APPEARANCE  HEIGHT 5' 6" WEIGHT 124 lbs. Androgynous, in a word. Kaworu is both feminine and small, with slightly wide hips to give shape to a short lithe frame. Standing at only five feet, six inches tall, he wasn't the portrait of strength that his father wanted. His body is clothed is ghostly flesh. His head is topped with a fluffy, thick mop of straw-like hair, that's even paler than natural wheat. It makes his head appear bigger then it actually is. His eyes are an unnatural red, and he has a piercing, otherworldly gaze. What is missing from his naked form that most expect to see on members of his clan are the twin round marks upon his forehead. Kaworu stopped wearing these when he was exiled from the clan. On his left side, just below where his ribs stop, is a short diagonal scar. Outside of this his natural form is perfect. Shinobi don't fight in the flesh alone however. Still, because of his bloodline Kaworu prefers to dress light when he expects combat. Clothing will just get shredded by his bones. The entirety of his torso is naked save for his flak jacket. It is a pale blue-gray and in a similar style to other Kirigakure Hunter-Nin. His is somewhat modified with two kunai pouches that hold five kunai and explosive tags each. It buckles on either side so he can easily shed it should he need to utilize the bones within his torso for defense or offense. Given that his arms are primarily his weapons, these are entirely bare. Since going pantsless is frowned upon, the young man sports a pare of wide-legged green pants, with pin stripes that are largely spaced. These allow his skin to breath easily and are very flowy when moving. His leg bones are hardly ever used for offense. He wraps his ankles, as many other shinobi do also and wears a pair of black shinobi shoes. He relies on his mask to denote his village allegiance. While around the village, the Kaguya prefers to wear an obscuring black raincloak that sports a hood. His face is typically covered by a mask. The mask is bone white, with the visage of a shark painted upon it. The insignia for the Mist village is located in the center of the forehead, just as any other Hunter-Nin's mask. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY A battle is a gamble where one pits their existence against another’s. You try to kill each other, and only the victor gets to savor the worth of his existence. +Loyal; When his clan abandon him to his fate, it was the people of the village that took him in and raised him as their own. The Kaguya might not have wanted anything to do with him, but the Mist and its Mizukage invested in him. For this reason it is highly doubtful that Kaworu would ever do anything to betray the village or its leader. Part of what propelled him to become a Hunter-Nin was his disire to punish those that were disloyal to his home. +Observant; As a quiet child, much of Kaworu's childhood was spent staring at things and figuring them out for himself. He likes to watch, and he's quick to make note of small details, a trait that has helped out tremendously in his current career. There are always little thing to note about people are places that make them more interesting in his mind. Seeing a rip on someone's clothes can tell him an entire range of possible stories without having to speak a word. +Patient; Only about ten percent of his job is actual combat. The rest is either tracking, observing, or waiting in ambush. The Kaguya is very patient, and can amuse himself somehow or another until whatever component that's out of his hands finally occurs. This also means that he is willing to take things slow until his objectives are met, rather it's working towards mastering a technique or learning a new discipline entirely. It's a stark contract to many ninja who want power right now or instant victory. -Apathetic; It's not that he doesn't care about anything, but he rarely shows passion for much in life. When it happens it's rare. Everything is treated matter of factly, and little is said unless it needs to be. While he will observe someone or something if he's bored, the Kaguya doesn't look to get too invested. Of course any deep connections are usually avoided. Having felt betrayed by his family hurt him deeply, so not only does he not trust easy, he tried not to form bonds. Less pain when you're gone. -Quiet; Not necessarily a bad thing, depending on how you look at it. His quiet efficiency is part of what's allows him to excel as a shinobi and made him an excellent candidate for a Hunter-Nin. Rarely will Kaworu say more than a few words. If he goes on a tirade of more than a couple of sentences, then it's a sure bet that the subject is something he's really passionate about, but it's a very rare occurrence. He's not one to make conversation just to fill an awkward silence. -Self-Depreciating; Dealing with so much rejection early in life left an indelible wound on the boy. He works hard and kills whoever he's told to prove his value to himself and his village. His job is all the has to feel like he belongs in the world. If he wasn't meant to be here, he would die, and he will when he isn't any longer. His efforts are merely to feel like he has some use, but Karowu isn't someone who believes in himself or works to rule over others within the shinobi world. He just wants to have worth. | ||||||||

SPECIALIZATIONS: SHIKOTSUMYAKU: SKILL RANK:(B) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: As a Kaguya one would expect the young man's skill in this to stand above all others. It is of course his most practiced and used area of discipline. Kaworu makes full use of his bloodline and it considered an expert with it within the upper echelons of Kirigakure, even if others in his clan shun and demean him. His take on ranged fighting with a traditionally close combat ability catches many off guard and has been turning heads since he was a child. NINJUTSU: SKILL RANK:(D) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: While he is not as skilled in ninjutsu that doesn't pertain to his kekkei genkai, Karowu saw the need for supplementary techniques to aid in his career as a shinobi. His skeletal abilities couldn't be the key to everything after all. With this in mine, the boy learned to utilize his suiton nature and left other natures by the wayside, as his remaining timed and talent was sunk into his bone archery. He has moderate talent with water release and other basic ninjutsu, but isn't what one might consider an expert. TAIJUTSU: SKILL RANK:(E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: As a Kaguya many of his clan prefer close combat. While Kaworu has since gone his one way with the direction of his techniques, he still has a very basic understanding of taijutsu. It's not as if no one has ever thrown a punch at him. Still, he is a distance fighter for a reason. BUKIJUTSU: SKILL RANK:(E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: He carries very few ninja tools on him for two reasons. One is that for the most part, he can make his own, the other part is that he is just more practiced and focused on his archery. Thorwing a kunai just isn't the same as shooting an arrow. GENJUTSU: SKILL RANK:(E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: He has the least experience with illusions. Since has fought from the shadows, attacking while unseen for so long, they are almost a non-issue, so much so that he hasn't even bothered with kai. Kaworu has zero skill with genjutsu as he sees no use for it nor any way it could really complement the focal point of his abilities. FUUINJUSTU: SKILL RANK:(E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Outside of the basic sealing technique to unseal stolen items rogue shinobi often run off with, the young man has very little knowledge of the sealing arts, save for what a seal usually looks like. Given some of the rumors he's heard about those with powerful sealing abilities, he's a little wary of it. | ||||||||

His flesh heals quickly to account for all the bone punctures brought on his kekkei genkai. Unlike most Kaguya however, Kaworu doesn't viciously attack up close with taijutsu maneuvers. While he can utilize some close quarters combat with his bloodline, he instead chooses to attack from a distance, forming his bones into bows, crossbows, arrows, and other projectiles. Looking to break the norms of Kaguya savagery, Kaworu makes precise attacks from a distance, leading others among his clan to consider him a coward. SAIRENTO KIRINGU | 無音殺人術 | SILENT KILLING What manner of Hunter Shinobi would he be without this technique? Like many skilled warriors within the Hidden Mist, Kaworu can make use of the Silent Killing Technique in conjunction with the village's famous Hidden Mist technique. His pale skin and hair help him fade away more easily in the mist. As the technique implies, Kaworu can maneuver silently through the thick mist to take his opponents by surprise. Of course, that is only half of the ability's use. He can also track shinobi easily by sound, though if that fails the Kaguya has other techniques he can rely on. These are used only in specific cases however as being able to freely manipulate the bones of his inner hear gives him excellent hearing at moderate distances, amplifying his role as a hunter and assassin of rogue shinobi. DOKUSEN | 毒腺 | POISON GLAND A memento from a childhood pet, and what would have been Kaworu's one and only summon. When his father slew the cutesy creature, an old friend saw an opportunity for the boy to keep a piece of his companion with him for the rest of his days. Implanted in right side, just below his ribs, is the kidney shaped poison gland from a male platypus. While he initially had a horrific reaction to the poison, over the years his body has become used to it and Kaworu has learned to use the organ as one of his own. With this he has the option to coat his projectiles or techniques with a vile poisonous secretion. The venom from a platypus will cause painful inflammation around the wound and temporary paralysis within the part of the body affected for several minutes up to a few hours, or in extreme cases days if the victim is continually dosed with enough poison. This venom can only ever be lethal if the torso is affected by a large enough dosage, causing the heart to seize up. SOGEKI-HEI | 狙撃兵 | SHARPSHOOTER As both a shinobi and a Kaguya, Kaworu has focused on his skill as a marksman more than anything else. Over the years, he has become quite adept at hitting a target with his projectiles. An experienced shooter Kaworu can easily lead a moving target, account for wind and even interfering obstacles within seconds. After learning the Silent Killing Technique he has even become accustomed to firing arrows blind through the mist into his targets, listening for the jingling of zippers, the rasp of heavy breathing, or the rustling of cloth under the stress of panicked movements. The Kaguya can easily peg a target at long range if he has a clear enough shot. It is for his skill with archery and his near infinite source of arrows that has made Kaworu a successful Hunter Shinobi. | ||||||||
