Sitting north-west of the forest of death, and Konohagakure, bordering the Waterfall, Grass and Rain countries. Including the northern most part of the river country The Grass Sea is a rolling grassland Savannah sparsely dotted with trees. The grass sea has many different kinds of plants and animals. While one of Hi no kuni's most beautiful and abundant natural resources, there are dangers that call the Savannah home, such as the Piruma which is a omnivorous horse like creature. It should be noted that the Grass Sea is protected by a small tribe of people known as the Torran, that opted to not join Konohagakure. While, not affiliated with the shinobi village, the Torran people are loyal to the country itself and will protect their land and Konohagakure.

Long before the rise of the Ten-Tails and the Hidden Villages, Hi no kuni's massive forest was known as the Forest of Death and the ancestral home of the Sarutobi clan. The Forest covers majority of the Fire Nation, reaching to the Hanguri Gulf coast and ending at the Hanguri Peninsula. The forest has a vast range of unique fauna and flora; because chakra is the source of all life on the planet even the animals and plant life of Hi no kuni could prove disastrous for citizens and let alone foreigners. As a tribute to the Sarutobi clan and the Shodaime Hokage: Sarutobi Kyoraku; Konohakure no Sato was founded within Shi no Mori. Because of this, it is one of the few true "Hidden" villages in the world. While many of the natives have largely tamed the lands, the forest of death that surrounds Konohagakure are quite wild to most visitors. With the majority of the nation being unspoiled forest, jungle and mountain ranges.
Tajima Delta is a very large, swampy inland delta formed where the lower reaches of the River country's rivers, spreads out, slows down and flows into the south-western part of Hi no kuni, filling the areas extensive floodplains and marshes. Like the rest of Hi no kuni, the Tajima delta is inhabited by numerous unique animals and plant life. There is also a guardian tribe native to Hi no kuni that calls the delta home. The tribe is known as the Nerus, who are more feral than the Torran of the northwest. Because of this only power and strength were able to swayed them to be loyal to Hi no kuni and it's hidden village. The Nerus people build their villages along the rivers of Tajima delta, as the Nereids that live within the rivers are their primary source of food.

Hanguri's gulf coast is located at the southern most part of Hi no kuni, the gulf itself is considered international waters and is collaboratively owned by the fire country, the river country and the wind country. It has been and will continue to be one of the busiest coasts within Hi no kuni, as the shaky collaboration could dissolve within a moments notice. Hanguri coast is a place of business and one of the most diverse places within the country, with frequent visitors from Kaze no kuni and the river country. That being said the Hi no kuni occupied area of the coast is highly guarded, this includes Hi no kuni's territory within the Hanguri Peninsula.
