APPEARANCE HEIGHT -- WEIGHT -- Omo's appearance is different from most Sunagakure shinobi who usually tend to hide their skin from the harsh sun. However, Omo actually enjoys the heat and his manner of dress reflect such. Instead of wearing the usual no skin shown type of attire the Suna inhabitants are accustomed to, he wears normal street clothes and sleeveless tops and a mesh shirt- armor underneath his top for some protection. Lastly, Omo wears a pair of black pants complete with a pair of shinobi sandals that's wrapped in black bandages from his shin to his toes. He has spiky blond hair matching eyebrows. He also has pierced ears. Omo is what some would be considered handsome in terms of the structure of his face however his eyes have black sclera with yellow irises, caused by the constant use of his kekkei Genkai. Lastly, Omo's body, usually his arms are always covered in a layer of Sagin or silver dust giving the affected area of his body silverish color. | ||||||||
PERSONALITY NINDO -- Are you afraid of the dark? Omo is very laid-back and easygoing, speaking rather slowly, He takes everything lightly regardless of the severity of the moment. Even in surprising, perilous and unexpected situations, Omo is hardly shocked keeping his usual persona intact. This makes him completely calm and cool-headed, even in tense situations. He speaks in a politely sarcastic manner and is very mocking towards his enemies, such as mocking someone for being too weak. He often taunts and belittles his foes and friends in and out of battle, such as taunting and comparing his teammates or Sensei with his opponents. There are two quirks about Omo; the first is his insatiable craving for new experiences. Unfortunately for the his team, this makes him quite absent-minded and irresponsible, judging by the fact that Omo craves the stimulation of new people and places. His frequent off-course detours frustrated both teammates and enemies alike. In addition, his curious attitude and naïve comments during fights are often mistaken by his opponents as poking fun at them. This is only because the situation usually turns into a new experience for him. In many cases, people wouldn't understand whether Omo is serious or not due to his bizarre actions and constant questions. The second is his slightly macabre side to his personality, as he often points out gross or morbid facts, usually to the disgust of his teammates. This is also where Omo's slightly pragmatic side come into play because he is more than likely the first to speculate that a person has met or will meet with a horrible fate, often going into grisly detail. As such Omo will mostly express enthusiasm for anything dealing with the macabre or something he's never seen/experienced, with anything else receiving his usual unimpressed persona. | ||||||||
HISTORY Born into a world which only knew struggle, strife, and hatred, Omo would witness the cruelty of the world first hand, losing both his mother and father to the Ten-tails. Luckily, his mother's side of the family carried a fragile old man, her father, who was aware of what life without family was; how it could mold people into acting out in horrible, devious ways. Having lost his own parents at an early age, growing up was a struggle, it grew increasingly difficult when one did not have a shoulder to cry on, a loved one to convey their emotions to. Damned if he would ever live to see his only daughter's son, his grandson walk a similar path, immediately he had taken the boy under his wing as a care-giver, a guardian. Omo was always a rowdy child, found usually running about his grandfather's estate, and getting into trouble. He was particularly fond of playing in his grandfather's armory, a room lost in time, reminiscent of his grandfather's golden days, when the Sakyu clan was revered throughout Kaze no Kuni. Omo would usually pretend to be a warrior in the war that was being waged--the life of war, of ninja was usually what he aspired to live. It was glamorous for him. However, times were not easy. Unable to avoid the unimaginable battle between the Ichibi and Nanabi, Tenzo was called to duty yet again. Like his daughter, Tenzo was a shinobi of Sunagakure, an aged veteran who had managed to live a life well past the normal life expectancy of a shinobi; because of this, even in his seasoned age he was called upon to battle the raging beasts. Finally, Omo would witness first hand at how cruel and cold the ninja world truly was. All around him, through his eyes he saw nothing but sadness, the sight of his friends as they were given the grave news of their loved ones deaths. At the time, they were mere children, unable to grasp a firm hold on the lives their parents, brothers, sisters and loved ones had. At the age of 8 years old and after joining the Academy did Omo begin to see the true colors of the world; along with feeling uncomfortable, mainly for the safe return of his grandfather, Tenzo. Sadly, Tenzo did not return dying in a bloody battle that would earn him the name Tenzo of blood soaked sand, while marking his grandson an orphan. Once again, Omo was on his own, growing up on the streets of sunagakure without a family wasn't as bad as most thought. Omo had met and befriended so many of Sunagakure's villagers, some nice and others not so nice, though only two students stood out among all of them, Yassin Emasari and Purachina shiro. Omo didn't care too much for the other two students at first. This was because they also hailed from his clan and he would hastily group them together with the overbearing Adults of the Sakyu, who forced their children into harsh practices. During his first few years of the academy all the students would treat the boy horrible, this was because of Omo being an orphan. However, Omo would become great friends with two Sakyu clan members because they two had lost their families. From this point on, the three of them vowed to be each other's family and would become sworn siblings, even going as far to do the cliche blood pact, by cutting their palms and shaking hands. As the years went by, the group would create such a bond that they were usually always seen together, only not being together when either of them were personally training. Being the weirdo boy he was, Omo's personality was quite the oddity. He lacked all signs of modesty, tact and even the concept of personal space. Especially when it came to his siblings as he was most comfortable with them, even to the point of joining them when they were at the villages bath houses. Despite the harsh realities of the world, Omo wouldn't be given the chance or time to grieve. This could be said for any Sakyu who were unfortunate enough to lose their parents as the clan held fast to their survival of the fittest philosophy. Because of this and their distaste for easy handouts, Omo was expected to keep going despite being an orphan. Omo's clan was not for the faint of heart, many of the clan's training methods were rough, unyielding and steadfast. However, Omo had been born a prodigy and not only showed s natural gift for ninjutsu but Taijutsu as well. This by no means, meant that Omo had it easy, no the Sakyu are defined by their shinobi lifestyle, and live very rough lives. This insured that despite Omo being the clans prodigy he wouldn't get any special privileges and would have to endure the same as any other. Omo would go on to solidify his future as he begin discovering his strengths and weaknesses among the different jutsu styles. This is when Omo discovered that he was one of the few Sakyu who wielded the powerful Kekkei Genkai, Jiton. Once his bloodline limit had awakened the Sakyu, who took great pride in their next generation would intensify the boy's training as only a small number of the clan members would manifest the Jiton release element. Omo would be one of three academy students from his class to awaken the element, the other would Shiro and Emasari much to Omo's relief. The three siblings would be put through grueling training regiments to increase their control over their respective abilities. None of it would deter Omo's dream to become a shinobi and have the freedom and power to travel the entire world. Omo never knew how he came to the conclusion of his dream, however it could be contributed to the strict regiment the clan youngsters would be put through. This included strict curfews, training and studying schedules. Even though his clan was trying to prepare him for the next stages in his life. It would ultimately cause Omo to hate the clan and even developed his disrespectful personality. By the time a Sakyu would enter the academy, they would have a better control of their chakra than their peers. This wouldn't be the case with Omo, he was one of the few clan members who are born with the otherworldly "instincts" that the Sakyu were known for. Because of this he lacked the "refined" chakra control of his peers but made up for it with his natural shinobi talent. Omo's four years within the academy was a godsend compared to the rigorous training he endured within his clans compound, not to mention his flare for meeting new people had made making friends easier, despite his vulgar personality. Becoming a genin at the ripe age of 12, Omo would be placed on a team with none other than Shiro and Yassin. Given their chemistry and abilities, the three newly appointed genin balanced each other out fairly well. Their Sensei, Akira, was one of the hardest jounin sensei suna had to offer and despite her actual love for her genin, she wasn't one to bend corners or make things easier. All three of them had blossomed into a talented young ninja, utilizing the clans Magnet release element in their own unique ways. Omo's signature fighting style centered around the use of his magnetic chakra to manipulate Sagin or Silver Dust, while his teammates utilized gold and platinum dust. While this was indeed a good thing, Aikira knew they could become much more, so she started to teach them how to manipulate their respective materials in different ways, further increasing their ability as a team. Even going as far as to refining Omo's control over his chakra, allowing him to manipulate his silver dust while on the move. Team Aikira didn't see real combat for quite some time. Instead, they would train as hard as they could and take on missions, that to them seemed useless. Aikira knew that if they continue to train hard and expand their already considerable mission success rate, they would indeed take on higher ranked missions. During these "useless" missions, the entire squad would bond with their Sensei, with him becoming something like a father figure. After four years of taking on D rank and a few C rank missions, Omo and his team would be assessed for the rank of chunin. They were among a number of genin squads who would be screened to see if they had reached a level of maturity and ability that displayed primary tactical prowess. Because of Omo's squad outstanding team work they had been chosen along with the others. Each team were different, so each assessment was also. The village knew how well Omo's team worked together, what the village elders needed to see was how well they fared individually. Because of this Omo and his squad wouldn't be taking their assessment as a team, though the elders nor his jounin sensei disclose this information. The village elders and their jounin sensei wanted to make sure the assessment was as life like as possible. They needed to be sure that the team would be able to handle the next stages of their shinobi life. One day Omo's team would be assigned a mission to deliver a message to the Kaze-Ishi boarder post. The genin team left the village, on what was to supposed to be a normal missive delivery. Until tradegy struck as their jounin sensei was seemingly struck down during a confrontation with enemy shinobi. Their jounin was an amazing fighter but an even greater actor, choking out his final words. Just as their sensei and the elders had planned, the Sunagakure genin sqaud would end up separated by an invisible yet highly painful barrier. Within each of their respective barrier were tags that would allow them to escape. After brief search, Omo found his tag and quickly removed it. However, the barrier never dissipated, it was trap. Omo rushed to the center of his barrier to scan the area for another tag, that's when he saw something that completely blew his mind. Someone had created an exact clone of himself and from the looks of it, this Omo was ready to fight. Omo's Sensei and the elders had staged the mission so that each individual genin could be judged by their own abilities. Being the cunning prick that he was, it was Omo sensei's idea to utilize the Mirrored Sudden Attacker Technique. The technique which is actually a trap for someone who'd try to escape a barrier ninjutsu would be a great way to see if Omo's team were ready to become chunin. By making an exact copy of the person who removed the tag, with their appearance, weapons, battle skills, and so on Omo's Sensei would be able to determine if they ready or not because the only way to cancel this technique and defeat their copy, was to somehow push past the previous limits that they had at the time they removed the tag. Omo's teammates were also going against themselves , However, Omo didn't have time to worry about them at this moment. His clone had started its assault. The battle was fairly even as the two genin's battle raged on. Omo starting the first half of the battle with his usual battle style, which consisted of him ustilzing a cloak made from his Silver Sand for close to mid range attacks. While his clone had did the exact same, basically canceling out each other every time. Everything that Omo threw at him would only be defended by the by the same jutsu. Omo figured that because of his opponent being his exact clone, he would have to surpass himself if he wanted to get out of the barrier alive. However, the Sakyu boy was still surprised to see that the clone was entirely more resilient then normal humans. His close range silver sand jutsu wasn't strong enough and his mid range sliver sand jutsu wasn't fast enough. At this point the only thing Omo could do was defend, the battle raged on, Omo had remembered a lesson from his clan's studies, It was a lesson on advance chakra natures and their strength and weaknesses. He remembered that to make his Jiton chakra he used two different chakra natures simultaneously, suddenly Omo understood everything. The version of him he was fighting only used his Silver Sand cloak because that is what Omo used. Admittedly, the boy had never tried to use the chakra natures separate as he used them together subconsciously. The clone came at him in full force using Omo trademark Silver Sand: Cloak to end the original Omo's life. Quickly taking a military ration to increase the available chakra for his next move. He then waited for the clone to go on the offensive. This time the clone was looking to end it, apparently wanting to completely mutilate Omo's body by enclosing him in a swirling mass of razor sharp Silver sand particles. Once the clone was on the move, Omo fired a intense wave of earth chakra into the ground, causing it to rupture and large stones to erupt from the ground. The faux Omo would instantly use the Silver sand cloak to block the earth release jutsu, while propelling himself in the air. The clone did exactly as Omo would have and because the Original knew this, his next attack would be his last. Quickly stringing together a few hand signs Omo unleashed a frightening bolt of lightning that pierced through the silver sand without resistance. The clone had desperately tried to summon enough Silver sand to create a layered defense, however Omo's plan had used up most of the sparkling substance. The bolt of lightning pierced through the thin wall of forming silver sand, going straight through the clone's head, not stopping until it hit a stone pillar created from Omo's doton jutsu. Omo smiled as he fell to his knees, this had turned out to be a one of his hardest battles yet, hopefully his teammates fared as well as he did. The Sakyu boy let out a loud "ha" before collapsing unconscious. Omo awoke back in Suna's hospital, having been found by his teammates who had also won their battles and then carried back to the village. That's when he got the announcement of their promotion to Chuunin rank, gaining the rank at the ripe age of 16. As a Chuunin, Omo took on a different approach to life, the battle and the consequent "death" of himself by... basically himself. Only made him want to know more about the world. Him and his team stayed together after becoming chunin, the team work they showed and the years of experience they had together would prove useful during the missions they would take as chuunin and the next chapters in their lives. | ||||||||
SPECIALIZATIONS: NINJUTSU: SKILL RANK: C SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Being from Sunagakure's Sakyu Clan and one of the youngest wielders of the Magnet release Kekkei genkai in Sunagakure, Omo was not only trained in the arts of Ninjutsu at a young age, but would go on to master the use of his clan's Kekkei Genkai, however, being only a Chunin, Omo still has much to learn. At his current skill level, Omo's ninjutsu skills are quite impressive, he is able to use both Raiton and Doton chakra natures for multiple effects. Usually using Doton element ninjutsu to uproot or bind his opponents while he finishes them off with a final lightning release Ninjutsu. Omo's true ability with ninjutsu is shown with the use of his clan's Kekkei Genkai, the Magnet Release. By simultaneously manipulating his natural Raiton chakra element with his Doton chakra affinity, Omo is able to produce his clan's infamous Magnetic Chakra. Omo is one of the few Sakyu who uses the traditional Sunagakure style of Magnet Release, which involves the manipulation of metallic particles to mimic the very sands of Kaze no Kuni. In Omo's case, these metallic particles are known as Sagin, or Silver Sand. With the Sagin, Omo is capable of only minor offensive and supplementary feats, such as Jutsu that create localized waves of Silver Sand or enveloping his body in a cloak of Silver Sand to increase his speed, give pseudo flight or heightened defenses. It should be noted that Omo uses less "Sand' than most Sakyu, opting to use less sand for greater mobility, this makes Omo highly effective in mid to close combat situations. Being able to overwhelm most of his opponents with short bursts of Silver Sand or with quick uses of Doton or Raiton ninjutsu. TAIJUTSU: SKILL RANK: C SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Because of Omo's close to mid range combat style in Ninjutsu, he would also train his Taijutsu skill in other to balance out his overall skill set. Omo's idea when it came to Taijutsu Training was that in the event that his Ninjutsu's fail to take out his opponent or there isn't enough Sagin for him to fight with he would need to be able to protect himself until he could turn the tides of battle. This was Omo's reasoning for first learning Taijutsu. Admittedly, he had only started the training as a plan B in case his Ninjutsu had failed him. However, over the years, Omo's Taijutsu would blossom to the point of being on par with his Ninjutsu skills. That being said, his physical abilities is nothing to be trifled with, despite being a Chunin. Omo's Taijutsu ability is well pronounced, allowing him to seemingly switch from using his Silver Sand Ninjutsu to body bruising Taijutsu. Additionally, Omo's body is well-conditioned thanks to his Taijutsu training, his strength, speed and defense are well beyond those of the Sakyu who tend to only utilize their Ninjutsu capabilities. BUKIJUTSU: SKILL RANK: D SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Omo's skill with Bukijutsu isn't on the same level as his Ninjutsu or his Taijutsu, because of how the Sakyu clan uses their "weapons" Omo's Bukijutsu skills isn't a factor when it comes to utilizing his Sagin, despite it being a weapon. Omo's skill with Bukijutsu is still considered that of an official shinobi, he has mastered the basic use of shinobi weapons and even started studying in the use of larger more unconventional weapons such as Fuma Shuriken. It should be noted that, despite his skill with Bukijutsu, Omo's strength allows him to wield and crudely use heavier weapons, albeit rare. Omo only uses his Bukijutsu skills in conjunction with his Taijutsu abilities, as this means he is probably low on chakra or Silver Sand. GENJUTSU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Omo's ability in Genjutsu is student level at best, he has never shown much ability in the art or even interest in it. Despite most of his teachers and his Genin Sensei telling him to at least learn the Genjutsu Release ability. Omo has yet to master how to defend or cancel out a Genjutsu, usually opting to take out the shinobi before they could ensnare him in the illusion as it would mean the end of the fight or more importantly his life. Omo has developed his own way of defending against Genjutsu users, and that's unrelenting attacking, keeping them busy with a storm of Silver Sand while hoping to take them out before he runs out. FUUINJUSTU: SKILL RANK: E SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: There's not much that can be said about Omo's Fuinjutsu skills besides nonexistent, he has even paid more attention to the arts of Genjutsu and that's only coming up with his own way of defending against it. When it comes to Fuinjutsu, Omo's is, in other words, royally screwed, not only does he not have knowledge of using sealing Jutsu besides, one or two basics, Omo has no knowledge or even idea on how to defend or remove a seal once it's placed. This along with Genjutsu are his strongest weak points when it comes to overall skill, something he plans on changing in the future. Omo plans to, at the least, learn how to defend himself against both Genjutsu and Fuinjutsu assaults in the near future. | ||||||||
