Hi all,
So I know this may be asking more than I should given my current absence (legitimate reasons or not), but given IB's current absence, I had a thought regarding Yowabi's future. Yowabi was intended to be the child of Niwa (Tsuchikage) and Issho (Hokage); however, with IB gone the initial plan for Yowabi to live and grow up with Issho (and not know his mum) is null at the moment. My appeal is as follows:
1) Have Yowabi grow up under Niwa's care, and thus be a genin of Iwa. Presumably, Niwa would keep Yowabi regardless of his heritage, wanting him to be raised in her "proper" care (as opposed to Issho's).
1b) Given Issho's (potential NPC status) or interim replacement, Yowabi's situation will be reverse; i.e. he will have no knowledge of his father or his Uchiha heritage as of creation. As well, he would remain half Uchiha (and this will still be the dominant inheritence [meaning he won't gain any Uzumaki abilities, given I already have an Uzumaki]), however his Sharingan heritage will at this time remain dormant.
2) With Ret possibly making an interim for the hokage, the eventual knowledge of Yowabi's existence being known in Konoha (perhaps once he activates the Sharingan and word makes it to through the vine to the interim leader?), it could create a potential plot device between Iwa and Konoha.
3) Between Yowabi and Niwa, I have a doton-based shogi/chess jutsu tree planned that would develop through his love for shogi and playing against his mum. If nothing else, this could be a personal character development plot device that could naturally progress as Yowabi works through each rank (each rank of techniques getting progressively stronger as he plays more games against Niwa).
4) I do really like the idea of a kage-child relationship, and would have every intent of keeping that alive and active (and I'm sure bel would do his best to do likewise). I very much plan for Yowabi and Niwa to have a very healthy relationship. He would respect and look up to her, but also be able to question her at times without fear of getting beaten or something to that nature.
Cheers,
- Fio
