Michio ran along the side of the Inauspicious Amalgam Tower, or Fuyokongōmonorō. The tower of the Raikage. He honestly found the name, despite how cool it sounded, being very depressing in name. The Ill-Fated Amalgamation Tower...that was just such a shitty name! Why not the Infinite Chakra Mountain? After all it seemed to have a rainbow on it, and chakra came in a large variety of colors when concentrated enough. Honestly the only color he had seen on the tower that he had never heard of in chakra was red. It could also be the Bright Lightning Tower, named after the metal that made it up and the land it represented. Or perhaps the Spire of Light, as it spiraled and seemed to have every color light could make on it.
Michio refocused himself was he reached the roof of the tower, realizing he had passed his target. Turning on his heel, he ran back down to the entrance, biting his finger as he prepared a summoning. Just as he got near one of the vents, he placed his hand quietly on the ground, as smoke surrounded him, and a small bat appeared next to him. "Heya Michio." The feminine voice called out happily, why flying in place.
"Hey Nozarashi-sama." Michio said respectfully, as Nozarashi moved around happily. "I need your help with something." Michio told her, with a smirk on his face. Nozarashi seemed a bit confused for a second, before returning back to her normal happy expression.
"Don't tell me you plan on pranking the Raikage." She asked concerned. She didn't think he was, as the look he made when preforming pranks was different than this one, but it was similar so she wasn't sure. After all, though he was a contract holder, she hadn't known Michio long enough to know him completely.
"No no. This is about a certain goal I've had for a while." Michio said with excitement piratically radiating from his voice. He had wanted to do this ever since he had found out about the object in the first place. "We're gonna take the Raikage's hat."
Before he could explain what to do, Nozarashi bit his upper ear- her version of a motherly slap, causing Michio to wince at the sudden sharp pain. "THAT'S THE SAME AS PRANKING THE RAIKAGE!" She declared in an angered, yet motherly tone. "Do you know how much trouble you can get in for this?" Nozarashi didn't like the idea of Michio doing this in the slightest. While she didn't know him well, he had signed her contract which made him Nozarashi's newest child. Such a thing could get him hurt just from trying to break in, let alone trying from stealing from the Raikage.
"Of course. But thats why I've spent months planning this." Michio said with a somehow growing smirk. "Okay so first I transform into a snake and squeeze my way into the vent, while you split up into even smaller bats and come in too. Then I transform into a scroll carrier that you carry on your back, afet i turn into a hawk. As we sneak in through the vents, we'll find the Raikage's office and enter there. Just as your turn so that your back isn't facing him, I'll switch places with my transformed Raiden, and move as a viper towards the hat. Once I have it, I'll transform back and summon more of you, so you can distract them as I flee out the window."
It was at this moment that Nozarashi realized how dedicated Michio was to doing this prank of his. He was willing to lend her Raiden, a blade that rarely left his possession, to her temporarily to obtain the hat. She couldn't help but be conflicted here. On one side, this could lead to him getting punished severely. On the other, the fact that he had devoted such time to this overly complicated plan and that it meant so much to him, she didn't want to take that away from him. Unfortunately, since the hawk needed to keep moving after Michio used it as a cover, it hinged on her cooperation. Nozarashi let out an audible sigh, reasoning he could have done worse, as at least nothing physically bad would happen to him. "Alright. But you must promise me to never try this until you are chuunin if we fail."
"Deal." Michio said, doing a quick hand seal to turn into a snake. As this happened, Nozarashi split into thousands of tiny versions of herself, both moving through the vent and into the air ducts. As Nozarashi reformed, Michio motioned with his newly obtained tail to move her a bit away. Once she did Michio transformed back, being able to fit pretty well do to being a kid. Doing a hand seal, he touched Nozarashi and turned her into a hawk. "the jutsu should last just long enough to get us there." He notified her as he transformed into the scroll carrier. She flew them until they got to a room where Michio spoke from the carrier. "This is it go in!" He said energetically. Nozarashi entered through the duct, the vent noticeably missing. Michio had planned it on this day. The staff were doing some maintenance and cleaning to keep the tower well maintened. Most of the vents, with the exception of the highest one- which was only reachable by shinobi and those with a lift, were taken down to be dusted.
Hopefully though, Michio was right in that the Raikage wouldn't be in during this time. He was about to find out as Nozarashi looked around the room to see if anyone was there.
