speak of. It wears a bright red dress and sports dark-black hair, but has no other accessories to speak of. It is five feet tall. ABILITIES: While lacking in offensive and defensive ability, Yūwaku makes up for this by being extemely fast, able to match the speeds of taijutsu masters. The purpose of the puppet is not to assault the target, but to get close enough to administer its hallucinogen. The airborne hallucinogen is administered through the puppet’s reverse-ventilation system, only released near the puppet's immediate area. It masks its intent through its bladed arms, which are laced with a common slow-acting lethary-inducing toxin that causes the muscles to lock up (this takes six posts to fully affect the target), using the blades to “seduce the target into a dance” while it saturates the immediate environment with its toxin. The hallucinogen is incredibly fast-acting taking only thirty seconds to fully afflict the target, leading to severe hallucinations which vary from person-to-person. Neither substance is lethal however. NAME: Taishoku WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: C APPEARANCE: Taishoku is a fat bald puppet that has the kanji for “swallow” within its mouth. It is made of heavy, layered timber, and wears a long robe. It is five feet and ten inches tall. ABILITIES: When it opens its mouth, an action that must be seen by the victim, a Genjutsu is triggered, causing the victim to view themselves being swallowed by Taishoku as if by a fūinjutsu. Besides that ability, the puppet does nothing exceptional, being moderately durable. It does, however, have explosive formulae written onto its palms. Offensively, it tries to wrap its hands around the neck of the opponent, or a limb, so that its localized explosions can wrench apart that particular part of the target’s body. NAME: Sasu WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: C APPEARANCE: Sasu is a large but slow-moving puppet, most of its size deriving from the large shield attached to its torso. While it is only five and eight inches tall, the shield stretches far past its legs, designed to protect Shō from any collateral damage from it's weapons. Both it and its shield are made of timber, although the shield is heavy and extremely thick. ABILITIES: Sasu is a one-dimensional puppet. Created during Shō’s younger years, it possesses only two manners of attack. The first is to disassemble its limbs from its body, each limb carrying five metallic spheres that are fired off at notable speeds (although, the speeds are only truly threatening to Chūnin and Genin), traveling for twenty meters. The spheres have some piercing power, as they are able pierce deep into the trunk of large trees, but they are intended to be detonated, releasing magnetized shrapnel into the the air in various directions, the shrapnel firing off at speeds much greater than the spheres themselves. (The shrapnel magnetizes the target for as long as they are in contact with the body.) Then, from the main body, large magnetized shuriken are fired from slits in the torso, chasing and tracking anyone hit by the shrapnel until contact is made. The shuriken are well-able to rend through the human body, however, because they stop at the point of contact, they only slice into the body as opposed to through it, not only damaging the body, but weighing it down also. NAME: Hansha WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: D APPEARANCE: Hansha is a somewhat odd puppet. Made of light timber, it appears as a featureless marionette that is covered in reflective glass, basically appearing as a glass sculpture. The glass isn't particularly durable either. ABILITIES: Another one of Shō’s puppets from her younger years, it is one of her “trickster set” puppets, and one of her first attempts at cooperative designs. (She scrapped the co-op idea of course.) It is five feet tall. The puppet is extremely fast, designed to enter into close combat with the target. With its hyper-reflective surface, it blinds its opponents fairly easily, and by running chakra through its glass, it is possible to increase the intensity of this effect. Its offensive merit from the fact that its glass fingers can pierce into flesh. However, the glass is easily shattered by the bone, which robs the puppet of its offensive weapon but deposits shards of glass within the target’s body. NAME: Tosshin WEAPON TYPE: Puppet RANK: D APPEARANCE: The Tosshin puppet is modeled after spiders, possessing eight legs that have barbed hooks on the end. They are made of light timber and stand only three feet high. ABILITIES: Tosshin is a group-oriented puppet model that attach to their targets and explode, tearing muscle fibers and splintering bone. They aren't particularly fast, but possess a quick-leaping mechanism that can take enemies by surprise. Intended to be quick and powerful, the leap only goes for three feet. They rely on numbers to overwhelm the enemy, but otherwise have no extravagant abilities. |
