Sakyū Clan |
VILLAGE:-- Sunagakure | Kumogakure ORIGIN: -- Kaze no Kuni CLAN HISTORY: -- During the time before the shinobi villages, Kaze no kuni were ruled by several notable shinobi tribes, these tribes would go on to create the hidden Sand Village. However, there was one more tribe of shinobi during this time, a tribe so elusive that the other clans weren't even aware of their existence. This tribe was known as the Sakyū clan, the tribe had settled in an area of Kaze no kuni with the thickest shroud of the country's infamous sandstorms. Because of it having the harshest sandstorms within the country, no other shinobi clan dared to traverse it's lands besides the Sakyū clan. The area the Sakyū clan had claimed as their own was at the time, the most rural and unexplored territory of Kaze no kuni. The clan quickly made great use of the natural deposits of resources, using the natural sandstorms to survive and eventually thrive during very troubled times. The shinobi clans inland were being hired all over the continent by various nations to battle over mostly territory disputes. The Sakyū clan one of the many shinobi clans within Kaze no kuni who were gifted with a rare Kekkei Genkai, theirs... The Jiton - Magenet Release element. Using their abilities they would become legend as they created a name for themselves, though being as elusive as they were none of the other clans could pinpoint their exact location, only knowing they dwelled within the harshest sandstorms of Kaze no kuni. The clan's intangible nature allowed for them to effectively fight against the other shinobi clans who were also born with devastating abilities. The Sakyū clan had honed this particular skill to the point where the Sakyū clan could attack one clan and blame the incident on another, without ever catching the blame or retaliation. Even if there were evidence that the Sakyū were involved most of the clans would deny the evidence as a cover up, only because it was hard to even prove the clan's existence. Despite their elusive and intangible nature, a few of the clans had enough gall to try and enter the thick sandstorms to rid the world of the infamous Sakyū, only to never hear from their Shinobi again. As the years passed the Sakyū clan expanded rapidly, with more clansmen unlocking the magnet release Kekkei Genkai. This made the clan quickly rise in infamy, being considered a clan of demons because of the magnet release Kekkei Genkai. This had both good and bad consequences for the Sakyū, while they had a mighty weapon to utilize against their enemies. Their enemies now had something to connect the Sakyū clan too and as such would damage their notable intangibility. Despite this, the pros of utilizing the magnet release outweighed the cons of having the other clans recognizing them. With the slow emergence of Shinobi villages in the rest of the world, the Daimyo of the Land of Kaze no kuni recognized the abilities of the tribes and contracted them to join his forces. The clan leaders communed in a rarely-seen gathering, and over five days and five nights they formed an alliance, written out in full and signed in each leader's own blood to make the contract binding. With this, the tribes became the first citizens of the newly crowned Sunagakure no Sato. Not long after this, the leaders of the strongest clans within Kaze no kuni approached the Sakyū clan at the edge of the thickest blanket of harsh winds within Kaze no kuni to acknowledge the Sakyū's power and ask for them to join the newly formed village. The Sakyū clan resistant at first being that their ideals greatly differed from the other clans, however the other leaders thought this merger to be best for both the entire nation. To persuade the Sakyū's trust, other leaders promised to allow their radical ideals to be apart of Suagakure. The Sakyū clan were allowed to keep their cultural ideals, allowing them to act under the law of sunagakure. With negotiations and demands met, Sakyū clan and would become apart of Sunagakure's history. Although majority of the Sakyū clan would agree to the agreement of the clan leaders. There were quite a few families within the Sakyū who did not, mostly those who still harbored hate or distrust for the other clans. This wasn't their fault, having to fight the others for years would breed hate and uncertainty in most. Fearing that the un-allied Sakyū would become a problem because of past conflicts the Wind Daimyo would exile the remaining clan members., only allowing them to keep their lives at the request if their former clansman. The Un-allied Sakyū clan members had no other choice but travel to the main land. Where they would eventually be taken in by numerous shinobi villages. This event would unintentionally dub the Sakyū as a world clan, despite originating from Kaze no kuni. Additionally, it would also create a clan feud that would transcend ages, as none of the sister clans were on good terms with each other. Even after years of degrading history and tradition, the Sakyū still held a grudges between the clan members from Kumogakure CLAN IDEOLOGY: -- First and foremost the Sakyū clan are highly diverse if not the most diverse clan within Kaze no Kuni. They tend to come in all shapes and sizes, with a plethora of different abilities. The only distinguishing traits are their incredible instincts and the infamous Jiton element. Before becoming the infamous world clan as it is known today, the Sakyū clan were once a small tribe of shinobi who inhabited the endless sand dunes of Kaze no Kuni. The clan carried themselves with a large degree nobility. Firm and unyielding, the Sakyū clan believed that the interests of the clan or village should be placed above all else, even ethics and morals. Being considered extremist compared to their neighboring clans, the Sakyū clan prefers to directly eliminate threats through assassination, execution and even war, rather than diplomacy and negotiations. Because of these views the Sakyū clan is one of the most militaristic clans with Kaze no kuni. Many different interpretation of the original Sakyū clan would come into being, this was result of the banished members traveling to the mainland and adopting their own version of the clan's ideology. Some had more noble ideals, while others would become crude and almost feral. Either way, these descendants would usually have one of the aspects the clan's former ideals, tweaked by the cultural differences of their respective nation. The migration of the Sakyū clan would create tension and eventually disdain between the clans as their original traditions and ideals began to degrade. It can go without saying that the Kaze no kuni Sakyū were the cause of the feud as they are the ones that held fast to their original ideals, which was to carry themselves with grace yet show no mercy. As word spread of the mainland clans straying from tradition. The Kaze no kuni Sakyū would start to see themselves as the pure blooded Sakyū who stayed true to their beliefs, looking down on the mainland Sakyū as if they were children. While their dislike for each other is great, there are only few instances that resulted in violence as the Kaze no Kuni Sakyū, who keep to tradition stayed relatively peaceful (a result of their aristocratic ideology) but showed their contempt for the mainlanders. In return the mainlanders who aren't bounded by tradition would usually be the one to incite violence. Additionally, because of both sides originated from their old way of life both showed no mercy, especially when the Kaze no Kuni Sakyū were forced to forgo tradition and fight their kin.Despite the change in ideals, there was was a few traits that all Sakyū clan members have. Most likely a product of their original shinobi ideology, the entire clan, staunchly believes in "survival of the fittest" philosophy. As such, they have no tolerance at all for weakness or lack of willpower. Because of this philosophy the clan fosters great distaste for the concepts or mindsets that promotes easy handouts and unnecessary compromise. While the Sakyū clan cannot be said to have a "soft spot" for anyone in particular, they are deceptively loyal and selfless individuals when it comes to their respective village, because of this they are prone to taking great risks in order to protect their village. Lastly, most Sakyū clan members have a fanatical aspect to their personality, this being the use of their natural "instincts" and senses. This makes them highly analytic and strategic, even when outside of battles. This aspect of the Sakyū clan nature doesn't allow their anger and aggression to cloud their judgment or causes them to go into fits of rage. That being said, they are extremely perceptive and adaptive, able to coolly judge which courses of action will lead to the most beneficial results and capable of thinking and acting on the fly in response to unpredictable or mutable circumstances. In conclusion the clan is considered shinobi geniuses, the Sakyū member's natural fighting style is usually completely improvised; When a Sakyū fights, they usually rely heavily on their natural instincts, this coupled with their no mercy ideology gives them no particular code of honor, and so if necessary, will attack women or animals, hit below the belt, attack their enemies even if they have their backs turned or are otherwise unprepared or unsuspecting, use enemies as human shields and even bite their opponents. CLAN ABILITIES: -- Jiton | Magnet Release: By simultaneously utilizing the Raiton and Doton chakra natures a Sakyu is able to create the advance chakra nature known as Magnet Release. With the Magnet element a Sakyu is able to generate and manipulate magnetic forces. The element itself have many unorthodox ways of being used with those who display it often figuring out their own way. The most common ways of utilizing the magnet element includes but aren't limited things such as Metal participial manipulation, magnetic field transfer or even Magnetic fuinjutsu that binds the opponent. As a homage to the endless sands of the great Kaze no Kuni desert, the Sunagakure Sakyu are known to convert their chakra into strong magnetic forces, enabling them to manipulate "sand" or "dust" of various metals. While the Sakyu of Kumogakure are known to manipulate the actual element itself, enabling them to magnetism their enemies, weapons or manipulate metals to some degree. It should be noted that while both branches of the clan usually use the element to manipulate weapons to attack as the chakra is converted into magnetic forces. Every Sakyu has the ability to utilize their Magnetic Chakra in various ways and is not limited to the traditional usage both clan's are known for. Enhanced Chakra Control: Just as definitive to the Sakyu clan as their Jiton element, is their unnatural chakra control. The Sakyu clan members are born with naturally enhanced chakra control, this included shape and nature transformation. The ability's effects were so astounding that it grants a Sakyu clan member good control over their chakra even when not formally trained. Basically allowing it's shinobi to be able to utilize jutsu with the minimum amount of chakra needed and in time become masters of shape and nature transformation. Additionally, with further training a Sakyu's chakra control can become "otherworldly" as more experienced clan's members are able to almost instantly focus their chakra to any part of their body without the enemy knowing, enabling them to utilize most jutsu with one hand seal or activate jutsu in a moments notice. CLAN HIERARCHY: -- The way that the Sakyū clan chooses its leader has never changed, and is based directly on their ideology of survival of the fittest. Because of this the clan believes that it should be led by the strongest within the clan. This is not to say that they are savages that believe that the clan members should fight to the death to find the strongest warrior to lead them. Usually when choosing to whom among them should lead, the clan the entirety of the clan convenes to discuss the issue. What this usually means for the members of the clan is discussing the achievements of the higher ranked ninja to decide who the strongest is. The merits usually discussed are missions as well as number of kills in active duty, as well as the skill level of those of the highest rank within the clan (meaning Jounin). The discussions last until someone nominates one of the members discussed for leadership. Once one person is nominated this starts the nomination phase of the discussion the member nominated needs at least ten people to vouch for them before being seriously considered, this is also the time where other members can be nominated. One of two things can happen after this, if another member is not successfully nominated then the first member nominated becomes the leader of the clan. However, if another member is nominated too, then the next phase of the clan leader selection process happens. The next phase is a tournament (if there are more than two nominees), or a duel against the two nominees. While the fighting is akin to sparring with one another the match is taken very seriously and is fought with honor. The fight has the dual purpose of finding out who is stronger as well as showing the clan that their new leader will fight with honor. These two things are very important to the clan and anyone who shows that they cannot fight with honor will be dismissed from the clan. The clan leader has complete control over the clan being in charge of all clan decisions. However, if a member of the clan is believes that they would make a better leader then they can use their right to challenge which all members of the clan have regardless of age sex or skill level. Once a member decides to use their right of challenge they need supporters who believe that they will make a better leader than the current head. If the challenger receives ten people to support their claim then the two will duel for the spot of clan leader. Finally the current clan leader cannot assign someone the position even if they are on their deathbed they must leave the decision to the clan.
