阿弥陀仏の尊い与; 珪化楓; 邪材 Amidabutsu no Tōtoiyo; Keikakaede; Mazai [Sacred Gift of Amida; Petrified Maple; Wicked Timber] | 井堰人材 | Iserizai [Weirwood]WEAPON TYPE: SupplementaryRANK: AAPPEARANCE:The five-pointed leaves and the sap of weirwood trees are blood-red, while the smooth, stone-like bark on their wide trunks and wood are bone white. Most weirwoods have faces carved into their trunks. This was done by the practioners of the Tanabata faith in ancient days, and is now a tradition done by the ninja of Kumogakure upon graduating the academy. In some cases sap has collected in the crevices of the carved faces, giving the trees red eyes which have been known to drip sap as if the trees were weeping. It is believed, given the weirwood trees origin stemming from Pipsqueak Mountain in the 7th Heaven mountain range, that a weirwood will live forever if undisturbed.
ABILITIES:NOTE: The abilities of weirwood, while incredibly potent, are not wholly related to one another. In other words, each characteristic weirwood offers takes up one slot of a weapon's special abilities. 生得い耐力 | Ūitariki [Inherant Durability]Due to weirwood trees being deciduous, as well as becoming petrified over thousands of years from the mineral-saturated soil, the wood from these trees is naturally much more durable than wood you might find from a typical tree. It is for this reason that the timber from a weirwood tree is known as "petrified maple," [珪化楓; keikakaede, literally "jade-tablet influence maple (tree)"], given maple's status as one of the hardest deciduous trees below hickory, as well as for the nature of the sap often found dripping from the trees. Petrified maple is also incredibly dense, as could be expected of a material synonymous in physical structure to stone. As a result any weapons or equipment made from weirwood are naturally resistant to physical attacks [bukijutsu/taijutsu b-rank and below] as well as elemental chakra-based attacks [b-rank and below]. However, Raiton (and any elemental combinations stemming from Raiton) based attacks [b-rank and above] are able bypass the wood's natural defenses to the piercing qualities of Raiton chakra, potentially allowing further damage, as the heat from Raiton chakra would cause the small amounts of sap within the petrified maple to violently explode, sending stone shrapnel everywhere within a 10m radius. NOTE: Due to the durability being an innate property of weirwood, this does not count towards a weapon or equipment's allotted special abilities. 罰当常緑幻覚・意語 | Bachiajōroku Gensa: Igo [Damned Evergreens Hallucination: Thoughtspeech]A product of the Damned Evergreens' malevolent aura saturating the entirety of the forest over thousands of years, the weirwood trees produce an aura of their own, albeit on a much smaller scale when processed; specifically, this aura can be willingly imparted on a wielder of processed weirwood to induce a unique kind of genjutsu. Performing a special hand seal (isis) while channeling chakra into the wood, the wielder will induce a genjutsu on themselves, temporarily putting them in what feels like a hyper-aware state of mind. Doing so effectively allows the wielder to temporarily experience a state of enlightenment in which normal boundaries can be bypassed; in this case, being able to communicate with nearby sentient beings (regardless of whether the subject is animal, human or mythical) mentally by "trasmitting" one's thoughts across extended distances depending on how much chakra the wielder spends. This genjutsu allows a user to talk to a given number of individuals regardless of whether they give their permission or not, as the genjutsu is affecting the user and not the individuals; however, should the individuals choose to "open their minds" as well, by performing the seal of confrontation said affected individuals can communicate with the wielder and any others affected.NOTE: The chakra cost only applies to the user depending on how many individuals are chosen to communicate with. The chakra cost is constant
Chakra usage | Range | # of contacts | Max # of turns Very Low: 100m | 2 contacts | 3 turns Low: 250m | 4 contacts | 6 turns Medium: 500m | 6 contacts | 9 turns High: 750m | 8 contacts | 12 turns Very High: 1km | 10 contacts | 15 turns 罰当常緑幻覚・未来夢視覚 | Bachiajōroku Gensa: Mikimumisa [Damned Evergreens Hallucination: Futuresight] A product of the Damned Evergreens' malevolent aura saturating the entirety of the forest over thousands of years, the weirwood trees produce an aura of their own, albeit on a much smaller scale when processed; specifically, this aura can be willingly imparted on a wielder of processed weirwood to induce a unique kind of genjutsu. Performing a special hand seal (ra) while channeling a medium amount of chakra into the timber, the wielder will induce a genjutsu on themselves, temporarily putting them in what feels like a hyper-aware state of mind. Doing so effectively allows the wielder to temporarily experience a state of enlightenment in which normal boundaries can be bypassed; in this case, removing limits on the brains to perceive time linearly, and by doing so allows the wielder to very temporarily look outside their current existence in the timeline. This grants the wielder of the timber the ability to avoid any attack, including fatal strikes, up to three [3] times per thread. NOTE: Due to the nature of this ability, it can only be applied to armor and other passive equipment that can be worn (such as shirts, sunglasses, etc). This means that no offensive or defensive weapons, such as swords or shields, made of weirwood can ever possess this ability. 罰当常緑幻覚・力蛭 | Bachiajōroku Gensa: Chikarahiru [Damned Evergreens Hallucination: Power Leech] Unlike the Senju clan of Konohagakure, whom possess the ability to create wood with life-rejuvenating properties, the weirwood trees from the Damned Evergreens do the exact opposite. The malevolent chakra exuded by petrified maple has many heinous qualities, but perhaps the most heinous is the wood's effect on the chakra of others. Once harvested and logged, the range of weirwood's foul chakra is much weaker, limited to a 10m radius; for a high chakra cost per post, the wielder of weirwood with this ability can extend the range of effect up to 25m. Due to the nature of weirwood's foul chakra, it will naturally latch onto any chakra source within range. While within range of weirwood with this ability, those affected will have a stunted ability to use jutsu depending on the time exposed. Should the target leave the area of effect, the hindering effects will slowly reverse at half the time one is affected (i.e. one is affected for 2 posts, it will take 1 full rotation before the effects wear off).

Alright, lets get down to business then.生得い耐力 | Ūitariki [Inherant Durability]"Petrified maple is also incredibly dense, as could be expected of a material synonymous in physical structure to stone. As a result any weapons or equipment made from weirwood are naturally resistant to physical attack [bukijutsu/kenjutsu b-rank and below]" You put Bukijutsu and Kenjutsu as separate things, even though the latter is a subcategory of the former. Did you mean Bukijutsu/Taijutsu罰当常緑幻覚・未来夢視覚 | Bachiajōroku Gensa: Mikimumisa [Damned Evergreens Hallucination: Futuresight] This is optional but...I'm not sure how a genjutsu lets you see something that hasn't happened yet. If you could find a way to explain it I'd be very appreciative. Again, I'd approve it without an explanation, weirder things have happened in the world of naruto, but it would be nicer if we had a reason why a genjutsu could do this.罰当常緑幻覚・力蛭 | Bachiajōroku Gensa: Chikarahiru [Damned Evergreens Hallucination: Power Leech]The last sentence isn't finished.
