Ruin and Preservation

滅亡時代 ・ 維持保存時代 | Metsubōjidai ・ Ijihozonjidai [Age of Ruin ・ Age of Preservation] WEAPON TYPE: 甲掛け | Kōgake [Guantlet] RANK: A ELEMENT: 雷遁 | Raiton [Lightning Release] APPEARANCE: Initially Miki's gauntlets aren't particularly ornate in design, resembling a rather bulky pair of gloved knuckledusters. Between each knuckle is enough space for Miki's claws to extend unhindered. In between the knuckle band, glove body and wrist guard are sections of flexible, partitioned steel for maximum range of motion. Lining the inside of each glove is a thick layer of fine cloth, providing protection from chaffing as well as allowing the gloves to truly act as an extension of Miki's fists. On the dorsal (back) side of each glove is a small eight trigram shiki (formula) circle which can be personalized to allow the use of one fūinjutsu per glove. Despite their seemingly lightweight appearance, each gauntlet actually weighs 50kg (~100lbs) each; while this is nothing jaw-dropping, an average shinobi would struggle to pick up the gauntlets, let alone fight effectively with them. ABILITIES: 宇宙鋼状い資財・生気導電性 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Seiki Dōdensei [Nebium Property: Chakra Conductive] Miki's gauntlets are made from nebium, the meteoric ore originating from the 7th Heaven Mountain Range, allowing him to flow his elemental chakra into the gauntlets for various purposes. The primary function these gauntlets serve utilizing the chakra conductive nature is to enhance Miki's already devastating Taijutsu strikes with Lightning Release chakra. Not only does this add a shocking aspect, but also allows Miki to statically charge his strikes; doing so enables Miki to not only strike his opponents with incredible force and power, but also launch them great distances [up to 30m] at very quick speeds.  宇宙鋼状い資財・隕石硬度 | Uchūkōjōi Shizai: Insekigōdō [Nebium Property: Meteorite Hardness] Made using the insanely durability steel nebium originating from the 7th Heaven Mountain Range, Miki's gauntlets are incredibly resistant to vibration damage and force. Combined with the chakra-reactive properties, the gauntlets are able to adjust to the sheer power and force of Mik's strikes, dispersing the intense vibrations throughout the metal to ensure maximum stability. Using the gauntlets alone, Miki can easily crack stone and dent steel, let alone shatter bones with a well-placed hit. The gauntlets can also be used to defend against even the harshest of taijutsu and bukijutsu, while also being able to withstand a decent amount of abuse from elemental ninjutsu. NOTE: Miki's gauntlet's immunities stem from nebium, granting them immunity to basic elemental chakra nature [a-rank and below] and advanced elemental nature damage [b-rank and below]; resistance to intense physical attacks [a-rank and below taijutsu/bukijutsu]. 変通自在封印術式 | Hentsūjizai Fūinjutsu-shiki [Adaptable Sealing Technique Formula] On the back side of each glove is a small eight trigram shiki (formula) circle which can be personalized to allow the use of one fūinjutsu per glove. Due to the nature of the shiki, Miki may write any fūinjutsu he knows upon the gauntlets and use them as a medium to perform the jutsu by slamming the gauntlet onto a surface, as opposed to using handseals; however, there is a slight time charge in order to set up the seals [1 post preparation]. On the left gauntlet is a sealing technique formula for the [Mountain Protection Charm: Wicked Magic Calamity Warding] seal, while the right has a sealing technique formula for the [Mountain Protectino Charm: Mother-of-Pearl] seal; in order to initiate either of these fūinjutsu, Miki must punch a hard surface with the gauntlet. The two sealing technique formulas were etched into Miki's gauntlets after the attack of the jūbi as a precautionary measure by Kumogakure's elite sealing experts, and by doing so, used their chakra to facilitate the sealing process. NOTE: Miki does not currently know either of these sealing techniques, and as such, once he activates the formula and uses the seal, he will then need to legitimately learn the techniques and channel the necessary chakra into the adpative sealing formula to use them again.

Raikage's Visor

日天の目 | Nitten no Me [Imperial Sunshine Eyes] WEAPON TYPE: 眉庇 | Mabisashi [Visor] RANK: B ELEMENT: N/A APPEARANCE: Best described as a visor of sorts, Miki's visor has three straight edges (the top and two sides), while the bottom consists of two "V" shaped edges. The visor itself is an opalesque hue, appearing to be a light purple in direct sunlight.  ABILITIES: 幻術認識 | Genjutsu Ninshiki [Illusion Technique Awareness] A man constantly overwhelmed with anger, Miki is slightly more susceptible to the effects of Genjutsu. As such he created a temporary solution; while wearing the visor, Miki is alerted to any foreign chakra which has altered his surroundings and will see as normal, including seeing through basic Henge [b-rank and below Genjutsu]. This does not apply to Genjutsu that effect only him, however. Note that the visor does not break Miki out of a Genjutsu, only alerts him to the presence of one in a 15m radius of himself. 鋼剛耐久性 | Kōgō Taikyūsei [Steel-hard Durability] Made from the same quality-grade steel used for basic ninja weapons, Miki's visor is both incredibly lightweight and highly durable. Despite its seemingly flimsy appearance, the visor is able to withstand damage from moderate taijutsu and bukijutsu [b-rank and below], as well as low level, basic elemental ninjutsu [c-rank and below]. Due to its steel-hard durability, Miki can also use the visor as a makeshift kunai or shuriken; by flowing his chakra into the material, Miki can temporarily make the visor's typically dull edges razor sharp for a surprise maneuver.
