HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT Tennin Mitsu They were supposed to be training. That grumpy old mountain man had dropped them off in the village. Why? Who knew. Maybe he was having some good time with the men or the drink. Mitsu wasn’t quite sure. Normally she would have tagged his ass wherever he was going and caused him a bit of embarrassment. But he was getting wise to her tricks and antics. The sensei of their squad was learning how to give her the slip. All the more irritating, he knew how to block out her telepathy too. With a bit of a huff, Mitsu would return to what she was supposed to be doing.
Training with the Kage and her teammate.
Because... genin were supposed to be working! Being in the mountains was great. It was like living at home. Being back in the village was... odd. So many people and most didn’t even know one another. All these shops, not a lot of working together. It was kind of a mess. Walking through the districts of Kumogakure, she’d eventually start venturing up to some of the taller ledges of shops. One of them having a lookout over a residential area, Mitsu would hoist her little body up on top of a railing. Who even needed these anyway? Whistling a little tune, she wasn’t exactly where they were all supposed to be meeting. But at this point she didn’t care~

♔Rai was bored which was always dangerous whenever she was bored things seemed to break much more easily. Which isn't to say that things didn't break when she was entertained because they did it just took longer, though usually when excited the amount of things breaking at once increased, So she was trying to be on her best behavior which meant she was currently zipping around some weirdo village on her roller blades not really paying attention to where she was going until she ended up in the place she was supposed to be meeting the kage and her team at.
She took a high speed turn and realized too late that there was an old lady in her path. She bent her legs and jumped over the old lady, however, like always she put a bit too much energy in her jump and wound up overshooting her original target for landing. This caused her wheels to propel her further ahead then she intended and she headed straight over a railing and down a small cliff.
She didn't panic as this was almost an everyday occurrence. Instead she enjoyed her time flying over the cliffs edge and used it to scope out the tiny village. This was when she spotted Mitsu whom she had entered the village with before getting separated due to her wandering. She was perched on a railing and it looked as if she was waiting so Rai figured that was the meeting place which was good because she had forgotten where it was entirely.
She angled herself toward Mitsu and hit the ground hard before skidding to a stop and slightly falling before crashing into the railing slightly laughing the whole way. She wasn't clumsy or anything it was more like she was incredibly reckless and didn't think to far ahead, that coupled with a things work out in the end attitude and underestimating her own almost unending supply of energy tended to make for a lot of crash landings and broken things in her surroundings. So here she sat right next to Mitsu with her back to the view laughing her head off. "I hope I didn't ruin anyone's peaceful mood today" Rai said with a smile.

HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT Tennin Mitsu
Mitsu purposefully was blocking out her sensory abilities. She didn’t wish to hear all parts of the earth call to her. Why? Because that would have driven her batshit crazy. Sensing the chakra signature of every plant, rock, animal, person in the village, and even bombarding her head with emotional desires would have thrown her mentally straight off the cliff of sanity. So. Turn that little baby off and enjoy life!
This would be one of the reasons she wasn’t alerted to Rai’s immediate presence. 400 meters was a good distance to sense someone and she could have picked up the girl in a heartbeat! Assuming she didn’t foam at the mouth from over-stimuli. Thankfully, her teammate was not the most silent of attackers. Bombarding around on rollerblades, the Tennin that sat atop a railing would hear a loud thud and even people in Rai’s wake yelling, grumbling, and complaining about her mad antics and even trying to take out that old woman!
Ears perking up at the growing ruckus sounds, the girl would turn her head. Just in time to see Rai coming straight for the railing. Letting out a joyful laugh, Mitsu utilized her body’s natural reactions to such nonsense. Propelling her body using her legs and arms off of the railing so that when Rai made contact it didn’t shake Mitsu nor make her topple. Giggling still, landing upon the ground just as Rai had collapsed and spoke, she’d put her hands upon her hips. Shifting position, to one hip, then the other, and back again, she was moving. Now with Rai’s appearance they were that much closer!
“When things are at peace they become stagnant and boring!”
The girl laughed, throwing a playful and easily avoidable kick towards the other girl’s chest.
“Where’s the big man himself? Or are we supposed to go finding him or some nonsense?”
Referring to the Kage of Kumogakure, the one who was supposed to be training them in their sensei’s... absence.
