The large Konohagakure moon shined brightly within the night sky, numerous stars could be seen stuck within the darkness above. The wind blew across the great grass sea, giving an amazing view of the large blades of grass dancing in the night. Issho walked on a dirt path that had been made many years earlier, probably even out dating the Kage himself. He smiled as he walked, wearing his usual blue colored uchiha clan kimono held together by a large black sash and a pair of grey pants.


His clothes danced in the wind as he reached his destination. Shoyo Gai, the crumbling City built by the ancients, the city was the perfect areana for the three strongest Uchiha to have an exhibition exercise. He had told the other two participants that they were to have a free for all combat scenario, the object of the exercise was to be the shinobi to come out on top, however their battleground would be the Shoyo Gai, the crumbling city.


It gave the three shinobi a large area to fight within, making the spar even harder. Issho made it an order that once they had arrived within the city the exercise would begin, there wouldn't be a meeting nor would there be a need to exchange pleasantries. It would be a battle of shinobi, unpredictable and spontaneous. As the Hokage got closer and closer to Shoyo, he could hear the sounds of his shinobi fighting within it's streets. During the creation of the hidden village, Issho and his council turned the crumbling ruins into one of Konoha's most deadly training grounds.


Issho could only smile, the sounds of Konoha's might echoed through the air. Issho tooked to the streets as his usual self, walking slowly with an air of fragility. He bathed in the sounds of the random shinobi around him. Dodging a few blocks of debris he happened to walk in the way of. The Hokage had been home for a while, it had taken a few months for the Village to come to terms with his new appearance. During his fight with the Mizukage, the man would undergo a drastic change, that not only affected his body but also his fighting style.


Since the fight Issho had been pushing himself further and harder, he wouldn't let some jutsu take away what he had built. Luckily, Issho's genius mind and prowess as a shinobi helped him recreate his fighting style. The new and improved abilities he mastered had come to a surprise to Issho, while he didn't have his dense chakra any longer, Issho had unlocked the Mangekyou and the ability to manipulate it's flames. He had created jutsu from these flames and added other's to his arsenal, to replace those he couldn't use anymore. Overall, he had become better than he once was.


" I wonder what area they entered the city in... maybe I should let them know I'm here" Issho said scratching the back of his head. Issho had made it a point to note that he wanted them to be stealthy, while it wasn't a assassination or espionage type of exercise. He didn't want a quick fight, and he chose Shoyo gai as the battleground for that exact reason. The crumbling buildings and the shinobi training upgrades Issho had implemented made this one of the best places to have different types of battles in one area. Such as close-quarters, within the crumbling buildings to fighting on water within the city's flooded south end. Even Shoyo Gai's sewers have been converted into a deadly arena.


Issho decided he'd make his move, doing the confrontation seal, Issho used the shadow clone jutsu and create two shadow clones. The clones creates were exact copies of Issho, even wielding his infamous three tomoe sharingan. " Find them and begin the fight" Issho told the shadow clones. The clones disappeared, one going to find Uchiha Aki, the other going to search for Uchiha Nikano. While the real Issho walked slowly down Shoyo Gai's main street, having used the main entrance to enter the village despite telling the others to be more shinobi like.

{Jutsu Used}Shadow Clone Jutsu - 2 Clones

Nikano had already arrived at Shoyo Gai, tucked within a small opening in a tall pillar The opening wasn't natural, carved out by a genin with doton release. Do to it being made by a much smaller person, Nikano was barely able to squeeze himself in when he arrived. Thankfully do to the fact that Doton surrounded him on nearly every side, and his outfit blending in with the shadows that cloaked him, it was near impossible to see him, unless someone had Byakugan. Long before any of them were supposed have even began preparing to set out for Shoyo Gai, Nikano had arrived and begun preparations for traps. The easiest ones for him to set up where the ones for Issho, as he knew him well. He knew Issho would enter through the front, as if to say 'come at me'. Issho was tall and imposing, even now after his severe change, and he knew this well. Aki however was the harder of the two. He knew next to nothing about Aki, with the exception of Nikano being his mirror. Both had around the same skill with their sharingan, although Nikano obviously more so as it was required to be clan head, and both were around the same skill in ninjutsu and genjutsu, even possessing the same chakra natures. However, while Nikano was MUCH better with genjutsu, Aki was the opposite, being better with ninjutsu. Nikano however didn't focus on that, only on his surroundings. As he waited, he could hear what sounded like Issho near by, but couldn't quite make it out if it was him or not. It was clear the voice was talking to someone, and was ordering whoever it was to find the others. As the other moved away, and the other walked closer, Nikano used his Daito to catch a reflection. Do to the shade he was in, no light reflected to give him way. However this also meant that he could only get a vague aoutline of who it was. Luckily, the shadow of a figure he got had a giant afro, so he knew it was Issho. This also meant that he was likely talking to two clones, whom he had sent to search for Nikano and Aki. He knew Issho, he would not brings followers, ANBU, or even use summons if he had any. This was a battle between Uchiha as he had intended, and it would be that way. Nikano would listen to Issho's footsteps now that he knew they belonged to Issho. He would wait until he heard Issho near the tall pillar he was in. Before arriving, Nikano had used the Gunbai Fan to create several huge cuts into the pillar, noticably in the middle and higher areas. While Issho would notice the difference, even without sharingan, Nikano knew it would not set off any red flags. When even chuunin, let alone jonin, trained here such deep cuts appearing on objects would be normal for such a dangerous area. Nikano had even made sure that they looked just like what would appear in an average battles, and even waited minutes at a time between cuts so they would not all be made at the same time. Nikano's sharingan gave him the clarity to see through traps with such level of detail, and thanks to that he also knew how to fool the Sharingan. He made sure nothing would stand out. The second he heard Issho get close enough, assuming he didn't suddenly decide to change directions, Nikano would pull hard on his razor wire, causing it to pull hard on on the middle cuts on the pillar, pulling through the aged stone. Nikano was ever so thankful for the cutting abilities of razor wire. As the top half pillar fell, Nikano quickly moved behind it, staying out of Issho's sight. Nikano knew Issho, and that there was a high possibility he'd take the pillar head on and destroy it. As such Nikano waited behind it, Gunbai drawn. Any ninjutsu he used to break the pillar would fly into the Gunbai and be reflected back at him as a gigantic blast of wind. If he didn't use ninjutsu and merely used weaponry or his own body, a large blade of wind capable of cutting through the pillar like butter would follow. Any chakra put into the Gunbai to make wind was already stronger then most fuuton ninjutsu. If one with Fuuton chakra, like Nikano, put chakra already convereted into fuuton into the gunbai, it would become three times as strong as normal. This was what made the gunbai deadly in his hands, and even the smallest amount of chakra he put into the gunbai capable of heavy injuries. However, in the off chance that Issho had decided to dodge, Nikano had prepared for that too. Littered no more than an inch beneath the ground around the area were explosive tags. They weren't strong enough to kill, but enough to break Issho's legs should he land on them. Nikano wasn't going to take this fight lightly. This wasn't just with a member of the clan, but the Hokage. If he didn't go at him with what would kill most shinobi, Issho would defeat him easily.

The light of the moon met with the fair skin of the figure that moved towards Shoyo Gai in the midst of the night. The sections of his clothing made of cloth were rippling with the fresh breeze of the twilight air and his hair rustled to the side, revealing a scarred and closed eye beneath his bands. A sly, perhaps even intentionally maniacal grin twisted across the shinobi's face, as every fiber in his being reveled in the realization of tonight's events. Issho Uchiha, the Nidaime Hokage himself, and the Uchiha Clan's leader Nikano had organized to have a city-wide free-for-all with Aki to determine which of the Uchiha's Big Three was the mightiest shinobi. The arts of war were something Aki himself was very passionate about, he could feel his blood boiling with anticipation as he entered the city a little later than the agreed time, but still within a passable amount that it would not be noticeable. Not that it mattered, as he had cloaked his entrance by following one of the more discreet paths of the city, sticking to the shadows and moving both deftly and with conscience, each stroke of his legs as he moved deliberate and precise. Issho had asked that Nikano and Aki treat this like a Shinobi mission, with stealth being a priority rather than the more spectacular and showing displays of might that each were capable of. As he moved towards the center street in order to find where his opponents would be hiding, he halted his movements with acute precision, stopping mere moments before another step connected with the earthen ground of the crumbling building he passed through. He had picked up on a small sound, barely audible to most, but a trained Shinobi would notice. The quiet footsteps moved towards him, and he leaned into the darkness of the wall and waited for the moment to strike. He pounced from the wall, one fist placed against the opposing palm as he swept his elbow towards the shadowy figure of Issho Uchiha's shadow clone. This was going to be a long night, and Aki intended to conserve as much chakra as he could.

The Hokage wasn't one to be caught off guard, his time as a ninja had made him cautious and calculating. As he walked down the main street of Shoyo Gai, he had already figured the two Uchiha would make it to the city before him. It was partially due to Issho's own knowledge of shinobi warfare, but more so due to his won arrogance and confidence in the shinobi under his command.

Issho, in regards to himself wasn't an arrogant man and wasn't one to boast about his own abilities. Instead, he would let his skills do the talking, usually with him challenging the person in question. Because of this Issho had created his shadow clones, and would use them to his benefit. He he ordered the two clones to search for the two Uchiha, he didn't say how.

The first Uchiha to make their move was Uchiha Nikano, after the clone had disappeared it would reappear some ways down from where Issho created it, although still on the main street. The Original Issho not soon after take to the roof tops, moving along the crumbling buildings while the copy of him continued his original pace after reappearing. As the clone walked forward, his opponents would make their move. Issho's clone wasn't sure which of the uchiha it was, but the shinobi would use the surrounding landscape to their advantage. Admittedly, Issho was surprised that one of them would use the building to attack him.

However, this would not be enough to stop him. As the pillar came crashing down, the clone would focus doton chakra within it's mouth, creating a small pebble of earth. Being an exact clone of the Hokage, the shadow clone was endowed with Issho's chakra control, allowing for him to focus his chakra and shoot the pebble within the moments the pillar was falling. As the pebble soared through the air, it would expand into huge boulder, easily dwarfing the size of the falling pillar. The two earthen constructs would clash, the boulder would crush the pillar however, not without losing it's form. Sending shards of jagged rocks on a path for both the clone and whoever had attacked.

Meanwhile...

The original Issho had seen the entire altercation unfold, he had even witnessed Nikano jump behind the Pillar, in an effort to hide himself from his target. Issho would go on to create yet another shadow clone as Nikano made his move. Then the man would jump off the roof tops and onto another street, before moving deeper within the city. Leaving yet another shadow clone behind.


Issho had already gained the upper hand, Nikano was preoccupied by the first clone and left himself wide open. This was something that no shinobi should do when fighting someone of Issho's level, luckily for Nikano, the Hokage's personality wouldn't allow for him not to reprimand the jounin, giving away his position. "OiOI!! Nikano... Looks like I got the drop on you huh? Are you sure you're one of my shinobi?" the clone said as it used the Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu, to create yet another clone of the Hokage.

The earth release element was Issho's natural chakra element, as such doton jutsu was a stample within his arsenal. Not only this, but Issho knew the abilities of the Uchiha Gunbai, with the earth release element being a natural weakness to wind the clone would use this to his advantage. Both clones would leap from the rooftop with great force, propelling themselves towards Nikano.

The earth release clone would be the first to reach him, aiming a massive punch at the Uchiha. The shadow clone would be second, however his pace was slower than the earth clone, waiting for Nikano to defend in whatever way. Once the earth clone and Nikano would engage each other, the shadow clone would come in with his own massive punch, carrying the might of the original Issho's strength.

Elsewhere...

Another of Issho's shadow clones had been attacked by Uchiha Aki, his attempt was less dramatic than Nikano's despite them both following Issho's orders to the letter. The only who hadn't done such was the original Issho, who was currently moving further away from both Aki and Nikano. It was slightly harder to find Aki, as the man had chose to take a more infiltration stance to entering the city, versus Nikano who had used waylay tactics. Still the two Uchiha would have there hands full, Issho's shadow clones weren't to be taken lightly.


They were an exact copy of the Nidaime Hokage, a man known as the Great Wall. As such they were armed with Issho's incredible abilities, despite being copies of the original. One such ability was Issho's reflexes and strength, which aki would come face to face with. As the man swiftly aimed a powerful elbow towards the clone. Issho would use his reflexes to catch the man's arm, then use his strength to hopefully send him flying into a near by tree.


"Oh? Aki-san? You want to go hand to hand? or would you rather we beef things up? Issho the clone said as he quickly did a string of hand seals before release a black mist from it's body that went up into the sky. Black clouds would then appear within their immediate location, releasing a flammable rain of oil onto Aki and the clone. Being a Shadow clone, this copy of Issho wasn't afraid of getting itself harmed or killed and chose to increase it's likelihood of injuring Aki by also putting itself in harms way. " Shall we begin?" the clone said as the clouds covered them in oil.

It should be noted however, out of all of the elemental clones the Iwa Bunshin is the most difficult to destroy, often taking extreme amounts of force or raiton techniques to destroy it.

Nikano was in no way surprised that Issho had taken the pillar head on. It was the most likely of all the events to happen. However he didn't attack the way he had expected. It had slipped Nikano's mind that Issho no longer possessed chakra enhanced strength. Of course Nikano had planned in case he did use ninjutsu, but that didn't change the fact that he wasn't fully prepared. seeing the boulder send pieces of debris everywhere, Nikano held the Gunbai defensively, protecting him. Any debris that was  from the pillar would bounce off as if it were a stick being thrown at a mountain. The ones that came from his earth style ninjtusu however, those were merely absorbed into the gunbai. However, even thought he had done much damage to the pillar, it was still very much so falling, and piece as wide as the street itself would still fall. Even though  it was riddled with holes, none of them would be big enough for Issho, whom unknown to Nikano was merely a shadow clone, to go through. As such, if the clone did not body flicker, he would be crushed. As insurance, Nikano mixed a minuscule amount of his own wind chakra in with the doton-turned-futon- chakra in the gunbai, before sending it all out with a wave of his gunbai. Rather than make it into a blade of wind, it was merely a strong burst of wind, doubling the speed at which the remains of the pillar would fall. Unfortunately for Nikano, he had more than one Issho to fight. He turned as a clone of Nikano gave away its position, also while making an earth clone. Nikano, being an ANBU, had guarded Issho multiple times. On top of that, he had spent many recent years with him, and sparred with him too. Nikano and Issho knew each others tactics probably as much as they did their own. The fact that they had announced themselves before attacking meant that these were clones, and not the real one. While the real Issho would have announced himself, he would have made sure you had no time to react afterwards. While most would think that an earth clone would be difficult for the Gunbai to absorb, it was anything but. While it was true that the Gunbai had a harder time turning earth chakra into wind chakra, it would still absorb earth at the same speed as any other. When Issho himself had picked up the gunbai, even if for a short amount of time, he himself would have found that his element took a bit longer to turn into wind. He could also likely theorize that Nikano himself had to use some of his own chakra to speed up the process. For now, Nikano would move Raiton chakra to his hand, a move he was known for, a basic raiton infuse punch. However, rather than punching as he was known for, Nikano would dodge the first attack from the earth clone. Immediately afterwards he saw the shadow clone attack with an equally powerful punch. Having only side stepped the punch from the earth clone, he was scissored between the clones. However, they were both exceedingly close, and Nikano planned to use that to his advantage. He would quickly spread it across his whole body, activated a genjutsu. Raiton: Raikochu, which would temporarily blind the clones, assuming they didn't somehow see the move coming and looked away. While it would not last long, do the sharingan, the illusion would at least take place for a few seconds, allowing Nikano to attempt to swing the gunbai at the Shadow Clone, while ducking under his thrown punch. If the weapon hit, it would take the very chakra that made the clone, and them some, into itself. Unfortunately at least half of the chakra that would have been returned to Issho would return too, and so would the information his position, and the need for back up. So he'd have to act quickly afterwards. Afterwards, and only if he had absorbed the clone, he would send a blast of wind chakra at the earth clone with some of the newly absorbed chakra. Whether this was dodged, or hit the clone and knocked it out of the genjutsu didn't matter. The point of it was to provide cover as he preformed a specific jutsu. Nikano created a clone, but the clone itself was in the exact spot as Nikano. Since it was not solid at all, he and the clone could stay in the same place. As he did this, he placed his Gunbai on his back, purposefully having it at an angle where the shadow of the gunbai itself would cover his shadow, so that he couldn't notice that the clone was merely an academy clone once Nikano himself moved. Preforming a few hand seals, Nikano created his next jutsu: the great fireball ninjutsu. The fireball would grow well over his own size, again hiding himself from the rock clone's line of sight. As it flew, it would seem as if the clone was waiting for Issho's own clone to dodge, and attack. But regardless of what he did, Nikano would face the clone from WITHIN the fireball itself, and just as Issho's rock clone moved, Nikano would seem to appear from inside the fireball, and fire a spear of raiton chakra at the clone's torso. If this hit the torso or head, that would end the clone for sure.

The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface. This technique apparently requires more than average chakra reserves and most genin should not be able to do this technique. NAME: Katon: Higakure no jutsu - [Fire Release: Hiding in Fire Technique] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Fire DESCRIPTION: Using this technique, a user can hide themselves inside a flame. Upon leaving concealment, flames burn, revealing the user. NAME: Raiton: Gian - [Lightning Release: False Darkness] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Medium CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Lightning Release DESCRIPTION: The user emits lightning in the shape of a spear from its mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This technique is capable of being focused into a straight beam, similar to a laser.

Aki's swift and forceful elbow was countered by a tight grasp of a mighty hand clamping down on his arm before throwing him, sending him barreling through the air and into a nearby tree. Aki's own reflexes and dexterity allowed him to re-adjust in the air just enough to land legs-first against the tree. Pressing his legs against the tree and pushing back to a stand before running down and back towards Issho's clone, he heard Issho's words and watched as he weaved the hand signs for 'Kokuun no Jutsu' and he stood ready to engage Issho once again. "Yes, let us begin..." Aki said as he maintained eye contact, his hand reaching for the dirt. "...Fuuton: Hoissuru!" Aki threw dirt in front of his face, using the powerful gust of wind spewed from his mouth to propel the dirt directly into the clones' eyes, hoping to distract it by affecting it's sight. He followed this up by grasping a Shuriken and swinging towards Issho hoping to either cut him or knock him back. While Aki had a lot of Katon ninjutsu at his disposal, he knew just how bad of an idea it would be to utilize it in such a flammable environment; whether or not he burnt Issho it was incredibly likely that he would burn too. While he knew he was not a clone, he was most likely only facing a clone of Issho.

The original Issho moved further away from Nikano and the clones he had created. The assessment was going according to plan. However, Issho wanted to have even more fun. The two had taken his advice to the letter and it had caused them to conserve chakra and use jutsu wisely or so the man thought. Instantly Issho would get a surge or chakra and information from one of his clones. “ So Nikano has taken out my clones. I knew he would….” Using the information gathered from the clone, Issho knew the entire outcome of the engagement and took note of the amount of jutsu Nikano used.



Nikano was a clever man, his use of jutsu in tandem with each other was his trade mark. This fighting style would completely overwhelmed his opponents just as it did Issho's clones. However, this type of fighting would prove dangerous for him when fighting Uchiha Issho. This wasn’t because of Issho’s prowess or his status as leader of the hidden leaf. Instead, it was because the original Issho wouldn’t engage the two shinobi himself until they had either cornered him or figured out a way for him not to escape. That being said, it was time for Issho’s first surprise he had planned for his fellow Uchiha.



Making his way to one of the many hidden bunkers within the crumbling city. Issho would meet up with an ominous looking person. The guy had staples, and sutures running along his entire body, holding together different colored patches of skin. In all the man looked as if he were Frankenstein's monster. He wore an all white cloak embellished with the term “Kenkyu” which meant Research. The man’s cloak draped the stone floor of the hidden bunker as he escorted Issho deep within its confines. “Are they ready for Test one”? Issho asked as they made their way down a corridor filled with the many different creatures of the Hi no kuni forest. Some cells even housed humans with ancient looking artifacts grafted onto their bodies.



The Hokage was proud of his collection, he had started with only a few animals back during the unification of the clans. Once Konoha had been founded, Issho’s collection grew to the size of at least ten different animal species and even a few humans who were unlucky enough to peak his interest. The man stopped and gave Issho an ominous smile “the human specimens are ready my lord.” He said in response to Issho’s question. The Hokage nodded, moving down the corridor to where the human experiments were being held. The Hokage would stop in front of a mindless warrior he had named the juggernaut. Issho frowned, he could tell the man had lost his mind due to the ancient artifact embedded within his back. “Lets wait on the human specimens until they regain their sanity. Kill this guy and harvest the artifact.” Issho turned away and walked back to the door before stopping suddenly in front of a staircase that led underground.



“This leads to the Nidhogg? Release it… let’s see how the two Uchiha will fair against a beast that predates all of us” Issho’s voice had grown considerably dark as he spoke. The Nidhogg was one of Issho’s favorite creatures. A beast which looked like both snake and lizard, it towered over humans being 15 ft tall, despite its size it could move at incredibly fast speeds. It also had a prehensile tail, and razor sharp claws and fangs. It was incredibly venomous as well and its senses were enhanced to a great degree. The Nidhogg, Issho had acquired was incredibly strong and durable. It was so durable that no normal weapon is known to be able to penetrate its hide. That is except for truly powerful weapons or one of its own claws.



Elsewhere…



The battle between Uchiha Aki and Issho’s remaining clone had just begun. Aki was nimble, the uchiha was able to break his fall and launch himself towards Issho’s clone. Using the tree to his advantage Nikano would soar towards the Clone kage and buffet him with a gust of dirt laced wind. The combination caused the clone to momentarily rub it’s eyes, while it only lasted mere moments the distraction was enough to allow Aki to land a hit on the clone. The combination was flawlessly pulled off, the wind and dirt combo had not only pushed the clone back but also caused it to save its sharingan from damage by closing and rubbing its eyes. This left the clone open for Aki's shuriken which would embed themselves into the clone’s torso.



“Surprise huh? The shadow clone jutsu makes exact copies of the user. Meaning I also have Issho’s durability. Weak attacks like this won’t make me disappe…” the clone was Interrupted by the sharp claws of the Nidhogg. The creatures claws sliced the clone in half, creating two vertical halves of it’s body before it disappeared in a cloud of white smoke. The large beast stared at Aki, sniffing the air and then flickering its tongue before it spoke. “Issho-nii said to play with the two ninja…” the beast said without it’s lips even moving. Its voice was soft like that of a young boy and it seemed to be coming from within Aki's head, rather than him actually hearing it.

Nikano focused his mind. He had to figure out where Issho would hide. There were plenty of areas for him to hide, but Issho would not be that simple. Issho would choose somewhere  that wasn't obvious. He knew Nikano would expect him to choose the obvious, because normal shinobi would expect him to do such. So, where else was there to hide? A few seconds after the thought crossed his mind Nikano's answer came, but not in the way he expected. He could see the Nidhogg from his roof standing. He couldn't hide from it, it could smell chakra. So his only option was to fight it. He also had to make sure Aki didn't kill it, he had worked hard to capture it for Issho, and had lost a partner on the mission. Sighing heavily, Nikano body flickered straight to the beast, holding his Daito at the ready. Between his Sharingan, his ANBU knowledge, and body flicker speed, he would aim to quickly cut the tendon of its bottom left ankle, it's achilles heal. Regardless of if it somehow dodged or not, Nikano slid next to Aki, staring at the beast. "This is the legendary Nidhogg. It can smell chakra, and is, incase it wasn't obvious, very strong. You distract it with ninjutsu, but do not kill. That is an order." Nikano said, speaking from experience with the beast. Nikano had not long ago been assigned to capture the beast. Their encounter was a strange one. When he got there, it talked to him telepathically, claiming to have smelt his chakra from several meters away. Of course immediately afterwards he used Temple of Nirvana and took it back to Issho. This unfortunately meant it was not going to fall for the same genjutsu. His eyes however...it never saw his eyes. So that was the plan: Eye of Hypnosis. He was the better of the two fighting it when it came to using the Eye of hypnosis. Hell, his was the best of the three there, although this mostly came from his...other abilities. For now, Nikano would withdraw to the end, letting Aki take the initiative.
