Shinda Tochi, the Dead Lands, is the largest mountain in Iwgakure no Miko. While it seems to be multiple mountains, it is actually one wide mountain that covers the entirety of the bottom side of Iwagakure no Miko. It is also not a mountain, but a gigantic dormant volcano. However, not far underneath the mountain are large rivers of lava, waiting to burst to the surface. The Shiro Family themselves live in this mountain, and with the easily accessible lava, fighting any Shiro Family member on this mountain is a death sentence.

Hibun no Wariategaku, or Ascription's Quota, is a large mountain covered in rough and rugged stone. The mountain causes an extreme amount of friction for anyone moving upon its grounds, making any whom as not used to it exert a large amount of effort to move. Unlike the First Training Ground in Iwagakure that is linked to this mountain, the friction is much more sever, taking four times the effort one would normally need to move at normal speeds. The animals here have of course adapted to the friction, with extreme strength and speed increases compared to what they would have possessed if they lived anywhere else. Most of these beasts can kill Chuunin in one on one combat. Of course without the friction working upon them, they can move even faster, and now can likely kill jonin one on one.
Iwagakure, the Village Hidden In The Stones, is the hidden village of the Land of Earth. As the village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Iwagakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Tsuchikage. The rocky mountain ranges that surround the village provide a natural stronghold that it is very proud of. The village's infrastructure is built from much of the surrounding rock and stone, shaped into tower-like structures. The ground itself is over fifty stories beneath most of the buildings, and is smoothed perfectly. This makes travel in Iwagakure simple and easy, while making the buildings tower over most men, intimidating most newcomers.

The Tsuchikage's residence is the tallest structure with a cone-shaped roof and bears the kanji for "Earth" (土, Tsuchi) on it.
