APPEARANCE HEIGHT 7' WEIGHT 280 To most people Shin is a very attractive man who just happens to be build like a brick shit house. The fact that he was more muscled than any man needed to be was somehow offset by how he carried himself. The grace and poise that were the tradmark of his very being can be seen in nearly every thing about him. From the gentle but powerfull steps he take to the way he greets people. His white hair and black sideburns framing his face in such an oddly wild way only servs to compliment his overall poise and stature. A man of 7 feet tall shouldn't be able to move the way Shin does and yet he does it with as much grace as an hunting tiger. His muscles tight with every move to ensure maximum preparidness, Shin is always ready to react to danger. The robes Shin wears are often gifts and are generally made from fine silks or other fine fabrics. They may change from time to time in both design and appearence, Shin wears them untill they become unfit for public then carefully adds them to his growing display of kimono. Despite Shin being an exessivly muscular man of abnormal hieght , while wearing a Kimono all of that seems to be secondary to his gracefull appearencec. While not in komono or Shinobi Battle Armor he wears a traditional White Hakama set, with silver accents. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY NINDO Patience: Shin has an understanding that things take time. That effort yields rewards if you are capable of seeing it through. His entire life is dedicated to effort yielding reward. In his martial arts and his approach to problems, he is very patient. He can wait for month and years for the fruits of his labor and never eel anxiety about it. even through torture or any manor of distraction he remains capable of waiting for the results of his plans Ambitious: Shin has been told he was meant for greatness nsince he was born and raised in the monks enclave. He has been taught to embrace his destiny and run towards greatness. Shin doesn't waste his time with things he doesn't feel will further him or his goals. This can be personal or professional, eh only wants to keep aining strength,power and respect. His drive also causes him to look down lon lazy or weak hearted people. Ends justify the means: Shin is a cold and he understand that he has to break a few eggs to make an omelette. In his case those eggs are lives and the end goal happens to be whatever his particular agenda happens to be. If he wanted to take out a village, he would poison the water ad take the civilians and ninja alike, to make an extreme case. Perception: Shin has lead a hard life and in that life he has learned that no matter how strong a body, sharp mind can cut it down just the same. To that effect He learned to study people and their behavior and learn what makes them tick. with in a few sentences and a glance Shin can infer a persons vague life story and even , if applicable, their ambitions. Grace: No matter the situation Shin never seems to get flustered or taken aback. His facal expressions very rarely leaving a calm apathetic serenity that keeps weak ego'd fools away from him. Everything about him is entirely intentional and made with the thought that his actions have viewers and consiquences. To that effect he both moves in this way to ensure his own legacy of greatness and ensure his own safty while wielding such unimaginable power. Respect and Honor: Above all Else Shin tries to be respectfull and to that extent he will offer any and everyone any courtisy he can in order to live up to his own peculure code of ethics and Honor. This would be all fine and well if he didn't DEMAND the same from those around him. If people approach him with anything less that respect, he will either punish them, or simply ignore them as baseless criten and be on his way. To this effect Shin also holds a HIGH premium on how people treat others and use that as a reflection of the person more than how they treat him personally. | ||||||||
HISTORY Raised by monks: Shin was never to know a mothers embrace or a fathers loving wisdom. On the day he was borm, and the reason for his mother going inot labor was due to abolt of lightning stricking her. Some say the lighnting came from a cloudless sky and was a divine blessing upon the world that, while others say there was no lightning and she was just praying and died. The truth is lost to the speculation of time but what we do know is that Shin was raised by a group of monks from the day he was born to the day the sect was wiped out. Through his infancy Shin was the calmest little boy you could hope for, only fussing when food or changing was needed. Other than that he simply seemed to watch everying. His mind knew the forms of thetemple martial art style before his first words. Shin however did have one tantrume that shattered any concept of him being a normal child. During a particularly bad storm Shin wailed unconsolably for hours and hours as the storm raged on. His heaviest sobbs matching the thunder with an eerie perfection. Then a bolt of lightning shot out of the infant into the storm and in an instant the clouds dispursed and the satrom ended, with Shin fast asleep. From that moment on The monks knew Shin was special so they took to teaching him in small ways and nurturing whatever whim the child had. To say Shin had a pampered life in his infancy would be an understatment. Up untill Shin's 5th birthday he was given his every desire. It was at 5 years old that the monks Placed a seal upon the boys chest that made it incredibly painfull for Shin to manifest his raiton chakra outside of his body. Essentially making him a normal person for as long as the seal was activated. The seal served to protect the monks during what would be intense training that would be the consumption of the boys life from that day forward. The seal ensured he wouldn't kill or mutilate his teachers in a fit of rage and it was easily turned on and off to aloow him to train with his chakra as well. The first 5 years were academic. He started with the basics of the world, ninjutsu,Taijutsu and Genjutsu. Filling 12 hour days with written assignments and homework that never seemed to end. Projects and one man shows in order to display a creative understandng of the material. His education was thurough and comprihensive as the monks were hoarders of knowledge. His aptitude was astounding as if he had some deeper well spring of knowledge or understanding that went beyonf his life span. No one understood it but they quickly understood that ever as a "normal" child he was uniquly gifted. After his initial 5 years of academic training Shin's seal was removed for the first time and the resulting shockwave of ambient electricity that had built up in the boy knocked out every monk but the master who was still shaken by the show of power from the boy. Normally a persons body would be torn apart by the force of that power but the boy remained whole and more than that he seemed relieved. The master monk made his way to the boy and asked him how he felt after that and with a audible sigh Shin replied Relief. The master,being the only one left, taught shin That day and it was a single lesson that spanned the hours it took for the rest of the monks to wake up and get back to normal. It was about control. However it wasn't a simple academic lecture. The training was for Shin to make images using his lightning as a game. The private lessons would continue as his practical application coursed started. These were classes based on implimenting all the skills he had learned over the years in actual combat situations. Even with the undewrstanding thatt Shin wasn't going to die, they didn't pull any punches. Some even taking out their resentment for being knocked out by a child. Failure was met with punishment and a lesson and sucess was rewarded with advanced knowledge that shin would request. He was at all time of his waking life stressed physically,mentally, emotions and in every other way imaginable. If not for the lessons with the master monk to taught him to control himself and to delv deeper into understanding his stress. The classes with the master monk became his solice and often preceeded the hours before everyone slept. Breaking limits: It was iin the introspective meditations that shin would come to harness his greatest power. Because his mind and body were pushed to such extreme limits during the grueling training of the monks, Shin has learned to go past the limits of human capabilities and tap into another wellspring of power that allowed him to keep pace with dozens of battle retired men who had turned to the secluded in order to escape being used as weapons. HE was only 10 years onld the first time he realized that he was functioning past his own endurance and that the after effects were incredibly painfull. His body shouldn't have been able to use the entirety of his strength but he was and he hardly understood how. Whe the master monk came next to help Shin with his control medications Shin told him what had happened and the master monk had weapt with tears of joy. What was a myth was now a fact and all because of their faith. The master monk told Shin that he had opened the first gate. The two spoke about the sensation and expirence through the night and when the monk had to sleep and Shin went to train, Shin now knew he must learn how to control his newfound power and keep re-affiriming the faith of the people who raised him. | ||||||||

Capable of usinf hand seals with incredible spead and even using jutsu in fairly rapid succession of eachother. when using normal jutsu Shin has an amazing understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and exploiting them in either direction. Shin's ability with raiton chakra is on a whole other level and can be seen as near godlike control over raiton ninjutsu. However Shin can't use any other ninjutsu elements other than raiton which is a weakness he can never overcome. TAIJUTSU: SKILL RANK:B SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Shin's ability to handle himself with out a weapon is incredible. Able to handle multipul assailents at a time with ease, to say nothing of a one on one match. Having learned half a dozen forms of martial arts and mastering 2 seperate martial arts, Shin has an incredible understanding of how martial arts and as such he can dissect someones fighting style with in a few moments. Able to detect even the slightest opening in an opponent and able to even tell if it's a fient or a true opening. His attacks are, at their weakest, capable of taking chunks out of trees. Shins only capable of using the Raiton Element. While to some this may be seen as a detriment, to others it is a dign of his divinity. Shin is capable of expressing Raiton chakra at will from any portionn of his body. The intensity is ofcourse entirely controled by Shin, though these things have generally been purposed towards various Jutsu. His control over Raiton is so perfected that Shin can activly absorb NNatural lighting and a large portion of a raiton jutsu's power. Mind, Body and Spirit are one Due to his inteanse training and regular deep meditations guided by a master. Shin has garnered a control over himself that no human on the planet could possibly posses. His mody moves at the speed of his mind. Able to react in micro seconds with out even truly understanding the threat,Shin has prefested a form of absolute defense in hand to hand combat. that puts him him into a zen like state in which no matter how fast an attacker,Shin can defend against the attack. If that were his only feat he wouldn't be as prolific a man. His Chakra gathers with the same speed to accept, however this is only treue with the ______ and the _____ jutsu. The jutsu activate and function with speeds that at some points even surprise Shin himself.
