Uchiha Clan |
VILLAGE:-- Konohagakure ORIGIN: -- Hi no Kuni CLAN HISTORY: -- The Uchiha Clan is one of the oldest ninja clans of the Fire Country. It is most well known for its infamous Doujutsu, The Sharingan and their natural shinobi talent. Much of the Clan's history is shrouded under the viel of myth vs history. The little that is known of the Uchiha is passed down through generations on a stone tablet, it included small portion of the clan's history and texts about the clan's Doujutsu. However, the entire passage of tablet was lost over time, unable to withstand the years of weathering. The Uchiha clan gained their glory through their prowess in battle during some of the first wars of the shinobi world. However, unlike the other famous clan's of the fire country, the Uchiha clan started from humble beginnings. In the the early years, the Uchiha clan were a small and reclusive group of shinobi who lived along Hi no Kuni's mountain ranges. The members of the Uchiha were born with a natural skill in the shinobi arts, along with knowledge and practices that had been passed down through generations. During the brutal and lengthy era of mercenary clans. The Uchiha clan like the others were employed by Hi no Kuni to wage war against their enemies. As time went on, and the death toll mounted. The Uchiha continued to thrive, even during an age where the average life expectancy of shinobi were only a few decades. Their prowess as a shinobi itself, had become devastating, allowing them to live and grow stronger, were most clans died out. Some time during this devastating period, the Uchiha clan would be thrown into civil war that threatened to wipe them out, when the clan heirs Uchiha Nakano and Uchiha Ijima vied for control. Uchiha Nakano and her brother Ijima were two of the strongest shinobi the clan had ever produced. Nakano's skill with ninjutsu and immensely strong chakra lead her to become a great Kunochi. However, it was the devastating ability she had been born with that had earned her the title of Clan leader. Like all Uchiha clan members, Nakano and her brother were born with great shinobi talent, however Nakano's was born with chakra of greater potency than her brother and clan. A shinobi of high skill and a clan who were rumored to be descendants of the first shinobi. The arguments between the siblings had completely divided the clan, on one side there stood Ijima, who wanted to use the clan's might to dominate the other Hi no Kuni clans, while on the other side was Nakano...who agreed that the clan should become stronger and be recognized but not at the cost of their clan's lives. The nations were already at war and many of their kin had already died, Nakano had the utmost confidence in his Clan's abilities but she was no fool. Causing such a disturbance during the times they were in would surely mean death. Ijima didn't listen to his sister, he felt that her ideals were weak and that only the strong could lead the Uchiha and of course Hi no kuni. Ultimately, after a few skirmishes that nearly killed every Uchiha, both siblings wanted end to the murder of their clansmen. The two shinobi decided to settle the dispute by a Agni Kai or duel to the death. The battle that ensued was brutal, both siblings utilizing their amazing shinobi skills. Over years, Nakano had mastered all the elemental chakra Natures, Futon, Doton, suiton, raiton and Katon. While her brother a shinobi in his own right had become a great shinobi using his mixture of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. The battle was fierce, their abilities scarring the land they fought on, however Ijima had a trump card up his sleeves. Nakano's brother at some point had mastered the ability to unlock the eight chakra gates, a powerful ability that turned the user into a powerhouse of chakra and raw strength. Once Ijima had opened the gates, he was able to over power his sister. Nakano had no idea her brother had such an ability, but she never gave up even when starring down her brother who had opened all but two of the eight gates. As Ijima pressed his sister into a corner, Nakano couldn't help but feel sad for the fate of her clan. Knowing all to well that her brother would lead the clan to their destruction. Just before the last blow was struck, Ijima had prolonged his sister's death just to gloat and belittle Nakano for even thinking of becoming the clan's leader. Ijima would come to regret letting his pride take over before the battle was finished. As her brother's words filled her head with anger and the thought of losing her clan weighed heavy on his heart. Nakano's brain suddenly released a special form of chakra that affected her optic nerves, transforming her eyes into a fully matured Sharingan. Nakano suddenly unleashed a devastating amount of chakra, causing the air around her to become dense. Using the unbelievable sight of her new eyes, Nakano went on the offensive blindingly attacking her brother with all the strength she could muster. Being highly prideful, Ijima wouldn't admit defeat, even after witnessing his sister's new found abilities. Instead, he would try to open the last and finale chakra gate, the gate of death. The man wouldn't allow himself to be beaten by someone he thought was under him, he'd rather die from his own jutsu instead. However, Nakano knew that she couldn't allow her brother to open the last gate utilizing the hypnotic abilities of the sharigan, Nakano was able to interupt her brother's jutsu, trapping the man within a genjutsu that caused him to immediately fall unconscious. As the battle had come to a close, Nakano looked in horror, as her brother would succumb to the affects of her genjutsu. Interestingly enough the passing of her brother would cause her sharingan to evolve into another form, the Mangekyou Sharingan. Nakano saw the shringan as the salvation of the Uchiha clan, she committed the rest of her life to making her clan flourish and eventually unlocking the mysteries behind the Doujutsu. Nakano would go on to become leader of the Uchiha clan, and under her rule she would usher in a new beginning. The once reserved and secluded clan would joined the forefront of the nation wars. During this time more wielders of the Sharingan would be born, ultimately cascading the clan into being one of the strongest within Hi no Kuni. With their newly acquired sharingan and uncanny ability with the shinobi arts, the Uchiha clan shinobi were able to utilize and master multiple shinobi arts, likening their diverse abilities to their neighbor members of the Senju clan. As years passed, the uchiha clan would be one of the many to join the battle against the Ten-Tails, however not soon after it's defeat the era of the Warring States would end. Enemy clans across the globe started to become allies and out of these alliances birthed the Shinobi Village System. The Uchiha clan settled into their home country of Hi no Kuni, until they were summoned to join the newly formed Shinobi Village. The clan would accepted the request, honoring the wishes of their fallen comrades. From that point on the Uchiha Clan would apart of one of the strongest shinobi villages created, The Village Hidden in the Leaves. Their skill and their power, made them a big asset in uniting warring factions within Hi no Kuni, as they believed Hi no Kuni natives where their family. It allowed them to make a bonds with the other Hi no Kuni Clans, espcially with the Hyuuga Clan, who they had been at war with since the emergance of the Sharingan. In the most recent times, the Uchiha clan attribute their fame to knowledge, bonds and family. They also attribute their longevity, to a single woman, who have become a saint to many of the Uchiha, even today. A woman that in times of civil unrest, had managed to create peace, unity, and prosperity; the woman known as Uchiha Nakano. Since then the Uchiha clan has held an alliance with all the other clans residing within the village. Of their relationships within Konoha, the one they share with the Hyuuga is a most peculiar one, as in the past the two used to fight each other just to prove who's Doujutsu was stronger. Today, that has turned into fragil rivalry, as the two clans acknowledge each others strenght, skill and importance in keeping Konohagakure stable and flourishing. It was an alliance and a bond, that for generations seemed stable. A bond of rivalry, that brought out the strongest within the Hyuuga and Uchiha alike. This healthy relationship with the Uchiha clan was kept intact until the death of Uchiha Taiyo, the most recent Uchiha clan leader to pass, and closest living relative to Uchiha Nakano. The Uchiha was slain by a group of hired assassins, hell bent on stealing the Uchiha's sharingan. Taiyo had dedicated his life and soul to the clan, and when he became aware that a group of underground shinobi and black market traders were trying to steal the Uchiha's sharingan, he sent in his shinobi, and forcefully put a stop to it. That is why he became a target. Although the exact specifics of the occurrence remains unknown to this day, Taiyo's death was a confirmed murder. Rumors took hold, that the group of assassins who had taken the life of Uchiha Taiyo were members of the Hyuuga clan. Rumors that the Hyuuga weren't going to stand for, and certainly wouldn't accept. The hushed whispers of family members to their children, slowly brought conflict upon the relationship between the two factions. Conflict that the elders of the Hyuuga found unhealthy. In secret, they investigated, followed the trail, until they could find the group of assassins. The assassins had been a group of missing nins, functioning as bounty hunters. The Hyuuga, wanting to clear their name, invited the Uchiha for the hunt. Together, the two clans slaughtered all of those involved in Taiyo's murder, despite not finding the actual clients. However, the process still managed to clear the name of the Hyuuga. Although their name was cleared, the tension born from the event still affects the two clans in the present. CLAN IDEOLOGY: -- As the one of the prominent clans in uniting the shinobi of Hi no Kuni, the Uchiha clan are extremely calm and collective individuals, they tend to be unfailingly polite when it comes to dealing with sensitive situations such as diplomacy and politics. When it comes to their comrades the Uchiha clan can be seen as some as every day shinobi or people. Able to laugh and be the butt of jokes regardless of their terrifying appearance and strict views when aiding the village. Because of this, the clan is well respected and admired by villagers and shinobi alike, whom they consider to be their own family. However, this is side of the Uchiha are only seen by their allies and native Hi no Kunians, their true nature is highly manipulative and very dangerous. In truth, the Uchiha clan care very little for the other shinobi nations and is willing to use almost everyone around them as pawns to achieve prosperity within Konohagakure. They are willing to stop at nothing to further Hi no Kuni's political and military power, including manipulating or killing anyone if they are deemed Hi no Kuni's enemy. Believing only Konohagakure and it's allies are worth honor and integrity. The embodiment of conviction, the Uchiha clan are devout followers of an Ideology known only as "Absolute Justice" , best described as willing to sacrifice anything to defeat what is defined as "evil" by Konohagkure's laws. The traditional purpose of the Uchiha remains rooted in the idea of bringing justice to any enemy of the hidden leaf village. They use justice as their constituted policy to bring prosperity to their shinobi village, in a world that is made entirely of desperate shinobi. Overall, The Uchiha clan wants nothing more than the prosperity of their own clan and hidden village, and would achieve this by any means necessary, even if it meant war. Basically justifying their borderline immoral actions by stating "The duty of the Uchiha is to maintain a law and order throughout the world and impose the will and might of Konohagakure no Sato" As such, The Uchiha clan are very loyal to Hi no Kuni, and take their duties very seriously, expecting the same from the rest of their shinobi force. CLAN ABILITIES: -- Sharingan: The Sharingan is the powerful Dōjutsu of the Uchiha Clan of the Hidden Leaf. The eye comes in a total of three-tomoe, with each of its abilities growing stronger with the number of tomoe that are gained. Initially, the Sharingan must be unlocked under a very stressful circumstance; however, for the following tomoe, they can be unlocked through intense training, stressful circumstances, or a combination of both. Among its abilities, the eye possesses the ability to see the flow of chakra. It is a useful supplementary tool that allows an Uchiha to tell if their ally is in a Genjutsu or and see chakra as a color; however, this ability is the only constant between those who wield the eye. For this reason, this thread is here to supply information, insight, and ruling to the other areas of the Sharingan's abilities. Eye of Insight (洞察眼, "Dōsatsugan") The Eye of Insight is the part of the Sharingan's abilities that grants the shinobi increased clarity and perception, the Uchiha clan to perceive the movements of objects and people with great "insight". Subtle details can also be identified, granting the wielder of the eye the ability to read lips or mimic things like pencil movements. In combat, this allows them to see fast-moving objects and, once fully developed, offers some amount of predictive capabilities: they can anticipate an opponent's next move based on the slightest muscle tension in their body and act accordingly to dodge or intercept. Although a Sharingan user can see these things, they also need the physical ability to actually act on the visual information. The user is able to copy almost any jutsu they see, memorizing ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near-perfect accuracy. They can then either perform that jutsu or modify it to suit their needs. Again, Sharingan users need the prerequisite abilities before they can mimic a jutsu they have seen, and for that reason, they cannot, for example, reproduce kekkei genkai abilities they do not have or nature transformations they haven't learned to perform. If the wielder of the Sharingan has a greater focus in the Saimingan, the Dōsatsugan will be lower. Eye of Hypnotism (催眠眼, "Saimingan") The Eye of Hypnotism is the term of the Sharingan's Genjutsu capabilities. It is by this ability that the wielder of the Dōjutsu is able to cast the Sharingan's unique brand of hypnosis, which involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the target through eye contact. Through the Saimingan, one is also able to cast Genjutsu techniques unique to the Sharingan. They can also case generic Genjutsu whose effects may include either paralysis, sleep, or replaying memories to another. Ones strength with the Saimingan, like its counterpart, is not constant, for it is variable from person to person. One of the variables that will play into a person's skill with the Saimingan is their skill with the Dōsatsugan, for if you have access to the other, the abilities of the Saimingan will decline. Moreover, the Saimingan will also be heavily dictated by ones Genjutsu specialty, and it will suffer even more depending on where the specialty is placed. Only those who master the Saimingan and Genjutsu will have mastery over the Sharingan's Genjutsu and hypnosis capabilities. CLAN HIERARCHY: -- The Uchiha clan are very diverse and have more freedom than most clans. There are no noble families or branch families and only have two official position within it's ranks, clan leader, and heir. Because the Sharingan can be obtained by anyone within the clan it's possible for anyone to become the leader or an heir of the Uchiha. As such the Uchiha clan only appoints a the strongest Sharingan users as it leader or heir. Because of the Sharingan being the consequent result of their bloodline trait, it is possible for there to be a strong Sharingan user that isn't the leader or heir. However, this is extremely rare, with the most dangerous Jutsu and techniques reserved for the clan leader. In the case of two heirs or multiple highly skilled Sharingan users vying for the leader position. The two or multiple shinobi would have an Agni Kai, which was the Uchiha clan's traditional battle to the death. This was a way to pay homage to the first true heirs of the Uchiha clan, Ijima and Nakano. However, in recent years, the Agni Kai battle is no longer fought to the death, instead, the loser is allowed to live and wear their shame until their death. Which to the Uchiha is a punishment far worse than death. MEMBERS: Clan Leader: Clan Heir: Clan Member: Uchiha Issho Clan Member: |
