APPEARANCE HEIGHT 4’5’’ WEIGHT 80 lbs. Inu is small child. To boot, he is also tiny as far as his muscular build is concerned. He has fair skin, and his complexion is pretty much even. His hair is black and never styled, appearing perpetually ruffled. He has dark brown eyes and a baby face that helps him with his "little shit" look. He also has the characteristic "tubby" belly of a boy who doesn't realize exercise and drinks too many fizzy drinks. In terms of clothing, he usually wears shorts and short-sleeved shirts for comfort. He doesn't like to wear his headband over his forehead because his hair interferes with it, so he wraps it around his right leg instead. In battle, he wears a book bag to carry his fūma shuriken, and has two shuriken holsters strapped to either thigh.

PERSONALITY NINDO — “I just want to belong.” Inu is a brat. He doesn't adhere to authority unless it is forced upon him, or unless he is bullied into it. In fact, his young life was filled with many lashings, and still would be if not for how much time he spends away from home. He believes himself to be more important than other people seem to believe; not because he has a superiority complex, but because he sees intrinsic worth in all human beings, and doesn't feel that he (or anyone really) has ever been treated like he really matters. To his parents, he is more like a commodity, a slave born to do their bidding. To his village, he is more like tool, a spear to be thrown and often times left in the chest of the one who he pierced. Because of this, his view of authority is grim, and ironically, his view of people is just as bad. Which makes him a hypocrite, because he doesn't really respect anyone. He values them, yes, in a way he treats them worse than other people ever would. But, in another sense, at least he doesn't pretend. Because of this, he comes off as rude. Which is sometimes accurate, but other times, he just tries not to ever pretend because he believes that people deserve greater respect than that—another contradiction. The fact that most people prefer their “own truth” to the truth doesn't escape him; rather, he is compelled by a hope in men to speak the truth and demolish illusion insofar as he can. Among other things, this perspective causes him to seem odd and weird, and this is true. Social norms and conventions are mostly dismissed in his mind, so he does not quite grasp them. And because of his approach to people pushing people away, he has never learned to socialize. He expresses himself awkwardly, jumbling his ideas and concepts and then stumbling once he finally speaks. The only exception is when he is being humorous, and sometimes when dealing with subjects that he loves or knows a lot about. This flaw has made Inu a boy of a action. He feels most comfortable when doing things, and learns best when put into action. Theory seems to confuse him, and structure bores him, so he also tends to be whimsical. This makes him prone to risky adventures and adrenaline-filled behaviors. However, this isn't just because he is “dimwitted”. He is also suffering and needs relief and distraction, and his sensationalist pursuits provide both of these things. Beyond this, he is also pretty silly, often in crude way. Through sarcasm and irony (mostly of the Socratic sort), he employs his parents’ tactics, dismissing people and reducing their positions to absurdity, employing various fallacies and knocking down straw-men of his own creation. It is a crude sort of defense mechanism where he tries to beat people to the punch—hurting them before they hurt him, pushing them away before they leave him. Combined with the fact that, even when his humor is light, he fails to ever display how he really feels about things, seeming to never take anything or anyone seriously, he has always ended up accidentally ruining relationships that he actually wanted to keep. This has caused him to see himself as unlikable, and even as someone who can never be loved. These are not yet fully formed ideas within his mind, granted, only inklings and impressions that press against the back of his brain. So, he has submitted himself as a tool to his village, and has even began to serve his parents, in order to belong somewhere. He is, essentially, accepting that he will never have anything more.

HISTORY Inu was born to a pair of rather normal parents, who did rather normal things, who had him for rather normal reasons, Inu supposes. So on top of them being like the worst parents ever, they were horribly dull. As he grew, he was always somewhat occupied with his four siblings, with him being the second-youngest of the four, but he never seemed to click with his parents. Something about the way that they would only ever pay him mind if he was messing up or either when they wanted him to do something never sat right with him. And in time, this became enmity. As a runt, he was often picked on, and his siblings never helped him. Not that he expected them to. It was his tongue that seemed to start all the fuss anyway, so why should that concern them? It was his problem. Not theirs. He was his problem, not theirs. But he still found himself drifting from them, gradually at first, and then ever-increasing. By the time that he entered the academy, he was alone. And he had no one to go to about his failures and shortcomings. Not really. He could talk to his younger sibling, but it wasn't like said sibling was old enough to get it. So he eventually stopped doing that, too. The only notable thing about his young life was that, before he graduated the academy, he did something possibly criminal. Using his tongue, he coerced boy after boy into fighting him to test his skills. He lost many of those fights, but as time went on, and ideas came to his mind, and tongue grew in dexterity, he had started an "underground" rink of combat between the boys of the village, both shinobi and otherwise, that was filled with hand-to-hand and goodness and friendly combat, even coming to the point where boys with beef would settle their conflict their like men, earning one another's respect. (It in fact became an unspoken rule to not respect anyone who competed there.) He graduated just recently, having mastered the academy techniques enough to call himself a potential shinobi. Though he has not gotten his hopes up about escaping rejection. He firmly believes that he may never become a Genin, especially not this year, and so instead places his hopes in his little rink of merry men.

TAIJUTSU: SKILL RANK:(E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Inu's competency in Taijutsu isn't enough to receive any shinobi-derived merit. Rather, he is a brawler. He knows how to fight, but doesn't have any above-average skill or shinobi-like ability, being just as good as any old brat with a knack for fighting and a knack for getting hit because of his tongue. BUKIJUTSU: SKILL RANK:(E) SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: The one thing that Inu showed some competency with was his ability to launch projectiles and use weapons, the former due to an actual level of competency while the latter derives from his body's memories of the forms and movements and theories of different art forms (which he learned, himself, from books and illustrations). With shurikenjutsu, he displays fine accuracy and consistency. It isn't just that he can hit a bulls-eye, but that even when he has thrown a projectile several times, he misses the bulls-eye only by an inch so. So, his margin of error is incredibly tight. This is credited to things like his ability to find his center-of-balance, and his uncanny ability to retain a perfect posture whether standing or moving or airborne. He does not, however, possess the where-with-all to track and measure wind currents, and so his skill falters during especially windy days. It makes his body hyper adaptable, the ideal body to be experimented on, possessing the potential for great durability and endurance. He also possesses the potential to have his body evolve after contact with harmful substances, or even to self-evolve by manipulating his genetic structure through techniques. However, at the current time, the ability has simply manifested itself as a type of hyper-kinesthetic form of learning. This means, in short, that he learns best through his body, his actions, and his physical experiences. Particularly, he has developed great muscle memory over the years, able to perfectly replicate forms and movements and hand seals with great precision; and since his replication of movements is so accurate, the accuracy of his movements never really seems to change, even in cases of fatigue. The Power of the Tongue Inu is a young man of both sharp words and fine tongue, a witty little devil who can separate the spirit from the soul through his speech. He has always known just how to pierce a person with his words to dishevel them; not because he is particularly attentive towards people's personalities, because he has such a sharp awareness of the crude and impure. Sometimes he can tear people down, and other times he can only anger them, and other times he can only shock them, and other times he can only rattle them, but is ability to get some type of reaction is like a spear thrown by a seasoned warrior, and his aim is true. However, the same is true in the reverse. If he really cared enough, Inu could easily build someone up, giving them a jolt of morale that they never had before. However, this is much more rare.
