In all honesty—what with his crutch and his ankle and the debilitating sense of extreme failure—Inu hadn’t had much time to train at all. And he wasn’t much capable of it anyway. Which made it odd that he had decided to head to the training grounds today, but he figured that he needed something to do. So why not try and get some practice in, or something?
To be honest, now that he was injured, his parents didn’t have much use for him. The less they called his name, the more time he had alone, and he had been very much alone as of late. Too down, even, to locate his Merry Men, Inu’s only company the past few days was hus pillow, his hand, and his youngest brother, occasionally.
For whatever reason, he funally decided to break the cycle.
Though, he also had a knack for missing meals that had grown worse as of late. So he decided that he would eat first before anything else.
His restaurant of choice was a modest shop that sold many different meals. They were simple meals, all revolving around noodles, but also extremely accessible. Which was good for Inu because he never liked to come out of pocket much.
When he took his seat at the bar, he was immediately recognized. He exchanged greetings with the bartender, who asked if he wanted the usual, which was just seasoned noodles cooked in a certain broth of Inu’s choosing (shrimp in this case, which was the usual of course), and he said yes; and afterwards he dropped his gaze and tap-tapped the surface of counter while he waited.
This shop was one of the few places where he was actually respectful. If anyone who knew him ever saw him interacting with the staff, they’d probably think he hit his head really really hard.
