Horobi |
NAME:-- Horobi - To Ruin WEAPON TYPE:-- Sword - Personal RANK: -- A APPEARANCE: Horobi's blade is much longer than a standard Kumogakure shinobi Katana, roughly the size of a nodachi. The blade itself looks "dull and ugly" in appearance especially next to its siblings, which are highly polished. Unlike the other Swords whose steel shine brightly or reflect light, the Horobi's blade is a dull color lacking all luster that actually seems to draw light into itself, creating a pocket of localized gloom when drawn. The guard is long, and extends inward from its center, similar to a shinai. The hilt is white, though most of it is wrapped in bandages, as is his sword's sheath. ABILITIES: Blade of Despair: Despite the usual sharpness of a normal Katana, Horobi's first and foremost ability is it projects a field of total apathy that spreads to cover a specific area when drawn. Horobi's area of influence only extends 10 feet from the wielder's body, any creature besides the wielder who is caught within Horobi's sphere of influence loses all interest in life and slumps to the ground in a state of profound depression. They are still capable of movement, however isn't interested in doing so additionally they take no notice of hunger, thirst, or exposure to elements or threats of attack. Civilians and lower ranked NPCs would be instantly taken over by the affects of the blade. While, B rank and A rank level NPCs would take longer to slump over in depression, usually a needing to be attacked by the blade, however it depends on the situation. The area of empathy doesn't affect PC(player Character) characters upon being drawn, instead the character would have to be cut by the blade for it's affects to start working. Shinobi without a Strong Will SA would need to be equal or higher rank than the sword in order to defend against it's empathy, that being said shinobi with some type of strong will SA would have a better chance defending against the effects of the sword. Because of this, those with a Strong will SA will require the sword owner to use a technique in order to effect them with it's despair. Additionally, no PC character can just be completely taken over with one slash of the blade, it would take multiple attacks to completely take over a PC shinobi. |
