This technique essentially hardens the hair on the user's head and shoots it at the enemy. The sharpened points of the hair can turn the target's entire body into a pincushion. The user can fire either individual strands of hair, or multiple strands can be wrapped together to create larger projectiles.

the user shoots a barrage of hardened hair needles towards their opponent. The hairs themselves are strong enough to pierce through and destroy boulders.

At the same time that Jiraiya kneads chakra and fires the hair needles, Fukasaku and Shima activate Jiraiya's hair roots, causing the hair to grow at an accelerated rate thus making limitless rapid-fire possible. The sheer speed of this technique makes it the fastest attack with the widest range in Jiraiya's arsenal.

Using the similar concept of the wild lion's mane technique, the user manipulates her/his hair to extend and cover their fists like boxing gloves made of thick steel wire. This can be used to increase the weight and power behind strikes and can even be enhanced with short spikes protruding from all around the 'glove', like a mace.

DESCRIPTION:

Stimulating one's hair folicles with chakra, the user's hair will extend and attempt to wrap the thick steel wire-like tendrils around the limbs of the target, preventing them from moving or even use it to grab their target and send them hurtling some distance away. The strands can be cut by a significant enough force.

Using their ability to utilize Mokuton (wood release) techniques, the user will form the 'dog,' 'rat,' and 'snake' handseals and cause beams of wood to emerge from the ground. These beams will wrap around a target to bind it. Because the beams come from underneath the ground they are difficult to dodge initially. The user charges their chakra across them as well, making the beams difficult to break until the entrapped opponent has good physical strength or jutsu with equivalent power. While this jutsu is being held, no other techniques can be performed by the user however and they must remain stationary.

Extending his hair, Miki creates a clone of himself that perfectly mimics his appearance at the time. This works similar to an elemental clone like Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, in that it reverts back to it's original state when struck, entangling the one who defeated it in thick strands of orange hair. In addition, these clones are capable of using C-rank and below hair-based techniques. The user can create no more than nine [9] clones at one time with this technique.

DESCRIPTION:

A technique that changes one's own arm into big trees. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time, if one changes the ends into sharp stakes, turn them into countless, sharp, spear-like piercing weapons.

Obito brings up several thick roots from the ground, and uses them to crush his opponents.

Using the Wood Release, a user can manipulate the terrain, bringing out underground roots of varying sizes to fit various offensive situations, such as using the roots for trickery, misdirection and restriction. One can also use a large scale version, bringing out massive roots over a larger area that tangle around each other with such force that any one caught in-between is violently crushed to death.

The user places her hand on a surface, creating a long stream of sharp crystals to bind and pierce a target.

This technique lets the user condense wood from the base of the God Tree's trunk and shape it into spikes that protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes can be cut by a sword.

This technique lets the user condense mud or stone from the ground and shape it into spikes that protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes cannot penetrate targets of greater density.

This technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions in an attempt to skewer the opponent making it harder to evade.

The user creates growing thorn-like crystals that they can manipulate to continuously grow towards their target's direction.

This technique uses Iron Sand to create a gigantic sphere of branching spikes. The user first creates two masses of Iron Sand of opposing magnetic fields and then merges them together. This causes the magnetic forces to instantly increase and the repellent force created by the two opposing magnetic fields scatters the Iron Sand across a vast area.

The Iron Sand spreads in spikes that branch off irregularly, making it almost impossible to get a clear overview of what is happening. This also makes evading the spikes nearly impossible. Even if the opponent has managed to evade getting hit, the Iron Sand spikes will have filled the entire surroundings, cutting off any escape routes. With the opponent trapped, the user is free to attack in person.

With Sasori soaking the Iron Sand in his lethal poison, the technique is even deadlier, as one nick will bring fatal repercussions.
