APPEARANCE HEIGHT 5'2" WEIGHT 100lbs Rai has long brown hair that is twisted into dreadlocks and that she keeps in pig tails. Her eyes are big and violet. She is a light skin kumo resident with hazel brown skin. She is almost always smiling and laughing which gives her face a care free demeanor. She has two diamond studs in her ears that she keeps in at all times. She ties her hair into pig tails with rubber bands that she keeps raveled in her hair. What she is normally seen wearing when she is not on a mission is cargo pants in varying colors and a cutoff tank top that shows her midriff and much of her cleavage. As her father dislikes her showing so much skin he usually has her wearing a jacket of some kind that is usually unzipped and useless or altogether thrown away. Upon her feet she does not wear typical sneakers or boots but roller blades in order to zip around the city faster. Her attire changes almost completely when doing missions however her penchant for showing skin does not. Wearing a chain mesh shirt under the Kumo regular issue flak jacket being the only thing covering her ample bosom from being exposed; On her legs she wears skin tight black spandex pants with no pockets preferring to keep all her weapons on her flak jacket, she also wears two weapons pouches side by side upon her back on her waist. For shoes she abandons the roller blades as she has not found a use for them within battle (only because no one will make her chakra reactive roller blades maybe some day) and instead she wears steel toed boots. Mainly because she sees the steel toe (which is chakra reactive) to be more functional then open toed sandals. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY NINDO I came in like a wrecking ball Rai's Personality could be summed up into one word energy. That being said I will not sum it up that way but explain what that means. She is bubbly and the kind of girl everyone wants to be around because life is just more fun when she is around. Her over the top personality is just eccentric enough to be entertaining but not too much to the point where it gets annoying. She is funny and does not mind being the butt of jokes and is an over the top flirt with everyone no matter there gender. She is almost never sad or depressed and always has energy to spare. She can usually be found around the village zipping around on her roller blades because as she likes to say life is to exciting to walk because you might miss something. She is a genuinely happy person and others can tell and that makes them like her even more. Her positively upbeat attitude comes with her on missions. Though she knows to dial it back and even when to turn it off. She is excellent when it comes to reading moods and knowing when her positivity would be a hindrance. She is kind and caring when she needs to be. However she can also be a bit destructive. It seems to come with the boundless energy that she has. It is a marvelous thing when she is fighting and actively trying to destroy something. However, there are times where she is like a kid that holds on too tight to a kitten and ends up snapping its neck (not literally she has never done that). There were many times where she became too overzealous when learning a jutsu and destroyed training dummies and while this is no issue she sometimes trains at home which resulted in her family having to move twice. Though she is learning to reign her energy and zeal in she has a long way to go. | ||||||||
HISTORY Rai's history is not very long or harrowing. She has not had an easy life but it was not hard either. We shall start at the beginning she was born into a family that loved her. Her father a Jounin in his own right calling her his little lightning bolt for the way she seemed to ooze energy even at a young age. Her mother whom was also a ninja retired from the ninja life happily to raise her daughter (and now that her daughter is a Genin began her ninja career again). Before going to the academy she did what most kids do play within the village (mostly ninja). When it came time to decide on going to the academy or not she did not hesitate to join up. During the academy she was very popular among the students and the teachers. She was well liked and well-studied. While she was never in the top of the class in studies she stayed well away from the bottom. She always had a way with Ninjutsu and did very well in those classes, and while she was not too advanced in Taijutsu her increased stamina and energy kept her from hitting the bottom of the class. Although she was making history being a part of something so new to her it just seemed like ordinary everyday things. While she was aware that she was a part of the first generation of students to ever enter into the academy the thought never really dawned on her as an achievement or an action of note as she figured this was just something people did in order to become ninja. She did not understand the fact that just a few years ago there was no choice and she would have been conscripted into the ninja life due to her natural chakra pool and boundless energy. Much like anything else even partly negative she was oblivious to this fact. Where other students were doing their best trying to make a name for themselves, or pushing themselves to their limits to reach the top of the class in order to be the top student in the first class of shinobi she was unfazed by these things and just was looking for fun. In many aspects she was the kind of child that the system wanted to make. A child that did not have to worry about war and early death and simply chose to become a ninja for a life of fun not for a life of war and although it was much too soon for her to think this way the elders of the village couldn’t help but enjoy the sight of it. When it came time to graduate she graduated right in the middle of the pack. She was fine with this as she knew there were things she needed to do better in order to become a better shinobi. However as part of the first Genin to ever grace the ninja world she is now ready to make her mark on the world. She decided she would start by creating her own high energy flashy fighting style that fits her personality. She began training her own method of fighting during the end of her academy days and hopes that her new sensei would be willing to help her along. Although her personality and the fighting style she envisions will stop her from doing the more stealth like things ninja are required she is hoping to circumvent this issue with her speed; as even if you know she is coming it does not matter if you cannot keep up with her speed to stop her. As a genin she plans to work hard to step her game up and become one of the rising stars to look out for in the ninja world. She is confident in her ability so much so that she is sure that she will be the first person ever to graduate from Genin to Chuunin. This is one of her many dreams for her shinobi career and has given her the motivation needed to train much more seriously than she ever did in the academy. Her training since she became a Genin (even though she has yet to be placed on a team with a Jounin sensei) has increased tenfold and those around her have mentioned that if she had trained so seriously in the academy she would have easily graduated top of her class. | ||||||||
SPECIALIZATIONS: NINJUTSU: SKILL RANK:C SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Rai has always felt a connection to Ninjutsu. She had an intimate understanding of the inner workings of Ninjutsu which allowed her to learn and train Ninjutsu much easier than others. Because of this she has focused more on her Ninjutsu work during the academy which allowed her to become much better than average when it comes to her Ninjutsu skills. She currently has the skill level of a new Chuunin which does not mean she can fight on equal terms with chuunin but she could learn Ninjutsu as well as utilize it as effectively as someone of Chuunin level could. TAIJUTSU: SKILL RANK: (E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Because of her focus on Ninjutsu all her other abilities is about as good as the average academy student. Having graduated from the academy one would think her skills would be of Genin level, which is what the world is now calling those who have just entered into the life of shinobi. However due to her focus on Ninjutsu her others skills have faltered because of it. Now this does not mean she is incapable of using any other skills its just that when it comes to other skills she is below average for someone of her level. As of right now she has the same level of skill in her other abilities as the average academy student in their second to last year of the academy which is to say that she has enough prowess to feel confident about her skills when facing other academy students in these fields but she also knows that she has room to grow and no room to brag. Using her natural speed, grace, agility, flexibility and energy (all of which she was gifted with an abundance of [but not as much as they would be if they were in their own category] and she has trained since becoming a ninja) she preforms elaborate flips and spins and slides while fighting all to give herself momentum while making herself harder to hit. She hopes to one day add her own jutsu to this fighting style but at the present moment she substitutes widely known jutsu which fit her needs. Chakra Pool Much of her boundless energy and stamina comes from having an enormous reserve of chakra to back up her use of jutsu and constant motion. Without this naturally large supply of chakra (which she has been training to deepen even further) she would not be able to fight the way that she does.
